SERVICE BRAKES
October 2023 my brake on the drivers side ruptured that let to the master cylinder. Lost brake pressure and all brake fluid resulting in no braking ability at all. May 9th 2024 took my vehicle for scheduled maintenance and was told vehicle was in excellent condition. 20 days later the brake line on the passenger side ruptured leading to the master cylinder resulting brake fluid leakage and no brake performance. This issue is a previous recall and should be reinstated. I've spent twelve hundred dollars on repairs for an issue that publicized as an open recall. I could have lost my life and Buick GMC refuse to do anything about it.

UNKNOWN OR OTHER, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Not safety, but GM recalled 2021Trailblazers to replace Evap Purge Pumps on vehicles showing check engine light resulting in bad purge pump diagnosis. Why only Trailblazers? I recently had to replace one on my 2021Envision at 37,588 miles after my check engine light came on. Fortunately I bought the extended insurance when I purchased my new vehicle and only paid the $100 deductible. Otherwise it would have cost me $404. If they knew of problems for that year, why not send out letters to other owners of GM vehicles? Thank you. POWER TRAIN
When I am accelerating at a faster pace, always at 40 mph, my vehicle will start to shake. I have tested it several times now getting onto the interstate, it becomes an issue on the "on ramp" because I have to release the acceleration pedal and then very slowly get up to speed which causes me to not be able to get close enough to the posted speed while on the interstate which in turn causes other drivers to either slow down or try to move in another lane. I took it to my local Buick dealership (Trecek Automotive of Portage) on 4/29/24. They charged me $172.68 for diagnostics which resulted in this: Test drove. Did not feel shaking at first. The harder the vehicle was accelerated, the worse the shaking got. Recommend replacing front CV axle shafts. Cost approx. $1300. At the same time, I had a leak in the left rear axle seal which luckily was under warranty and was replaced. My 2017 Buick Envision has only 56,000 miles on it.

The contact owns a 2020 Buick Envision. The contact stated that the front driver's side seat belt failed to extend and was inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed. The dealer informed the contact that the front driver's side seat belt ratchet was abnormally opened, causing the air bag module to fail. The dealer determined that the front driver's side seat belt assembly and the front driver's side air bag module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 82,910. The VIN was not available.

SERVICE BRAKES
2023 Buick Envision. Brakes failed. This was a new car driven 1k miles. There was no warning notification, no alert and no dashboard lights prior to this incident. Of course I had expected the normal brake resistance when I stepped on the pedal. Instead, my foot sunk closer to the floor. I pressed the pedal as hard as I could a few times until it slowed to a stop. I do not drive fast so this was to my advantage. I was later told that the Allstate Milewise device that I had been using was not recommended but in this case it was not a factor. The service manager shared documentation that there was potential system conflicts with this. This was not disclosed to me with my 2020 Envision. Therefore, I continued to use it in the 2023 vehicle. I forwarded the information to Allstate, so they could investigate further. I received call back saying to return the device and find alternative insurance options. When I was told to pick up my car, I asked what was found to cause the brake failure and to highlight the fix in the receipt. A reset of the software was the final fix: LOOKS LIKE ALL MODULES ON CAN BUS 2 LOST BRAKE CONTROL MODULE TESTED CHARGING SYSTEM WITH THE DCBS AND PASSED PERFORMED GLOBAL RESET SCANNED ALL MODULES DID FIND UPDATE FOR THE SERIAL DATA GATEWAY UPDATE MODULE 45YY212842554” I was told that until this happens again that is all they can do.

The vacuum pump failed, causing the gear to explode, which in turn damaged the cam shaft. Yes, this is available for inspection. The brake was unable to be depressed, requiring extreme force to being able to safely stop at an area that was safe to do so. I turned the car off and it made a funny sound. When I tried to start the car, it would no longer start. The car was towed to my local auto mechanic and then to the closest Buick dealership. The dealership diagnosed the problem outlined above. No warning lights.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The Instrument Panel Cluster failed and is completely gone black. Due to the failure, there is no speedometer, or other safety notifications being delivered to the driver. The lack of knowing your current speed, the speed cruise control is set at, along with zero safety notifications is a huge safety issue for the driver and passengers, other vehicles on the road and pedestrians, etc. All of the alert features failed, including the forward collision warning, parking collision warning, lane keeping assistance, etc. The component was inspected by the GMC dealer's shop the vehicle was purchased through, along with another GMC certified shop. There were zero warning lamps, message or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. After reading numerous on-line Buick/GMC forums, it appears this same issue has been prolonged and on-going across multiple Buick years, makes and models.

Got in the vehicle to start the engine and the instrument cluster stop showing all readings of the gauges would not display the screen blacked out and none of the gauges were working. There were no warnings lamps or nothing out the ordinary the instrument cluster just went out. This is the first time it has ever done this.

GM is out of control . I have a front passenger control arm assembly in the shop for 2 months. No update on service part because they have changed the part number as the 2016 is unsafe. I need my service part or a new car . It's unsafe to drive and GM will not provide any update on ETW because there is a safety issue with this part. They already killed over 100 people from the ignition switch problem. Cruise dragged a person under a self driving taxi. Hold them accountable for once. They are an un responsible company. Help me as I have no car and my car is unsafe to drive.

The contact owns a 2022 Buick Envision. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 MPH and coming to a red light, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to stop immediately. The contact shifted to neutral before the vehicle came to a complete stop. The engine continued to rev abnormally as if the vehicle was accelerating. After several minutes, the engine stopped revving excessively, and the contact was able to continue driving. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that excessive force was needed to depress the brake pedal. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 21,000.

SERVICE BRAKES
This is the second time my brake line has cracked and started leaking brake fluid without any warnings from my dashboard that my brake fluid was low. First time was [XXX] and this time is [XXX] it's only a matter of time before the back ones fail. I hope and pray that I don't be driving cause I don't want to hurt anyone or myself. General motors knows about this problem on the 2016 Buick envision but my vin don't fall under the recall. They only recalled three hundred and something vehicle for this problem out of all the suv they have manufactured. I am not sure if any of the other vehicles in the Gm family is affected by this but in my opinion all of these [XXX] China built vehicle should be recalled for as something as brakes lines defects. I would say put an after market one on your vehicle they may be safer but I am not sure. I will never ever buy another General motors vehicle. They don't care about humans life. Who ever reads this I hope you get your vehicle checked or switch out your brake lines with another brand don't use AC Delco at all. Cheap [XXX] parts. First time my vehicle had only 50000 miles I will stick to ford vehicle their parts lasted on my car for almost 200000 thousand miles and my brake lines or clippers never failed. If it wasn't for someone crashing into and totalling my vehicle ain't no telling how long it would have lasted. It had 201000 miles never no engine or transmission problems at all. It was built ford tough. Also my coolant temperature sensor went out at about 45000 miles never had that problem on my 2011 ford fusion at all still had the original one on it and worked fine. When I push on the accelerator the car hesitates and then surges forward. I took the vehicle to the dealership where they recreated the problem however it was not throwing any codes. After examination they determined that the problem was turbo lag. I was advised to continue driving the car as usual until it throws a code or turbo fails. I believe that the vehicle randomly hesitating could leave you stranded in an intersection with oncoming traffic, and when if surges puts you at risk for a rear end collision. When I asked the service rep what will happen if the turbo fails, she said pull over and call on-star. I'll be traveling through the mountains for the holidays, it worries me that if the turbo fails I could be stuck on the side of the road in winter weather.

The contact stated that while his wife was driving at slow speeds in a parking area and attempting to stop with the brake pedal depressed to the floorboard, the vehicle failed to stop as intended. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V922000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 105,000.

The Air Bag, Parking Brake, Traction Control/StabiliTrak/Electonic Stability Control lights all came on while operating my vehicle. The lights did not go off, so I reported to the dealership. They determined it was an internal defect in the Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module. This was not covered under warranty and appears to be a defect in the module. I believe this to be a serious safety concern and recommend a recall of this issue.

SERVICE BRAKES
I was returning home from shopping. As I approached a stop sign, I applied the brakes and the brake pedal went completely to the floor: Fortunately, I was able to stop before entering the intersection. I had the vehicle towed to a nearby Buick dealer to determine the cause of the brake failure. I was told the left front brake line had a hole in it causing total loss of brake fluid - cause unknown. There were no warning lamps or other symptoms of the problem prior to the brake failure. The brake line was replaced by the dealer at significant cost to me.

The contact owns a 2023 Buick Envision. The contact stated that upon purchasing the vehicle, the park assist sensor had not been installed in the vehicle. The contact was informed by the dealer that a letter would be sent once the sensor was available; however, the contact had not yet received the letter. Both the dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the issue and confirmed that the sensor was still unavailable. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50.
