- #11759518August 25, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
On multiple occasions the U-Connect system in the listed 2026 RAM 3500 has gone completely black and was inoperable until a reset was performed. The trailer brake gain control and exhaust brake are accessed and controlled via the touch screen U-Connect system. This failure poses a significant safety issue when the screen goes black and the controls cannot be accessed when pulling a trailer. This can lead to failure to slow/stop the vehicle while in motion, tire failure on the trailer etc. The only method to regain access to the brake controls is to perform a reset of the U-Connect system which can take 2-3 minutes to complete. Stelantis is and has been aware of this issue for some time and has no resolution at this time.

When driving the Anti lock brakes, cruise control, front and rear collision warning system, automatic emergency breaking system and lane keeping system are disabled. All of these alerts are displayed on the display cluster. All of these systems are disabled at the same time. I was told by the dealership that this is caused by a faulty Wheel Speed Sensor. The Wheel Speed Sensors have been replaced 3 times and have not fixed this problem. This has happened when towing a 14,000lbs trailer and the stability of the truck and load are compromised when breaking with a load.

I have been submitting reports to you for several months with no resolution. The truck yet again experienced the same problem, twice, within 1 week. It would start but then claim that it couldn't detect what gear it was in and said "can't shut off until transmission is in park". After cutting electrical power to get it to shut off, it would not start. After getting it started, it would not go into gear. Once I got the engine running and transmission to go into gear, it no longer had ABS.

- #11759017August 24, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
The 2025 and 2026 dually 3500 Ram trucks with the 12" AAM rear axle are having issues with the rear wheel speed sensors (different sensor for each side). They apparently fail or are not able to properly communicate to the computer. When this happens, the following are disabled: -ABS -Auto Emergency Braking -4x4 -Electronic Stability Control -Cruise Sometimes, the engine won't shut off. The gauge cluster will state it can't detect which position the transmission is in. So, you cannot shift, and you can't shut the truck off, and you can't drive. You are stuck in place with a running engine. Despite Stellantis releasing a new revision of wheel speed sensors (AB revision), they have failed in less than 2,000 miles on my truck. Many, many dually owners are experiencing these failures.

- #11758110August 19, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS
2026 Ram 3500 with <2700 miles. The trailer brakes are not applied appropriately when using the brake pedal, even though it will brake appropriately (with 1 of 3 trailers) while squeezing the manual override. This includes all brake levels (1-10 gain). When the trailer is disconnected, the truck will brake and show the appropriate level of pressure on the dash, though when the trailers are connected, one might press their foot 50% of the way down on the pedal while only 5% of the pressure is displayed on the dash and applied to the trailer brakes. This has nearly caused 3 separate accidents while towing (16,600 pounds total) when people merged and braked hard in traffic. Ram dealership initially refused to investigate until persisting and becoming very angry. At that point, the issue was confirmed. Brake module parts are pending replacement at this time. Their current "test methods" don't include an actual trailer and are insufficient to diagnose and identify the issue. There is no doubt that this will kill someone at some point. There was eventually a service trailer brake system message that popped up, though this wasn't persistent and went away automatically, not stored permanently, when the trailer disconnected. This message appeared previously approx 3 times, though there was no trailer connected to the truck at the time. Proximity sensors in the front and rear are also faulty, delaying notification of item in proximity, not displaying at all, or randomly being accurate. It also detects traffic that is a significant distance away. The same Ram dealership repeated the issue and called this "normal or expected behavior". It is, most definitely, not, and may present a danger to small children walking around the vehicle, pets, or potentially property due to the lack of notification of objects present.

From the first day i bought the truck i noticed it had a very tight vibration coming from the rear. I thought its may just be the Firestone tires that were put on at the factory. I had to drive out of state to a small town in Nevada. After around 3500 miles the vibration became severe and felt like i had a tire seperating. I called the nearest tire centers/shops within about 100 miles of my location. None carried the firestone transforce tires. So i traveled to the Nearest shop around 60 miles and the certified tech and managed assisted me. The did an inspection and found the tire was scalloped and damaged. Due to the size difference in the tires the shop had available, i had to purchase 4 tires they had in stock. When the tech and manager roadforced the wheels and tires he discovered one of the wheels had a defect and was not actually round and had a slight “out of round” defect starting from the hub mount center bead that extended to the outer circumference causing the rim”wheel” to be out of round which is how the tire was severely damaged. An out of round wheel can cause tire failure and thus, a safety issue. To date as i write this report, i have tried twice with a dealership to try to resolve this issue under the warranty.

Started with only 320 miles just days after purchasing this new 2026 RAM 3500 on XXX. I have taken the truck to three differ RAM dealerships as this issue continues to occur. [XXX]; [XXX]; and [XXX] Westside all had attempted to fix the issue. I had to return the truck a number of times to [XXX] and [XXX] for the same reasons. The following warmings messages are displayed: FCW/Cruise Control Unavailable Service Required - occurs when using cruise control, Service Electronic Stability Control, Auto Emergency Braking (AEB) Unavailable Service Required, Park Sense Temporarily Unavailable, Service Antilock Brake System, 4WD System Temporarily Unavailable, and Service engine light comes on. Two RAM dealers are saying the issue is the speed sensor, which has been replaced over three times. The RAM dealership had to open an engineer ticket with the manufacture, but the issue is not fixed. The Jacksonville service manger told me I can keep bringing the truck in, but until a different manufacture makes a new speed sensor, the truck will continue to have the same issue. I use the RAM 3500 to pull my RV. Brake system failure put myself and family and others safety at risk while on the road, therefore, I do not drive the truck in fear the brake system will fail and I won't be able to stop 20,000 pounds of truck and RV. The truck is available for inspection, but I am currently in the process of returning the truck under Flordia's Lemon Law. The truck is in for its second front end alignment. I bought it brand new in October 2024 and it has about 43000 miles on it. I'm concerned for my family's safety. If it is going out of alignment this often, I don't feel safe driving it. The dealership has no explanation of why its going out so fast. I know I'm not the only one having this problem. There are thousands of people saying they are having the same issues. It was out of alignment from the factory. Pretty much all of them are. Something needs to be done about this. I put today's date but the first time I took it in was less than a year and 20000 miles ago.

- #11750748July 16, 2026TIRES
Nexen Roadian HTX RH5 LT235/80R17E 120R/117/R At approximately 70 mph, I experienced a severe vibration in the steering wheel. Shortly thereafter, the tread separated from the carcass sending pieces of rubber flying. I was able to pull onto the shoulder and change the tire. These are the OEM tires with about 25000 miles. They have never been under or overinflated and I was not hauling or towing anything.

The drivers seat belt does Not lock when brake is applied, and does not retract when unbuckled. I saw a report where several thousands of seat belts have been recalled that were in similar vehicles to mine. Also in that recall the manufacturer was the same as my seat belt. Can you research again to check if my seat belt should have been recalled. Thanks [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Loss of various systems while towing 14,000# trailer in hilly terrain. Loss of trailer brakes caused diminished control on the vehicle. * 4WD System Temporarily Unavailable * Service Antilock Brake System * Service Electronic Stability Control * Service Trailer Brake System The issue was previously repaired 3x. The problem originally happened 3x on the same road in the same spot. Right turn off a road, then going up hill. The first 2x lasting less than 10 miles. The 3rd, approximately 6,000 miles. This time (4th) it happened while towing 14,000# trailer. Made a left turn, then proceeded up a hill. Scanned the truck and got code C0037-2F. "Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Erratic". Possibly issue with body / chassis / suspension flex or internal axle component being loose. The sensor was already replaced 2x, along with other components under warranty.
