2022 Chevy Tahoe Z71. Sunroof leaked about 6 months after purchase. Could hear water sloshing overhead and then water came out of several places inside vehicle; a/c vents for 2nd and 3rd row, front wheel wells and seatbelt housings. Carpet and seats were soaked and after 2 more times in a week vehicle smelled like mold. Dealer had it in to inspect and said the drains were kinked and clogged. They had vehicle for 3 weeks and fixed drains and replaced headliner and carpet. Now, almost 2 years later, same exact thing is happening.

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving or while parked, and attempting to depress the brake pedal, the brake pedal was very stiff and difficult to depress. The ABS warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V645000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The contact stated the vehicle was previously repaired under the recall several years ago. However, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000.

I am experiencing loss of power just like the recall shows for campaign 22V036000 powertrain. Engine stall in the middle of the street just like it shows for the fuel system 21V73 9000. I have stalled in the middle of the street including today four times and a month. The dealership can’t seem to find what’s wrong. Nor other places. I don’t think they are looking hard enough at the dealership. I almost got killed by another car going at least 65 mph while I was stuck in the middle of the street at a stoplight. These are all different days. While working and people in my car.

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated while attempting to start the vehicle, the contact noticed a failure with the gear shifter. The contact stated that the gear shifter remained in neutral and failed to shift to any other gear. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle, but the failure persisted with the check engine warning light illuminated. The dealer was not contacted, and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 127,666.

POWER TRAIN
In 2022, I had to have cylinders 1-7 replaced. At the time, these vehicles were known to have transmission problems. My vehicle was 3,000 over warranty and Chevy denied any fault and only reimbursed me half of the $1500 to get replaced. Today, my complete transmission failed. Two years later. Chevy denied any fault regardless of lawsuits filed. Is going to cost $6300 for total replacement. I have NEVER in my life had transmission issues on a vehicle--especially so early in the life of the vehicle. The car almost left me stranded on the side of the interstate. Chevy knows about this problem and will not make good on a vehicle I paid over $60000 for.

the vehicles have a serious defect that causes the air conditioning systems to crack and leak refrigerant, lose pressure, and fail to function properly to provide cooled air into the vehicles. These failures lead owners and lessees to incur significant costs for repair, often successive repairs as the repaired parts prove defective as well. As summer temperatures in many regions soar into triple digits, this leaves Escalade, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe, Silverado, Sierra and Yukon owners with vehicles they say are undriveable due to concerns about child, pet, and driver safety. I would hope GM will cover this AC problem since I am just outside of my certified warranty and have kept up with all maintenance requirements per manual. See link below that I have found to be a common problem with the condenser. I am not a happy customer here, definitely deters me from buying another Chevy/GMC if GM does not cover the cost under warranty. Per link below you have to constantly contact GM to argue this common problem to get them to agree to cover it. I had it diagnosed by Hoselton Fairport NY last Tuesday, they wanted $400 just to touch my AC to start the diagnosis and to put a $40 can of Freon in it. It didn’t hold after 3 days. I had my brakes done. 2019 Chevy Tahoe. Also lawsuits going on about faulty condenser. If anyone else has this issue I would definitely suggest contacting GM CS before forking over $1200+. I was driving to work today and I heard what sounded like an explosion, so I stopped and pulled to the side of the road and checked everything and I seen that the sunroof glass was broken, I have only ever used the sunroof twice and that was to see if it was working. My safety and others on the road were at risk because if I would have had the sunroof sliding shade open the glass would have fell on my head or in my face. Also anyone driving behind me I'm sure the glass flew on their vehicle and could caused an accident. I got to work and called the local Chevrolet dealership in town and they said there were no recalls for this problem, but yet I looked it up under GMC forums and there has been other people saying it happened to them, especially the same year and make and model. My vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or insurance yet, I reached out to the Chevrolet dealership and they said there was nothing they could do to help because there were no recalls on my vehicle, so I asked the girl in the service department who was higher then her and could help me because I did nothing wrong and did not feel that I should have to pay to fix this problem. She then gave me customer care contact information and I am waiting for a response. There were no warnings or symptoms or any messages on the dash, my sunroof glass just exploded without any warnings.

I was driving down the street and all side airbags deployed out of nowhere, the seats belts that were not occupied locked, the seat belts that were occupied did not lock. The vehicle was able to drive to safety. The back latch would not open to allow me to remove my stroller.

We are submitting complaints for multiple Tahoe's that have stopped during operation causing extreme danger to our staff and other drivers in the city. The cause is always bad fuel pumps and our units have had to have the pumps replaced in some cases multiple times. Check engine light displayed on dash. Vehicle started sputtering and stalled. Had to be towed in to shop.

I contacted Don Mealey Chevrolet in Clairmont Fl and was informed by them they can do air bag recall. But I must sign a waver if the dash crackes in the process they are not responsible for damages and I will have to pay for dash if I want it fixed. Why would I be responsible if this is a recall.I contacted Chevrolet and was informed its a case by case thing and they will not guarantee dash being fixed. Why would I want to chance this.

There’s a modulator in the rear end of my SUV that has been melting near exhaust every since purchased had taken to the dealership it was purchased from and also back to a Chevrolet dealership. At the time my warranty was still on vehicle at both places was told I will have to cover cost. This issue is very defective afraid of a fire being caused. I have small children and this matter needs to be addressed as soon as possible. The dealership states to just tuck it in keep a way from exhaust pipe which is dangerous and impossible to keep away when driving.

When turning left in cross traffic, the truck stalled. It would crank and try to run, but not start as it wasn't getting any gas. The gas tank was full at the time. The failure was very similar to when I was stranded with the fuel issue in 2021 a couple of months before the recall for the fuel pump failure was issued (NTSA # 21V739000). Fortunately, it did start momentarily so that I could get out of oncoming traffic so that I wasn't t-boned. I was able to get it home, but it failed multiple times in the 8 mile trip back to the house. We will not drive this vehicle as it is unsafe to drive and now we are left to tow the vehicle to the closest dealership which is 50+ miles away. It seems this part only works a few years and then fails.

I was parked with engine on idling and the engine shut off. Tried to restart and it started shaking very rough idle, I turned off and tried to restart it would not start, I tried again and it started shaking again and shut off but the displays stayed on in the car. I called the Chevy dealer and had it towed to them. They ran diagnostics and confirmed it was an internal short inside fuel pump driver control module. They replaced and tested functional now. This is the second time they have replaced this part. The first time was last year driving when the engine decelerated and shut off. This is a safety issue and could be hazardous. My concern is this will happen again and I could be put in a very dangerous situation. I saw a bulletin issued for my vehicle with the same type of issue but my vehicle was not recalled to address Product Safety Recall N212332040 Stall While Driving Copyright 2021 General Motors. All Rights Reserved. Page 1 of 4 Release Date: October 2021 I am not sure if this is the same part or another issue.

I writing to complain about the "Trailer Brake" warning light that suddenly appeared on my 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe. After visiting the internet I then saw other complaints about the module on the dash for the trailer brake adjustment having repeated complaints. I have never used the 2020 Chevy Tahoe to tow a trailer that had its own braking system. The only thing I have towed was a small U-Haul Trailer. All the complaints about this module is the same: Warning light on the dash display. If so many other Chevy Tahoe owners have complained ... what hasn't there been a recall for this repeated electrical malfunction?
