SummarySWITCH Headlamp Before replacing the Headlamp Switch for faulty dimmer operation. Please follow the next steps to corroborate if the Headlamp Switch is malfunctioning: 1.- Please disconnect and reconnect the headlamp Switch. And verify if the issue is corrected. 2.- Review the internal resistance of the switch: a.- For the Right Dimmer (IP) between Pins 6 & 3. The value should be around 5.74 KOhms, when in the lowest position to 311 ohms in the top position (Parade Detent). b.- For the left Dimmer (Ambient Light) between pins 8 & 3. The value should be around 14.52 KOhms, when in the lowest position to 182 ohms in the top position. If a problem is found in the resistor values. Please replace the Switch.

If no physical issue identified, move to next steps. 2.- Make sure the switch harness is properly connected, disconnect the switch and reconnect it, and reverify the issue. 3.- Check for what DTC are detected and take proper steps. 4.- Review the internal resistance of the switch to corroborate if it is shorted: a) Between Pins 10&2 it should be around 13ohms +/- 4ohms b) Between Pins 3 & 4 and 4 & 6, 160 ohms +/-10 Ohms If a problem is found in the resistor values. SummaryRear Selective Thrust Washer Failure This is a proactive RSU Repair Procedure to be performed for all Unsold vehicles not exhibiting any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) or Customer Symptoms. The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) should not be illuminated. If a customer’s VIN is listed in your RSU VIN list, does not have the MIL illuminated and does not exhibit any customer symptom/conditions, perform the repair. For all other vehicles with the MIL illuminated or exhibiting any customer symptoms/conditions, this service action does not apply. Please follow normal diagnostic and repair procedures. This bulletin involves replacing the transmission 4C clutch hub/reaction sun gear assembly and the 4C clutch hub/reaction sun gear assembly rear selective thrust plate/shim. VINs identified as being involved in this campaign are currently live and searchable. Stop Sale is in effect for the above-identified vehicles. NOTE: Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer new vehicle inventory. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process."
