UAS and UCS Radio Enhancements Customers may experience one or more of the following: **Wi-Fi hotspot connection failure. Speaker popping, crackle noise during Voice Recognition (VR) response and navigation guidance. Mobile Station Integrated Services Digital Network (MSISDN) missing from radio, no connected services working.** Wireless connectivity pairing and/or connection issues. Lost radio presets. Radio channels change by itself. SXMT icon inoperative. SXMT favorite song not displaying/playing. High pitch squeal, pop or hum noise from speakers. Anti-theft code request message. Lines appear across screen. Radio will not switch modes between AM, FM, SAT or Media. Performance control home screen shows ?Norm? mode for engine/transmission even when the vehicle is in ?Drag? mode (LA, LD, LX only). Can not change the time on the clock (LA, LD and LX only). USB hub inoperable (D-Trucks only). Backup camera gridlines missing (D-Trucks only). Device not supported message (D-Trucks only). Remote app inoperative (D-Trucks only). Unable to adjust volume (D-Trucks only). Heated steering wheel inoperable (D-Trucks only). In addition, the following enhancement are included in this update: CarplayT connectivity improvements. Improvement to wireless connectivity phone pairing. Improved sound quality when using a wireless connectivity phone. **This bulletin involves inspecting and if required, updating the radio software level to 40.1. Depending on the radio?s current software level the radio may need a one or two USB update.**

Radio Over The Air R141.01.12, 139.01.53, 136.10.04 to R145.00.15 Software Version Updates This bulletin provides information regarding the latest Firmware Over The Air (FOTA)update and provides the service technician an overview of the steps a customer will need to take to complete the update. The radio softwarewill be updated from R141.01.12, 139.01.53, 136.10.04 to R145.00.15.The national launch for the FOTA is expected to begin August 19, 2022. Customers may experience one or more of the following: Radio wireless connectivity Inoperative. Screen Lockup, Slow Response (rear view camera still operable). Caller cannot hear the driver and/or driver cannot hear the caller. Cannot switch stations after a call, lockup due to the phone remaining onthe call. Radio displays ?Code Error? or ?Lockup In Accessory Mode?. Display shows a black screen on start up (rear view camera still operable). SXM® presets are lost for all profiles. SXM® has no volume and stuck on channel. Radio does not allow BUS to go to sleep. Android® auto not connecting on vehicle start up. When radio is in light theme mode and in audio Balance/Fade menu, it ishard to see the position icon. Black on black coloring. Black out on SXM® after switching Profiles. During connecting phone radio does not handle audio source correctly whenmaking a phone call. Climate buttons out of place and move to settle in correct location. In the shortcuts menu pulled down from the status bar, the right side arrow is highlighted as if it canbe selected. Presets with "Hold to Save"" numbered above 9 have text cutoff. Profile edit not allowed while in movement for "Memory Seat". While switching between Driver Profiles, Phone Notification Volume popsup. Inconsistently Siri® assistance. Compass does not work. Wireless device echo. Satellite antenna error message. Display flickers before SXM® background displayed. Flash: Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) Updates This bulletin involves updating the HCP with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find one or more ofthe following DTCs have been set: U0402-00 - Implausible Data Received From TCM. P1C64 - Hybrid Perf - Engine Speed Below Target During Autostart. In addition, the following software enhancement is available: Engine Stop/Start (ESS) improvements - Improvements to make ESS more smooth/consistent. Customers may complain of rough or inconsistentautostarts. The customer may also describe one or more of the following: Coast down engine idle improvements (related to two-foot driving below 19kph (12 mph). During an ESS event, the autostart fails and the AutoPark engages. Transmission is in Limp Mode.
