The vehicle was running and suddenly shut down due to a hybrid battery warning right in the middle of traffic, rendering the vehicle undriveable and leaving me in a dangerous position. Vehicle had to be towed to a dealership. Code P0B24 $07EF Hybrid Battery A Voltage Unstable.

The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. Vehicle sold 11/17/2023 by dealership with know issue with information screen. Screen goes black while backing up, using map, have been attempting to have issue fixed since purchase of vehicle, told it is a computer software issue, both Jeep and dealership are are of issue.

While slow braking and pulling into a parking space, the jeep jerked , lunged forward and proceeded to go through the storefront glass and inside the building! 3 people were injured. The engineer was unable to pull data from the EDR due to the speed and no airbags deployed. The jeep is currently at the collision center and they are searching for a mechanic to go over it. Seems difficult to find anyone qualified to do so. I am 100% sure the jeep malfunctioned and accelerated forward. I have read of similar incidents on your site. I will never drive it again as I know it is unsafe!! I would appreciate any help you or anyone else can give me. I am currently working with my insurance company on the claims. I also hired a forensic investigator.

The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving approximately 60–65 MPH, the engine overheated, and the vehicle went into LIMP Mode. The contact was able to coast off the roadway. The contact retrieved DTC code: P00OF (Turbo Charger and Boost Module). The check engine warning light was illuminated. The local dealer was contacted but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the failure was due to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V767000 (Fuel System, Gasoline, Engine). The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 31,300.

While driving the vehicle it will suddenly shut down the engine. Then the letter "D" starts to blink on the gear shift lever. I am able to restart the car by turning it off, waiting for 5 minutest and then restart the car. I turned in the car 3 weeks ago and they still do not know what the problem is.

SUSPENSION, WHEELS, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
When operating the vehicle about ~50mph, and if you drive over a pothole, or bump in the road, the frontend of the vehicle wobble/vibrate uncontrollably. The only solution (I have found) is to lower the speed (which is obviously a problem on the freeway). I purchased the vehicle new from the dealer, have not made any modifications, and they (the dealer) is telling me the tires are the source of the "death wobble" problem. I have spoken to other Jeep owners that have had the same issue and it had nothing to do with the tires. The solution from the dealers perspective is "replace all four tires" (they claim its the Firestone brand of tires) at my expense.

Driving down a street when the Jeep shut down all propulsion systems and sent an error code that the charging system would not work. We moved safely to the side of the road, restarted the Jeep, and drove home with no error lights. The next day, the Jeep threw error codes again upon startup. We took to the dealer who is analyzing.

STEERING
When the vehicle had 6000 miles it was taken in twice for the death wobble and had parts replaced. It continues to experience the death wobble in cold temperatures to a point of severe inability to control. The dealer will not honor the warranty and factory wants to charge 200 dollars to diagnose for a third time. Even though they are totally aware of the issue.

Drivers sun visor broke off while driving on November 2023 on a 2021 Jeep. I was driving at a residential area going 30mph. Dealership fixed it and assessed it as a safety issue. I brushed off the incident and considered it as normal wear and tear. Then in April 2024 the passenger sun visor broke off. I was on the interstate driving 70mph. I seldom carry passengers and when I do it's mostly after sunset. In both cases, we simply flipped visor down and it broke off. The roads were smooth both times. I went online to search for recalls but instead found many forums experiencing the same issue and suggesting to buy a 3rd party sun visor repair kit.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
I was slowly pulling into a parking spot and slowly removed my foot from the break with the jeep catapulted forward nearly hitting the car parked alongside. Had to hit the brakes so hard, tires screeched. It happened again several more times while slowing down or stopped at intersections. Have had to hit the brakes with both feet almost standing on brake. No warning or notifications. It feels almost as if accelerator has more power than brake.

A vehicle cross my path required full application of braking, locking all 4 wheels. During this event, the automatic ignition shutoff (AIS) was enabled. As a result of AIS and the lack of ABS, and, hence a 4 wheel lock-up, the AIS shutoff the engine, causing loss of power steering and power brakes. The resulting vehicle behavior required immediate and severe steering wheel correction with substantial additional force to prevent a collision with the vehicle in my path. Had I not previously had driver safety training as well as significant high performace driving experience I likley would have collided with the other vehicle. My assertion is the combination of AIS and the lack of ABS resulting in 4 wheel lock may had led to a collision resulting in sever injury to the other driver.

The contract owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the vehicle was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V787000 (Electrical System), where the high voltage battery pack software and other updates were updated. The contact stated that after receiving the repair the vehicle started to run rough while driving at various speeds. The contact stated that the charging indicator was fluctuating, the RPM was fluctuating, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle also ran rough while attempting to accelerate. The power would fail, and the vehicle would restart while driving at various speeds. The vehicle had been taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the battery had failed. The dealer performed more software updates; however, the failure persisted. The dealer stated that the battery pack assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired due to the dealer waiting for parts to be available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 34,000.

STEERING, SUSPENSION
This vehicle continues to have "Death Wobble" (violent shaking of stearing & suspension) when driving at or above 55 mph speeds. The current odometer mileage of vehicle is approximately 23,500 miles. The problem first occurred at around 9,000 miles at highway speeds. The dealer was promptly contacted and a replacement steering dampener was installed. The problem has returned at even lower speeds under any number of normal driving conditions. Problem occurs when tires cross any road boundary, road inconsistencies, or pavement changes at speed 55+ mph. The immediate sensation that stearing is failing or falling apart is only mitigated by immediate deceleration. This is extremely unsafe when attempting to maintain flow of traffic speeds on freeways or other roads. Stellantis, FCA, Jeep, etc. Has attempted to band-aid this problem by providing steering dampener replacement when harmonic vibration amplification is the main problem, based on various inerworkings of the deficient suspension & steering components on newer vehicles. This Jeep has not been modified in any way from factory settings and configurations. Work has ONLY been performed on the vehicle by certified jeep technicians.

POWER TRAIN
There has been an open recall 19A/NHTSA 23V-116 on my vehicle's CLUTCH since February of 2023. Last summer (2023) a dealer told me they didn't know when the part would be available. Last week another dealer told me the same thing and that he had seen some clutches on the JL Wrangler fail. This is a significant risk to me because I take this vehicle on off road trails with features require frequent and sometimes prolonged use of the clutch. The manufacturer, Stellantis/FCA, has exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall remedy What's incredible to me is that in July 2015 NHTSA issued a consent order because FCA was failing to address over 20 recalls in a reasonable amount of time, and here they are doing the same thing!
