SummaryBefore replacing the key fob battery, please follow the following steps: 1- Check if there is a "FOB Low Battery" msg on the instrument cluster 2- Check if there is a fob Low battery active DTC Fob battery 1 DTC B1A10-00 or Fob battery 2 DTC B1A11-00 3- Check if the original battery is installed which Varta or Panasonic sized CR 2450 4- Verify if the fob ID printed under the battery cover matches fob IDs stored in the RFHUB, use DID $A004 - Engineering Development Data 1 (FOB ID 1 & 2) to check the fob IDs in the RFHUB 5- Check the voltage of the coin battery, replace the battery only if the voltage is 2.3V or below and report the voltage in the dealer narratives
