The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

my dash is cracked and rattles really bad when driving and sounds like pieces breaking, when i hit bumps in road you can see the dash move and bounce and poses a safety risk if in an accident and airbags go off the pressure can further break dash and send pieces of sharp plastic in the faces of passengers, there is thousands of complaints online and social media about the dashes of chevy and gmc trucks and suvs cracking and in several cases totally breaking apart into pieces due to the faulty cheap materials used to make these dashes. this is a potetial serious and lethal defect if in an a accident and these pieces of plastic go flying into people like shrapnel.

We are submitting complaints for multiple Tahoe's that have stopped during operation causing extreme danger to our staff and other drivers in the city. The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormally strong odor inside the vehicle. The contact stopped the vehicle to complete an inspection of the vehicle. The contact became aware that there was a large fuel leak on the ground. The contact stated that when the vehicle was turned off the fuel leak stopped. The contact stated that fuel only leaked out when the vehicle was running. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The contact researched and discovered TSB: 17-NA-304; however, the contact was informed that the repair could not be covered under the TSB. The failure mileage was approximately 220,000.

POWER TRAIN
At 5000 miles after the last oil change, my low oil light came on, took it to my local mechanic and he said it was 3 quarts low. took it to the dealership and they say this is normal but have me to a check every time i put gas up to 2000 miles. bring it back and they say its one quart low and this is normal. The attendant at the dealership says he sees this often and knows its frustrating but thats GM policy and there is nothing he can do. I do not think this is normal and have searched on the internet and find that many people have this problem. I do hope this is looked into because i feel like this is an issue and GM doesnt want to have to fix it because of cost

THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN ON A RECALL FOR AIR BAG SAFETY CONCERN FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS. I HAVE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES GM CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPLAINED THAT MY LOCAL DEALERS REFUSES TO REPLACE THIS ITEM. EVERY TIME I HAVE CALLED THE DEALERSHIP, I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RUNAROUND REGARDING THIS SAFETY ISSUE. I KEEP GETTING NOTICES OF THE RECALL BUT WHAT GOOD IS IT WHEN GM AND THE DEALERSHIPS REFUSE TO REPLACE THE AIRBAG. IF YOU CONTACT THEM, YOU CAN SEE HOW MANY TIMES IV'E CALLED THEM AND COMPLAINED. DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO EXCEPT WAIT UNTIL A PASSENGER GETS INJURED OR DIES.

My 1.5 year old daughter is able to press the button on the chest clip and release the chest clip by herself. The button barely requires any pressure to be applied before releasing. She is unbuckling herself frequently.

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle shuddered. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed with a high-pressure fuel pump leak. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V837000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the model year was not included in the recall. The dealer confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and also confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.

Gps/onstar module not working, I read a lot of people are complaining same thing. I had it for a year, warranty done but I never used it. Sad you spend $70k on a truck and onstar goes bad and you never used it and they want more money to replace it. Now engine light is on.

On 5/27/23 I purchased a new 2023 Chevy Tahoe RST with a 6.2L V8 engine. On 5/28/2024, between 5 and 6pm (rush hour) I merged onto State Highway 32 in Maryland. I accelerated to match the speed of traffic and moved to the far-left lane. I was traveling between 60 and 65 MPH when my vehicle shifted into neutral by itself. I was unable to shift the vehicle back into drive. There was no shoulder on the left, so I had to coast through 2 lanes of traffic moving at a similar speed to reach the far-right lane. I could have very easily caused an accident, injuring myself or others. After successfully pulling off onto the shoulder I was still unable to move out of neutral. I had to shut off my engine and restart the vehicle to shift it into drive. I was unable to recreate the failure and safely made it home. In the days following the incident, I began to hear a clicking sound when I accelerated. At no time did a check engine light turn on and my OnStar vehicle report showed my Tahoe was in good health, including the engine. I brought the vehicle to Criswell Chevrolet on 6/14/24 to service the vehicle. I was told later that afternoon that my vehicle required a brand new engine. The vehicle and engine are available for inspection upon request. I was awestruck that a brand new vehicle with 19,000 miles could possibly need to have the engine replaced. While conducting online research, I see that other 2023 Tahoe owners have had a similar experience.

The contact stated that the fraying of the belt webbing was slight but over time had become more noticeable and the contact was concerned that the belt would tear during a crash. The contact stated that upon taking the vehicle to an independent mechanic, the mechanic discovered that all four rims were pitted and peeled which had caused all four tires to not hold air. The contact was informed that due to the rim defect, all four rims needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but contested that the failure was not related to a manufacturing defect of the rims but was instead related to the roads in the State where the contact resides. The vehicle was not replaced. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

Other vehicles of my year and make were recalled. My car was manufactured 8/14/21. I was driving on 6/12/24 and my Car died. I had power. I had fuel but fuel was not getting to the engine. It turns out it was the fuel pump control module that many others were recalled. This could have been a very unsafe situation for me as it died in a traffic lane during morning rush hour. It would not start back up for me. My dealer diagnosed it very quickly and is repairing it in 2 days time. Had I been on the freeway, someone would have rearended me. My car has 22,000 miles on it.
