The windshield wipers were set to auto during a torrential downpour. When they increased to a high speed of wiping, we heard a large crack and the windshield wiper had completely broke on us. We were going around 45 MPH on a highway and were 1 hour away from our destination. We had little to no visibility for the remainder of the car ride as it continued to downpour and was the most terrifying drive. We went to Dick Hannah's in Portland, OR to get it fixed. My fiance, who is an automotive engineer, told them what he believed happened; something in the arm itself has malfunctioned or misaligned to cause this. The dealership claimed it was the windshield wipers that caused them to break. I had purchased the car from carmax a few months prior, so they told us it wasn't covered. We went back and forth as we were certain it wasn't the wipers, but took their word for it. They "fixed it". Then, it happened for the second time. I was driving 55 MPH on the freeway while it was down-pouring and again, while set to auto, the wipers broke. It's hard not to panic. I immediately turned off the wipers before more damage could happen and lost visibility completely, causing more panic. I tried to switch it to low to get some visibility and took the next exit I could. I never made it to my destination and drove home instead on inside roads just in case. I don't understand how this isn't a recall. It has put us in such dangerous situations. High-speed highways/freeways, downpours, and no visibility do not mix.

The fuel door doesn't work. My safety is at risk because I cannot put gas in my car. If i can't put gas in my car then it will stop working. If it starts working, the car becomes useless. There were no warning lights or anything. This is a common problem and should have a lifetime warranty.

Approximately one week after having my oil changed at a Hyundai dealership, I began experiencing intermittent collision safety alerts and multiple dashboard warning lights. On three separate occasions when I started the vehicle, warnings appeared for the forward and rear collision systems, along with multiple other sensor warnings and engine warning lights. During one incident while driving in traffic, the forward collision warning activated and the vehicle abruptly applied the brakes. I was nearly rear-ended as a result. I have taken the vehicle back to the dealership on two separate occasions. The dealership reported replacing a sensor, but the warning lights and collision system issues have continued to occur intermittently. I am concerned that the vehicle may unexpectedly apply the brakes again, creating a risk of a collision.
