My day light running lights and headlights flicker on and off in the middle of the day , on sunny days. All I can do is turn them off.This is a regular problem {24-7}

ENGINE
Car was overheating and the temperature light never came on. There is no dashboard temperature gauge. I first noticed my driver side AC was blowing hot. I was told it needed Freon it was refilled but kept happening. It wasn’t until I was driving and my car said “engine overheating going into idle” that I pulled over and discovered I was out of coolant, which was just topped off a few days before. I ended up having to replace the entire cooling system, radiator, hoses, turbo hoses, fan, and was told I needed to replace the header. I replaced all that and then the turbo went out and a piston snapped off inside the engine and had to replace the entire engine. I feel like this could have all been prevented had there been a dashboard temperature gauge or had the temperature light come on sooner. I had no clue the car was running hot beyond my AC blowing hot and by then it was too late.

STEERING, SUSPENSION
I'm contacting nhtsa to make a recall request on chevys 2020 trax . less than 3 years old and has 23,300 miles , the chevy trax needed both control arms, both side tie rod ends , 2 alignments. I'm going to say to nhtsa I think chevy didn't manufacture the 2020 trax with strong enough front suspension and steering parts. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The both front bottom control arms . I asked the ourisman dealership to give them to me after the repair was paid they didn't give . and the ourisman dealership said it was only one bad inner tie rod end but both where bad . I had the tie rod ends replaced at independent service center and they kept and gave me the old bad tie rod ends. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? If these parts broke off during driving would be a deadly crash of multiple vehicles especially on a interstate. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes by to ourisman dealerships and one independent service center. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? by the chevy dealerships but they didn't give me the parts after the repair but I did ask for the parts. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No, didn't

While driving the vehicle started to smoke under the hood. Once the engine cooled off, I opened the hood. There was coolant sprayed all over the engine. I had the vehicle towed to a mechanic and was told the hose that connects to the fan had cracked off because the plastic piece used by Chevy isn’t robust. Even after repairs were made for the issue, a month later the same plastic piece could not hold up. Over 700$ put into this issue.

ENGINE
This car consumes oil no matter what you replace. Replaced the pcv valve. Oil cooler and various other parts and still consumes one quart of oil per 100 miles. Now the engine needs replacing due to this issue. Gm was sued for oil consumption on other Chevy cars. This should be included. I have also have every receipt. Oil change and expense from the dealer if needed

Driver-side rear window has intermittently failed to open since vehicle purchase. When it doesn't open, I can still hear the motor click when the button is pressed. I confirmed no obstacles or sticky residue. Dealer ordered a replacement window motor months ago, but it has not arrived.

The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in the driveway, she noticed a leak on the ground underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the cooling system was leaking. The dealer determined that the cooling system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact related the failure to an unknown recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 87,046.

TURBO Charger Internal Failure. It is available for inspection upon request. It put my Turo driver at risk of being stuck in the middle of no where. The vehicle has been inspected by Hennessy Mazda, Buick, GMC Certified Mechanic at the dealership. It was also inspected by Turo Specialist. The check engine light came on.

P2138 Throttle/pedal Position Sensor/switch "D"/"E" Voltage Correlation loss of power on the vehicle , gas peedle has been replaced , proplem persits his condition may be caused by water intrusion into the instrument panel (IP) to body harness connector, which carries the APP sensor signals to the ECM/PCM. This water intrusion results in a voltage difference between APP Sensor 1 and APP Sensor 2 that exceeds a predetermined value for more than a calibrated period of time, setting P2138."

STEERING
The steering failed causing the vehicle to not be able to turn left. The dealership replaced the entire steering column to correct the issue. The failure happened while being driven by my daughter nearly causing a crash. She was able to stop and back up in the road as the vehicle would turn right but not left. The issue after the initial incident cleared up and did not affect the vehicle operation until the next day when it happened again. The second occurrence is when we took it in for service. The dealership stated the module in the steering column was failing. The module replacement required the replacement of the steering column.

SERVICE BRAKES, LANE DEPARTURE: ASSIST
I was driving at 50mph when I lost power to my brakes. The brakes still worked well enough to get home, but I had to slow down well in advance of every turn and push hard on the brakes. Warning lights saying Brake System Failure (43 MPH Top Speed), Service Stabilitrak, and Steering Assist is Reduced Drive with Care. This problem has been talked about by other owners on Forums on the internet. Here's one of the websites: [XXX] One of the guys on that forum said the dealership found it to be a faulty brake fluid level sensor. The car's lane assist did seem to act a bit weird a couple of days before the warning lights came on. I felt like the car was trying to reposition despite being in the middle of the lane. I will be bringing the car to the dealership in the near future. They haven't had a chance to look at it. I could see an inexperienced driver panicking if faced with the multitude of warning lights and loss of proper brake function. The car only has 350 miles on it. turbo charger on all small engine for chevy have been giving people a lot of headaches during the winter months. Chevy is aware thar their turbo chargers are affected by cold weather but still put the turbo into new vehicles. I have fixed my turbocharger three times on my 2017 Trax with no success.

Instrument panel goes blank and blacks out while driving, this poses a huge safety risk!! I am unable to use anything in the instrument panel. There was a recall for some Trax's but it says mine doesn't qualify, I don't know why!! Chevrolet has looked at it and everything but they are saying they cannot fix the problem. It has been happening for the past 6-7 months about once a week, ever since we purchased the vehicle. I have videos to show proof if needed.

The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated that the instrument cluster was flickering. The contact stated that the Forward Collision Avoidance system engaged without any objects nearby. While at a stop, the automatic STOP/START feature became inoperable. The vehicle was turned off with the key outside the vehicle, but the radio failed to turn off. Additionally, there was a lot of static on the radio. The steering wheel buttons were inoperable. The contact stated that the steering wheel was extremely hot. The high-beam headlights failed to engage while driving. The Back Over Prevention view was distorted and the touch screen was inoperable. The contact called the local dealer, where the system was rebooted, and the radio and camera were replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. While reversing from the garage and then shifting to park, the key was removed from the ignition, and the seat belt alarm continued to ring. The vehicle was shifted to drive but failed to move forward. While exiting the vehicle, the vehicle failed to lock with the fob or manually. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.

The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated the A/C, and the heater were inoperable, and there was a burning odor inside the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the failure was due to a faulty wiring. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that after the repair, the vehicle was overheating while driving. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing an abnormal coolant consumption. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the water pump, the radiator, the lifters, the thermostat, and unknown hoses needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 43,956.

I was driving to My college from my home and around 3.8mi on my route when I heard a loud sound from my car I also noticed the vehicle was unstable so I went to the nearest gas station at Westar to put in a spare I had in my car the Yokohama tire was P 205/ 70R16 96H I never got it inspected by anyone and I did get a warning 0 psi low tire please add air to your tire and a Service Tire Monitor System after I installed the spare and I never contacted the dealer or service center regarding the problem my tire is available for inspection if needed and my safety could've been at risk or others due to me driving at a high traffic route

SUSPENSION, STEERING, ENGINE
The steering of the vehicle is very tight and it doesn't spring back when turning the wheel on its own like most vehicles do . you have to manually bring your steering wheel back for the wheels to turn straight again..and this isn't normal by any means ... Also, The turbocharger in my vehicle isnt working correctly and is causing my check engine light to be on even after engine codes have issues have been repaired. I've changed air filters.. I've changed mass air flow sensors.. I've changed the intake manifold and the engine light comes back on after accelerating.. The engine code that keeps coming back on and returning is p0299.. this is an issue with the turbo boost.. And this is also something that has been recalled for other model Chevy lf the Chevy Trax.. my vehicle issues are recalls that are being done on other Chevy Trax but they're not being recalled for my model of the Chevy Trax as obvious that these recall issues pertain to my vehicle as well.. I know there are recalls on the Chevy Trax which are having these exact issues except my car isn't listed on the recall list.. and without a doubt it should be because these issues I'm having go hand and hand with other Chevy Trax models that are receiving recalls for these exact same issues
