A majority of the lug nuts on my wheels had to be replaced because of the severe corrosion to them due to the crappy aluminum caps on the original vehicles. Three of them had already fallen off within the past 6 months. Mechanic said I would not have been able to remove a flat tire if that had occurred do to the damage on the lug nuts. The tires shop was installing my winter tires and notified me of the need to replace them. They are NOT cheap. It appears there have been a number of complaints about this issue. Some kind of reimbursement would be appropriate, yes?

Ford is aware if an issue with the dual clutch transmissions present in their Ford Focus models from 2011 to 2018. Recently they settled a lawsuit in the case if 2011 to 2016. I would like to report that this issue is still present. They currently want 8000 dollars for the transmission alone, and said that it is still a dual clutch, so it could do the same thing again and give out or it could be fine.

While driving transmission seems to start to slip and then fails. Upon further research, found that there is a known issues with the TCM on vehicle. This issue came about while driving in traffic and could have caused an accident when the transmission stopped working if I was unable to get into a parking lot before it stopped working.

I received a recall notice from AutoNation Ford Miami but with no description or recall number. I took it to AutoNation Ford Miami for recall service. After my car was inspected I was told no recall service can be performed due to equipment no longer made/available. something about computer transmission system I believe but I'm not sure. I check online through VIN number and now it reflect my car has 0 recalls due to being fixed but nothing was done to fix recall.

My mother, [XXX], purchased this car in 2017 with only 2 miles on it. Shortly after purchasing it, the steering went out. She had it repaired. Then the clutch on the transmission went out. She had to fight with dealership and Ford to get it replaced. Since this, we have had to have six clutches put in. We have also had to have another steering column put in and two purge valves. The car is now back in the shop having the seventh clutch put in. We have contacted Ford several times asking them to do a buyback and they refuse. My mom is a retired 72 year disabled vet and has to have reliable transportation due to her health. Please assist her in getting this issue resolved. Was driving along a curvy road when it suddenly down shifted and I had no safe place to get off the road. I continued to try and get to a safe place and then it went in to neutral and couldn't move at all. Thank goodness another car didn't come it could have killed me. It then went back into gear and I did make it to a safe place to pull over and call a tow truck. The said it needs transmission control module. By the look of all the complaints on the TCM they need a recall before someone gets killed.
