Infotainment center shut down or went black & would not come back. This controls radio, satellite radio, Apple car play, Bluetooth connected features, hands free mobile phone connection, and backup camera. Dealership after nearly a month of repairs found shorts in radio and amp and replaced both per warranty.

Attempting to enter I-295 South in Portland, ME at Exit 7 on March 18, 2023. We were in our 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited with approximately 6,000 miles. I tried to accelerate from the ramp to merge into traffic. The vehicle would not accelerate at all. I made several attempts to accelerate and nothing would happen. Pulled into the breakdown lane while applying pressure to the accelerator but it would not accelerate. The vehicle was in EV (electric vehicle) mode. After approximately 1 minute the vehicle did accelerate. No further problems that day. We called the dealership immediately and left a message regarding the incident. On Monday March 20th We followed up with the dealership and scheduled an appointment for the next day On the 21st of March We dropped the vehicle at the dealership. We picked it up at the end of the day and they told us they installed a software update TSB 23-EE-002H to repair the issue.

When doors are unlocked, driver door outside handle will not open the door. It can be opened from the inside. No safety concern currently. Problem was reproducible by dealer technician and he stated he has a similar issue and showed me to hit below the handle with my fist. This is not a fix! When we took our Tucson for a warranty issue regarding the engine, we notified the technician of the problem and they failed to address the issue. This issue happened out of number-to-bumper warranty. I have read many forum articles by many owners that Hyundai will charge between &100 and $200 to diagnose the problem before fixing them charge for the component and labor to fix the issue. No warnings have appeared regarding the problem.

Acceleration issue, from a stop position on a red light or stop sign, when the gas pedal is pressed the engine revs but does not move immediately, after a couple of seconds it lundges forward, also when trying to merge you must wait for a very big gap to safely merge, the car does not respond and this is very dangerous, Hyundai need to rectify this issue before someone dies.

- #11513531March 24, 2023ENGINE, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
Vehicle engine light has been on for months, it would come and go. I’ve taken it to Hyundai but they kept saying nothing comes up and maybe it was the gas cap needing to be changed. My car also burns oil TOO fast and the dealership has expressed concern. I’ve also been getting a front collision camera disabled message on the dashboard for the last two days. On 3/23/23, my Tucson not only start making a loud noise but the engine light is blinking and barely drives. I almost didn’t make it home safely or at all

When accelerating, my car seems to hesitate. This happens regularly. The other day, making a left turn in an intersection with on-coming traffic, the engine hesitated to the point that the vehicle stopped moving forward. This was a concern since I did make a timely turn, but hadn't planned on my vehicle almost stopping in the middle of an intersection. My check engine light has not turned on, and the vehicle has less than 30,000 miles on it. I am concerned to the point that I will be taking it to a dealer to check it out.

- #11513374March 23, 2023UNKNOWN OR OTHER, LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:FUELING/CHARGING DOOR/HATCH/PORT:LATCH/LOCK RELEASE SYSTEM
The issue that is prominently in other Hyundai cars is the rear back doors will not open to be released. The locks will unlock and lock and it has no correlation with key battery and power to the door; the issue is the latching mechanism itself. This is a hazard to those who need to get out of vehicle in serious and emergency situations and having a door failed on a latching mechanism is not okay. This is also an issue to parents or guardians who travel with kids and use the child safety lock, and there is not a proper solution to this issue without tearing the door apart and having that be paid out of pocket of their own expense because a door latching mechanism has failed them. The responsible owner of this situation needs to be addressed and resolved by Hyundai, itself.

In the past six months, three of the four window regulators on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson stopped working. Recently, one of my windows fell out while driving on the highway. Looks like this is a manufacturing defect as hundreds of complaints have been reported on the internet. The vehicle needs to be recalled as this seems to be a common problem in most 2016 Tucsons and poses significant risks while driving, especially on highways at high speeds. I’ve included some exact complaints for your reference here: https://www.vehiclehistory.com/questions/why-is-my-hyundai-tucson-2016-window-not-working-353123 I hope this problem gets resolved soon. Thank you.

While driving to work on Thursday, February 23 2023, the car suddenly turned off flashing the check engine light and oil light. I was driving on the palisades interstate parkway in New York and had enough momentum with the car to get off on the next exit. Once the car was safely off of the road, I opened the hood and pulled the dipstick because the oil light was flashing and it was smoking. The oil light never came on before with the car. The car also had the recall for the knock sensor replacement to avoid this engine failure. I called Hyundai and the salesperson directed me to have the car towed to the dealership at my expense. Once at the dealer ship, the service advisor explained that they have had several cars come in with the same issue and that they would get back to me. A couple days later, they explained that the engine had burned all the oil and that Hyundai would replace it. The issue here is that that was my only car. I have a job and a son while other duties to fulfill. I was explained that it would take a while to get a motor since they’ve had cars sitting with the same issue since December and that they also had a wait of double digits people for the next loaner. I did not get an eta of when I would have my car back or when I can get a loaner. They also will not cover rental fees for a rental car. I have been paying for cabs and other forms of transport and still have no estimation of when I will get my car back.

I leased my 2023 Hyundai Tucson from your Authorized Dealership South Shore Hyundai in NY March 18,2003. I received the vehicle with 34 miles on the digital Odometer at approximately 1750 eastern standard time. At approximately 2030 eastern standard time with the vehicle at 62 mile on the digital Odometer. I was Driving with my family, which is made up of my wife, daughter 22yrs old and son 14 years old on the Wantagh Parkway South approximately location 40.740739,-73.544842 at the speed limit of 55 MPH. I began to hear knocking noise from the front of the vehicle that progressively got louder. Then immediately the check engine, brake, oil, key with car, battery, open doors, every light that the dashboard has came on. Immediately the whole vehicle lost power and I could no longer accelerate. The steering wheel got stiff and the vehicle had no response to brakes. The vehicle started stuttering. The engine died, RPMs at 0 and no response on the accelerator, brakes and steering. The vehicle would not start.I tried push start several times start the vehicle, remote start, app start and putting the remote close to the push start with no results. I felt helpless and in a very dangerous situation that this brand new Hyundai vehicle put my family and me in. My family’s life was at the mercy of a 62 mile brand new 2023 Hyundai Tucson Sel that I received less than 2 and half hours ago from a certified dealership South Shore Hyundai in NY. We were stuck in the left lane in the middle of the Wantagh Parkway south bound with nowhere to go with the median divider to my left and to the right it was a fully active lane of on coming traffic in order to reach the safety of the shoulder. My family and I had to cross a full active lane of on coming traffic to get to the shoulder safely. We were able to get to the shoulder safely. The safety hazards presented by this vehicle created is dangerous to America Families. Brand New vehicle should not suddenly shut off.Put the public in danger.

Within only two weeks of purchase this new car would suddenly stall in the middle of the road. The computer tells you to pull over. We continued to try and get the dealer to fix this issue, they first ignored us, then they secondly tried and successfully replicated the issue. They said there is no way they can fix the issue. This dangerous stalling in the middle of the road happened numerous times. You will push the pedal all the way to the ground and it won’t go over 20mph. This is a very dangerous issue and these vehicles need to stop being sold. It is very dangerous. We have been left without our money back and without a car to drive for months. We cannot drive the Tucson as it is simply too dangerous and must be towed to go anywhere for salvage.

2019 Hyundai Tuscon experienced engine failure at 66k miles. This vehicle experienced the exact same issues of vehicles Hyundai previously recalled. It is equipped with knock sensor which was supposed to be a "fix" for the known engine issues. A sensor displaying on dash at the same time the engine starts loudly knocking does not make the vehicle safe. The engine still has the potential to fail and catch fire. Hyundai needs to fix all these engine issues. The Hyundai corporate consumer affairs office nor the dealership will return calls or emails about our vehicle.

My vehicle did not accelerate when I pressed the gas - also I am low on oil and I’m not due for an oil change, meaning there is an oil consumption issue with the engine. Something is wrong with the engine/oil.

The Check engine light never went on and I did not cause any harm to the car. I was simply driving and all of a sudden the engine sounds like the car will explode with no warning. 58,000 miles . The car was checked out by the dealer and they are recommending a completely new engine . They have no explanation for me.
