SummaryVolvo Car USA LLC and Volvo Car Canada LTD, on behalf of Volvo Car Corporation, has decided to launch Complimentary Upgrade – C000017 on certain Android-based Infotainment system (iCup) vehicles that have missed three (3) or more consecutive Over-The-Air (OTA) downloads. C000017 also addresses certain EX90’s that have missed one (1) or more OTA downloads. Complimentary Upgrade C000017 addresses vehicles that are no longer able to receive OTA updates. This Upgrade is necessary to have the correct baseline for future OTA deployments. In order to explain the features and benefits we recommend noting the software level before the download is completed. This will aid in explaining to the customer what improvements have been added since their last software download. To remedy concerned cars, please follow the instructions outlined in TJ 36139.

SummaryVolvo Car USA LLC and Volvo Car Canada LTD, on behalf of Volvo Car Corporation, has decided to launch Active Service Action A10291 on certain Model Year 2024 XC40 vehicles. Volvo Cars Quality investigations have identified that the O-ring in the piston movement path on the Active on Demand Coupling (AOC) is wider than designed causing the O-ring seal to twist. As a result, internal leakage may occur. The corrective action is to replace the AOC. A10291 affects 26 cars in the United States and 2 in Canada.
