This may be due to the driver placing their hand on the interior front door handle and inadvertently pushing the manual door lock toggle into the lock position. If the lock and latching mechanisms are functioning normally, and if there are no related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) or other issues identified, then the system is operating as designed.
