My ABS control modual went out 14 months ago and no replacement part has been available at any jeep dealership. They state that this part is on extended back order. I have spent months trying to get this replacement. I believe it should be a recall. It not safe to have thousands of jeeps from year 2012 to 2020 on the road with non functioning ABS control moduals.

I am filing this complaint regarding a known safety defect affecting my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara (VIN: [XXX] ) - specifically the steering damper column defect commonly referred to as "Death Wobble." ISSUE: My vehicle experiences violent and uncontrollable steering wheel oscillation when hitting bumps or road imperfections at highway speeds (typically above 55 mph). This phenomenon causes the entire front end to shake violently, requiring me to immediately slow down to regain control of the vehicle. This poses an extreme safety risk to myself, my passengers, and other motorists. DIAGNOSIS: A certified mechanic has diagnosed my vehicle with steering damper failure - the exact same defect addressed in Customer Satisfaction Notification V41 issued by FCA in June 2019. THE PROBLEM: While FCA issued CSN V41 covering approximately 192,000 2018-2019 Jeep Wranglers for steering damper defects, my VIN was arbitrarily excluded from this notification despite experiencing the identical safety defect. FCA selectively applied the remedy to certain VINs rather than addressing all affected vehicles from these model years. SAFETY CONCERNS: This defect creates loss of vehicle control at highway speeds, significantly increasing crash risk. The NHTSA investigation (PE19-012) identified frame weld quality deficiencies and steering-related defects in 2018-2019 Wranglers affecting approximately 270,000 vehicles. Multiple investigations have documented steering looseness, steering wobble/shimmy, and loss of steering control in these model years. MANUFACTURER REFUSAL: Despite the known defect and my vehicle exhibiting the exact symptoms addressed in CSN V41, Jeep/Stellantis refuses to repair this safety issue under warranty, forcing me to bear the financial burden for a known manufacturing defect. REQUEST: I request NHTSA investigate why FCA limited CSN V41 to select VINs when the defect clearly affects a broader population of 2018-2019 Wranglers, and mandate a comprehensi INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATIO

The ABS Module failed. The ABS now doesn't function. From what I have been told by multiple dealers Chrysler/Jeep is no longer manufacturing this replacement part. How can they get away with not providing replacement parts?

Airbag Clock spring has failed in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The airbag dash light is now on and the whole steering wheel system no longer functions properly. I see there was a documented recall for this year/model. It’s not showing on my VIN. The clock spring has failed in my vehicle.

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that the transmission failed to properly engage. The contact was able to move the gear shift lever from park(P) to reverse(R), however, the transmission failed to respond as intended. The gear indicator flashed on the instrument panel. The contact turned off the vehicle and waited for several minutes before restarting the vehicle, and the transmission responded as needed. The contact stated that on other occasions, after the vehicle was stopped at a traffic light or stop sign, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. The message “Service Transmission” was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to a transmission specialty shop, where it was diagnosed, and DTC: P0733 was retrieved. The contact was informed that the failure was with the third gear in the transmission. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was driven to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the vehicle remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact related the failure to Technical Service Bulletin: 21-009-25. The manufacturer suggested that the vehicle be taken to the dealer for an inspection, and depending on the findings, the manufacturer might assist with the cost of the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.

.I am submitting this complaint regarding the handling of two safety recalls affecting my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door 4xe, which I learned about through my “November Vehicle Health Report” email on November 22, 2025. Since then, I have been in ongoing communication with Jeep, Chrysler Customer Care, and Mopar; however, they have not provided sufficient guidance. 1) Recall 68C: The Vehicle Health Report included a link to the FCA recall notice advising owners to “refrain from recharging” and to “park away from structures and other vehicles.” Chrysler emailed on November 26 offering a 30-day rental reimbursement tied only to Recall 68C, but the amount does not cover an equivalent or safe winter-capable vehicle for our region. 2) Recall 78C: I have been unable to obtain clear information regarding Recall 78C. The Vehicle Health Report included minimal details and no link to the FCA documentation. I found the Part 573 Safety Recall Report (25V766) on the NHTSA website while trying to determine if the vehicle was safe to drive. Chrysler Customer Care repeatedly avoids answering whether a “do not drive” advisory exists for 78C and continually redirects me to the 68C guidance. The NHTSA representative I spoke with was also unsure why Chrysler did not select either advisory checkbox (Do Not Drive / Park Outside) on page 3 of the 78C report, leaving owners without essential guidance. 3) Impact on Safety and Daily Life: My household relies on a single vehicle. With no safety guidance for 78C and an engine warning light that appeared on October 3, 2025—along with electric mode not functioning that day, which required service at the Jeep dealership—we determined it was safest not to drive the vehicle. We have now been without transportation for seven days. We kindly ask NHTSA to help us (and other customers) secure clear 78C safety guidance and an equivalent transportation solution until the recall is resolved.

- #11701904November 28, 2025ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, UNKNOWN OR OTHER, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe has two serious safety recalls: A7C and 68C. Recall A7C states the vehicle may lose propulsion while driving, which can cause a crash without warning. Recall 68C states the high-voltage battery may be damaged during normal use and may cause a vehicle fire. Jeep instructs owners to not charge the vehicle and to park away from structures. The manufacturer states that no remedy is available for either recall. This makes the vehicle unsafe to drive, unsafe to park at home, and unusable as designed. The manufacturer has provided no timeline for repair. This is an unresolved, dangerous safety hazard.

I took my JEEP to the dealer because it was making a rubbing sound. They told me the rear end and differential where out and needed replaced. Originally the parts were on a 45 day backorder. 3 months later the parts on still on back order. I notified Jeep customer service, my case manager said the parts may be available Dec. 19th. There is a high demand for these parts and that there are not enough available.

I am filing a safety complaint regarding my leased 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, VIN [XXX] , manufactured by JEEP, leased through Stellantis. This vehicle is under an active recall for a battery-related fire risk. I have been informed by the dealership and the manufacturer that no repair or fix is currently available, potentially until next year. Despite this, the OEM states the vehicle is “safe to drive” while also instructing me not to park the vehicle indoors, near other vehicles, or near structures due to the risk of fire. This guidance is contradictory and makes normal use of the vehicle unsafe and impractical. I must drive to work and park near other vehicles and buildings, which the manufacturer says not to do. In addition, the vehicle also has an unresolved airbag recall with no fix available. The vehicle is leased, yet I have been told I cannot exchange the vehicle or exit the lease without paying the full remaining term, even though the vehicle cannot be safely used as intended and has no available remedy. I am requesting that NHTSA review whether a vehicle that may catch fire and cannot be safely parked should be considered safe to operate, and whether interim consumer protections or remedies should be required when no repair exists. Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX] ) has three active recalls with no available remedy. My vehicle has shut down three times while driving, exactly matching the safety defects described in Recall 25V-710, which warns of sudden loss of propulsion. Recalls 25V-741 and 25V-766 warn of potential fire and catastrophic engine failure. Jeep/Stellantis refused to provide a safe remedy or replacement without charging me. The car is unsafe to drive and unsafe to park near my home. Request NHTSA intervention. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

While driving, the vehicle lost complete power and there was no way to control movement. This event has occurred three times. Two of the events were while manuvering into parking, the third was while moving at speed approximately 40-50mph. There has been no warning lamp or warning of any kind before the occurance. This problem seems to be in relation to the A7C recall that currently has no remedy.
