SummaryCOOLANT SERVICE PROCEDURE SERVICE INFORMATION When draining and refilling the vehicleâs coolant for any reason, refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) to ensure that the correct service procedure is being used, and that all air pockets have been completely purged. When refilling the cooling system, use Genuine Nissan BLUE LONG LIFE ANTIFREEZE or its equivalent, mixed with water that is distilled or demineralized. ï· Refer to the ESM: ENGINE > ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM > KR15DDT > PERIODIC MAINTENANCE > ENGINE COOLANT > Refilling NOTICE Do not put additives such as water leak preventive, since it may cause cooling waterway clogging.

Summary12 VOLT BATTERY TESTING FOR IN-SERVICE VEHICLES SERVICE INFORMATION The following Service Information lists NNA procedural recommendations for establishing good connections while performing 12V battery testing. These recommendations are expected to promote uniformity during the connection process, therefore reducing the number of incorrect âTest with DCAâ and âReplaceâ results. HINT: If 12 volt batteries are allowed to discharge for a prolonged period of time, battery life may be drastically reduced. This condition may lead to premature battery replacement and customer dissatisfaction. IMPORTANT: ï· CPX-900 is now an accepted testing tool to use along with or in place of the DSS-5000 ï· CPX-900 operating instructions are found at: https://nissancpx900.midtronics.com/ ï· DSS-5000 operating instructions are found at: https://nissandss5000.midtronics.com/ ï· DCA-8000 is now a required testing tool to be used for all warranty replacement decisions. The DCA-8000 is also a more efficient charger than previously available, and will charge any available 12 volt lead acid battery safely and accurately as long as all precautions and inputs are made correctly. These warning labels instruct on use of a special part kit for future service needs. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality hold using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC936 ⢠New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ⢠Some vehicles may still be in transit. Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for Quality Action applicability. 2. Please do not drive, loan, rent, sell or trade the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality action. 3.
