The right rear shock absorber failed and was replaced under warranty at approximately 22,000 miles. The car was making noise, the shock was leaking, and not working properly. The dealer admitted to problems with rear shock absorbers failing at low mileage on Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SUVs 2022 through 2025 Tucson Hybrids. The left and right rear shock absorbers are the same part number so we now expect the left side to fail but the dealer will not replace the left until it fails.

Fuel injector went bad causing vehicle engine to misfire and shake rapidly. Check engine light is on. The vehicle only has 40,000 miles on it. Seems to be a very common concern for this make and model and roughly the same years. Will not accelerate instantly and will surge a bit when it does. Will still shake when the vehicle is idle.

Rear, middle seat belt will not latch. Upon the first need, June 2026, of having to have five people in the 2024 Tucson we discovered that the rear, middle seat belt would not latch. On August 26, 2026, while driving to work, my 2022 Hyundai Tucson unexpectedly lost power and shut down while the vehicle was being driven. This created a serious safety concern because the vehicle became inoperable while in traffic. This vehicle has had a history of repeated problems and has been taken to Hyundai dealerships for repairs on numerous occasions. Despite these previous dealership visits and repair attempts, the vehicle continues to experience problems. The latest incident, in which the vehicle shut down while being driven, has significantly increased my concern regarding the safety and reliability of the vehicle. The vehicle is being made available for inspection and diagnosis. At this time, the exact component or cause of the failure is unknown. I am requesting that this complaint be documented because of the sudden loss of power while driving and the vehicle's history of repeated dealership visits and repairs. I am concerned that this condition could cause a crash if the vehicle unexpectedly loses power again while traveling in traffic or at highway speeds.

Two instances of the center screen malfunctioning. One was an intermittent blip of the screen turning black and then turning back on while driving. Additionally, during this same instance of the intermittent blip of the screen turning off for about 3 seconds, my headlights which are set to auto also turned off while I was driving at night and then blipped back on when the screen came back at the same time. Second instance, the center screen was black and never came on when the car was initially turned on and the screen remained black for the entirety of my drive until the car was fully turned off and then back on. Yes, this is available for inspection upon request. Safety was put at risk by losing headlight visibility at night highly increasing the chances of an accident as well as losing important carplay navigational directions on center screen. Problem has been reproduced as these issues both occurred within one week (the week of August 16-23, 2026). The vehicle has not been inspected. During the time of both events there were no warning lamps or messages that appeared.
