ENGINE
When driving down the road, randomly the vehicle will derate and allow for 20 mph max for a short time, at times during this "derate" section, the vehicle will apply the park brake and shut off. I took the issue to the dealership, advised me to replace injector. Replaced one injector, brought home had same issue, over fueling on 2 separate injectors, installed all 7 remaining injectors (at my expense). Issue still arises. Brought back to the repairing dealer, plugged computer in, different error code arose, made an appointment to bring back on the following week. Drove 2 miles down the highway, unit would not drive over "limp mode" Service manager drove it confirming issues, had loaner car for several weeks, tried trading it in, dealership would offer me half of what paid 6 months prior. After some research, this is a known issue with this model vehicle and there is a "stop sale" on the part. Gave loaner vehicle back to dealership, continue to drive my Ram 1500 with known issue and random shutting down. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
The digital instrument cluster failed. All telemetry is shown on this cluster including speed, fuel level, rpm, odometer and more. The cluster was going totally black every two minutes and it would disable cruise, lane departure warning, blind spot warning and the check engine light was on. There was no indication prior that there was a problem, it just all of a sudden went black and beeped. Then it would come back after 5 seconds and do it again two minutes later. Also my odometer wasn't working or updating the miles. The dealer confirmed the cluster needed to be replaced. It sat at the dealer for 96 days before the repair was made.

Vehicle has been to the dealer numerous times they’ve changed the batteries. The truck will not start after it sits for 24 hours. The batteries are dead. Chrysler will not do anything about it. The dealership doesn’t know how to fix it. It’s been at the dealership on and off for almost 3 months now getting no answers or satisfaction. Truck is brand new.

Purchased vehicle [XXX]. Vehicle power steering quit working on [XXX], Dealership stated power steering control module rack is not working. Service department said vehicle not safe too drive . I have been driving rental since September 2,2025. When the steering quit warning lights did function, on lane assist, park assist. The gas tank will not take fuel. Tried multiple pumps at multiple gas stations and the pump keeps turning off. You have to keep restarting the pump over and over again. If you look it up online, there are hundreds of people having the same issue and most cases seem to be a faulty rollover valve, the filler neck itself or a complete replacement of the gas tank. If someone isn’t monitoring the fuel level with the ignition on and they keep restarting the pump, they may over fill the tank and pump gas on the vehicle or themselves which is hazardous and could be potentially fatal.

The RFH module is defective for the year and has already been replaced by a new model. When the module goes bad it can leave you stranded because it runs the security section of the computer. The computer will not recognize the key fobs, and the car can shut off and not restart leaving you stranded. Mechanic also informed me that it could also cause issues during driving not just when you stopped. The main warning lamp is the check engine light will illuminate and will throw a code for ECU not initializing.

SERVICE BRAKES
My ABS, Traction Control, and Brake light came on. Having my vehicle scanned at a couple of shops, the error message is C2200-49 which is tied to the Anti-Lock Brake System Module - Internal Electronic Failure. Retailers like Autozone, Advance Autoparts, nor O'Riellys do not have the part. I've researched it and it's not just my vehicle. There are a ton of people who are having this same issue. I've shopped multiple online retailers; many say they have it until you order it. Then you get a message stating that the ordered part has been discontinued or is backordered with no eta by the manufacturer. I've even tried having the part refurbished with no luck. It seems that Mopar has stopped making the part and there is no timeline for replacement or fix.

STEERING
I was getting ready to leave for work and was unable to because my steering wheel was completely locked up. Red steering wheel light flashing and message saying service power steering. The issue seems to fall under the recall on a limited number of RAM 1500s for the faulty EPS system, however mine was not included in that recall for some reason. I’m thankful I never left my driveway and it didn’t happen while driving because that would put myself and others in danger or even worse my children in danger as they ride in this truck with me on a daily basis. Chrysler needs to make this right and recall and fix the issue with the steering. I have read through countless complaints of the same issue.

The tensioner pulley seized up causing the serpentine belt to break and taking the MGU E Torque Alternator out. We have learned that there are no MGU parts available and we are one of 4000 waiting with no ETA available. You can’t buy a used one as they can not be reprogrammed to a different truck.

Problem Description: Beginning in early 2025, the vehicle started experiencing intermittent electrical malfunctions that cause it to lose power unexpectedly while driving. The issue occurs without warning, creating a significant safety hazard for both the driver and other motorists. The vehicle has been taken to an authorized Ram service center on four separate occasions (February 2025, July 2025, September 2025, and October 2025), but the problem has not been resolved. Each time, the service center has been unable to identify or repair the root cause. The vehicle is still under an active Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan (Account#[XXX]), and all service has been performed at Commonwealth Dodge in Louisville, Kentucky. Despite these multiple repair attempts, the truck continues to lose power intermittently, making it unreliable and unsafe to operate. On 10\09\2025 I was backing into a parking spot and when I was trying to adjust the position of the vehicle the power steering failed as I was backing up. After the power steering failed to work, the Power Steering Light appeared on the Dashboard. This is the first time this has happened. The safety issue is if I was going around a corner on the steering failed, my kids and I would probably be dead right now. Yes we live off a windy road. I left the truck parked at the shopping center overnight & it was towed to an Auto repair center locally. They told me to take it to the Dodge Dealership. The vehicle was towed to Pedder Dodge Chrysler on 10\10\2025. It is available for inspection.

So those problem has been reported and delt with but continued ongoing investigations for my vehicle. I have a 2015 ram 1500 that at 100,000miles and now experiencing issues with my steering. Have ran vin and no outstanding recalls. My problem is almost like the eps stops working for brief seconds while turning at slower speeds. The problem comes and goes, no noises, lights or codes just physical hard to personally steer my truck at times.

Bought 2025 Dodge Ram on 9/9/24. Since then I have had it into the shop 10+ times. There is a check engine light that comes on. Engine runs VERY rough and erratic. Had issues driving away from a stop light, chugging, lack of power. Making a left hand turn is taking my life in my hands! Each time at the dealership, they run the codes. P0300 is the primary. They just say its a known issue. Manufacture is working on it. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR NOW!! They have never actually done anything to the vehicle other than run diagnostics and turn off the light. In fact the last time I picked up the vehicle 9/12/25, they didn't even turn off the light. Tech said, "whats the point?" I have elevated this with the manufacture Case94136984. There reply was that its not dangerous and a fix is coming. Have you ever tried to make a left hand turn and the truck stops and starts chugging??? Even the dealership stated this IS a safety concern. Question of the day: This is a 2025 Dodge Ram. Are they STILL selling these vehicles with this known issue??? If they have fixed it in new sells, then FIX MINE! I have records of each time the light has come on, had it into the dealership, and been turned away because "there's nothing we can do, Dodge wont let us do more"

The ABS module has an "internal electrical fault" rendering the ABS and traction control on my Ram 1500 inoperable. The replacement part 68228991AD has been on back order and therefore unrepairable at the dealer for over a year and a half making my truck unsafe and Chrysler hasn't done anything to make the parts more available.

STEERING
While driving my truck lost all power steering. The truck was controllable but with a LOT of force. My wife would not have been able to steer had she been driving. I understand that this is not an uncommon failure. My trunk is a 2013 model but only has 10,770 mile, and was always garaged. I am a retired auto mechanic and a friend that is still active inspected the truck and said it was the steering module. that is not replaceable separately the entire steering assembly must be replaced. I noticed the steering warning after the failure. I am not sure if it was on before the failure. * note * at low speed it was all I could do to turn the wheel, and I am 6'1" and 205 lbs.

The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available.
