VISIBILITY:REARVIEW MIRRORS/DEVICES:EXTERIOR
The driver-side mirror shakes noticeably while driving making it hard to see what's on your left, specially at night. Even though I'm reporting in 2024 w/ 55k miles, I just bought this L-Certified CPO Lexus 1 week ago, so the problem was likely there before. There are a couple of other signs that this car doesn't handle the South Florida heat very well and my guess is the adhesive on the mirror has started to fail. There is a service notice on late model NX to address this that replaces the entire mirror assembly and they'll likely do this as well when I take it in, but it is a fairly simple issue to resolve yourself following some YouTube videos even if they're not specific to this make/model.

If you by mistake forget to put your car on Parking the transmission does not lock by itself creating a hazard of movement of the vehicule that can cause an injury's or even worse. That was reported to the dealer and dismissed the issue as normal.

First Lexus I have ever owned and prob last. I am very disappointed in the paint quality of there cars. I have sustained so many rock chips and scratches from normal driving , no tailgating, or following to closely. Surprised how bad the paint is able to hold. The chips go straight through the paint to the black plastic underneath. My bumper looks like Swiss cheese. I was told by the dealer the design of the car requires it to be PPF. I would have done it if they told me before I drove it 13k.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, ENGINE, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
Codes P219C & P0301 have continuously came on , these lights MIL have made the vehicle go from AWD to 2 wheel drive while in motion. [XXX] vehicle was taken to Bay Ridge Lexus. In brooklyn NY. They over looked this issue and stated it was something else. This has been confirmed via multiple diagnostics machines. Lexus of Edison has also decided not to cover this repair under warranty . The danger of going from 4 wheel drive into 2 wheel drive while in motion is extremely dangerous . These warning lights/MIL once activated has also caused the vehicles sonar to fail cause a serious safety issue. My vehicle is available to be inspected as needed. ENGINE
Lexus RX350 has Timing Cover Gasket issue. My car is manufactured in 2016 and had only 59,757 miles on it but late last year the dealership discovered the leak after an oil change. The cost for repair is estimated $6500+ I am an engineer and researched the issue. I noticed that many people reported on Timing Cover Gasket issue in RX350 cars. I even learned that the next design flaw in RX350 is the water pump. I contacted the Lexus company and reported on the issue. They offered me $2000 discount. This means they are aware of the issue. I believe Lexus shall fix this issue since it can turn into a safety hazard. If customers don't notice the leak, or leave engine oil leaks unchecked, the engine could seize up, or even catch on fire. The contact owns a 2007 Lexus RX350. The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, the vehicle began to smoke. The contact pulled over and became aware that oil was leaking from the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a service center and the contact was informed that the engine cooler hose had ruptured. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 99,000.

AIR BAGS, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
on [XXX] traveling NB on [XXX] during a green light to make a left turn WB on [XXX] the defendant ran a red light and broadsided my 2001 RX300 Lexus and was cited. The airbags did not go off, and my head hit the windshield. The defendant was cited. I filed a claim with Toyota , case no [XXX] who inspected the totaled car at the yard tow. They stated they were unable to read the black box. They declined. There were side airbags and front air bags which should have deployed and did not. Lexus is still not providing 2 key fobs on delivery. They are not listing the 2nd Key Program (23LJ01) as a campaign on their vehicle mobile software. The "digital key" is glitchy and not a safe and secure option - it seems to be a way for Lexus to periodically generate more profit at the expense of customer safety and security.

The contact owns a 2015 Lexus RX350. The contact stated that while driving over bumps on the roadway, there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. In addition, the contact would lose slight control of the vehicle while turning the steering wheel to the left as the power steering became loose without warning. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was acknowledged that the power steering had failed, and the contact was provided an estimate for the repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.

On my 2021 Lexus RX350L, the left-hand side outer rear-view mirror vibrates. This can be observed when the car is driven >35mph or when driving on rough roads. At freeway speeds, the mirror vibrates to such a degree that it is difficult to see from it and causes perception issues. I noticed this issue even more pronounced on some other 2021 RX350 vehicles that I test drove before purchasing the one I own. The issue seems to mimic that of L-SB-0058-22. I suspect the cause and remedy are likely the same.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
The rain sensing wiper do not work properly. The wiper swipe once then stop. I have to turn them off and on again to get them to restarted. Also once they do start, they randomly stop for no reason. I have had it to the dealer twice. I was told the dealer contacted Lexus who confirmed this is a problem, with NO fix. The dealer also tested all the new RX 350's models, 2023 and 2024 on their lot, and ALL of them had the same problem. This is a major safety hazard that will cause accidents. It was serviced at Thompson Lexus in Doylestown, PA.

The car started giving warnings as follows in the middle of the highway on [XXX], at [XXX] 3 hours away from Chicago In order 1- Hybrid Malfunction, 2- Changing from 4 wheel to 2 wheel 3- Emergency Stop Vehicle And the car was full of the smell of burning I immediately turned off the car and called Lexus Roadside and towed off the vehicle to the Lexus dealership in Naperville, IL. AC doesn't work properly. We had several incidences when we were driving from Houston (TX) to Dallas (TX) in hot summer. The AC worked well when we left Houston, however it stopped blowing cool air when we were in the middle of nowhere on highway. The air became warmer and warmer, and there isn't anyway that we can adjust the air volume nor to cool it down. We took our car to Lexus dealer for diagnosis and nothing unusual was detected. The dealer suspect the cool air clogged in condenser that blocked cool air from entering the cabin. This is truly a safety concerns to all Lexus owners. When we drive on highway, in the middle of nowhere in hot summer, the car cannot provide a comfortable environment to driver and passengers, especially for babies or older passengers. It's a safety design flaw with Lexus RX350.
