SummaryUnderhood Switching Module (USM) Configuration Voluntary Service Campaign *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is conducting a service campaign on certain specific MY2021-2023 Nissan Rogue vehicles identified in Service Comm and National Service History â Open Campaigns. On affected vehicles, the Underhood Switching Module (USM, also known as IPDM) configuration for the Electrical Energy Management (EEM) may lead to a vehicle no-start condition. Dealers will update the configuration of the USM. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this service campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. P3A28 ⢠New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ⢠Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. If a retailed vehicle affected by this Campaign ID visits the dealer for service, the dealer should inform the customer about the service campaign and communicate that the updated configuration is available. 3. Once remedied, dealers should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed in Service Comm and release the vehicle to the customer.

This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number P3A28 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory.

Summary2014-2020 ROGUE & 2017-2022 ROGUE SPORT; REPLACEMENT JACKKNIFE (FLIP STYLE) KEYS SERVICE INFORMATION For the APPLIED VEHICLES listed above: ï· If the jackknife key is replaced with 80560-4BA1E, the new part provided will no longer be equipped with a key blade. ï· New service parts will have a keyless entry remote with a separate mechanical key. ï· Each vehicle can have a maximum of four (4) keys registered to the BCM. Each service part contains one (1) key and one (1) remote and will use two (2) of the available slots. ï· Follow the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 2 to register the new mechanical key and remote.
