My 2022 Ram 3500 was manufactured without the **Particulate Matter (PM) Sensor**, a defect officially acknowledged in Recall Y43. This factory omission has caused terminal blockage of the **Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)**—a specific consequential failure documented in the manufacturer's own recall filing. **Technical Argument:** 1. **Causal Link:** The official Y43 recall notice states: *"The PM sensor... may not have been installed... This could increase vehicle emissions and **block the diesel particulate filter**."* My vehicle currently suffers from the exact "blocked DPF" condition described. 2. **Ineffective Remedy:** Stellantis has offered to install the missing sensor (the Y43 part) but refuses to replace the ruined DPF. Installing a sensor on a filter already terminally blocked due to the sensor's absence is not an "effective remedy" under the **National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act**. 3. **Warranty Admission:** Per **TSB 09-014-22 (X97)**, the manufacturer has issued a 1-year unlimited mile warranty extension for the DPF specifically for vehicles affected by Y43. Refusing to replace a filter that failed *before* the recall was performed is an attempt to circumvent this warranty obligation. **Safety Risk:** The vehicle is currently in "Limp Mode" with a "Filter Full - Power Reduced" message. This creates an unreasonable safety risk of **stalling or loss of power** while operating on public highways, a condition explicitly mentioned in the Y43 safety report as increasing the risk of an accident. SERVICE BRAKES
The recall for theABS HCU has been in place for well over a year with no parts. Nothing is being done with this recall. My ABS HCU has not been working in two years causing loss of traction control, no ABS, no cruise control. I was almost in a head on collision with a car in my lane and the truck skidded off the road. Luckily there’s was no collision or injury. It is ridiculous that ram still offers the part that has been identified as bad but has made no effort to replace with a better unit yet are continuing to build new vehicles. At the very least RAM should install a new “bad” part until replacement parts are available. I have attached a screenshot of the RAM app showing the status of the recall.

The backup (rear) camera worked intermittently, then did not work at all. Safety was put at risk by a lack of image during the backing event. The vehicle was taken to a local Ram dealer, where they reproduced the issue, diagnosed that the camera had an internal malfunction, and replaced the rear camera. No warning messages were displayed, only a black screen when backing.

We have been waiting over a year now for the below to be remedied. Our ABS light goes off constantly and when it does, it causes cruise to stop working. There is a notification alarm (ding) that goes off and on while driving the truck. We pull a 41ft 5th Wheel and we were told it was okay to pull, however, we have now been advised that it's not a good idea to pull. How is this fair when we bought this truck for the intention of pulling our 5th wheel and now it's not safe. Therefore, our truck can't even be used for the intended purpose safely. I've looked into Nebraska Lemon Law and I feel that we are WAY over the point of having to wait for this correction to be sent to a dealer so that we can get it fixed. I would appreciate a part being sent ASAP so we can use our truck for the intended purpose of hauling our 5th Wheel or buy this truck back and give me a new one. I'm tired of not being able to use our truck to pull our 5th wheel (We don't have another vehicle that can pull our camper) and I'm sick and tired of driving the truck and having the ABS going on and off and on and off and not being able to use cruise. The contact owns a 2025 Ram 3500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 MPH, several unknown warning lights illuminated, and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed, and determined that several repairs were needed, and there was an issue with the battery. The dealer replaced two batteries, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer, but the cause of the failure was not duplicated. On another occasion, while driving approximately 50 MPH and hauling a trailer, there were several unknown warning lights illuminated, and the contact heard a loud banging coming from the engine compartment before the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to a different dealer, where it was diagnosed with transmission failure. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 9,000.

The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the steering rack needed to be replaced; however, the cause of the failure was not known. The vehicle was not repaired. Another dealer was contacted and confirmed that the steering rack needed to be replaced and assisted the contact with finding the parts to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 275,000.

The contact stated that the failure had occurred while a pickup box trailer was hitched to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was determined that the wheel bolts had detached. The contact was informed that the rear wheel studs had sheared off into the wheel hub. The contact was informed that the rear wheel studs needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V398000 (Wheels); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. See Attached Letter federal safety recall #c4b/nhtsa 24v-896 paid to have repairs done over two years ago the part was the old defect one took months to get paid still waiting for new improved part for 2017 and 2018 ram pickups alarm sounds and light flashes different times this is a anti lock back part and is a safety hazard in winter. please contact fca us llc and get this problem taken care of
