I bought my Rogue August 2025, brand new. I am at home and my rear windshield has just busted out for no reason. It is 38 degrees today outside. I have not moved my vehicle at all today. For no reason, just sitting in driveway, it has busted. I looked up and it looks as if other Rogues are doing this. This is very dangerous. What if I had been driving the vehicle.

- #11716112February 6, 2026ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING, ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER
The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated, and the vehicle accelerated slowly with the RPM at 3,500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) days later. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and it was confirmed that the VIN was included in the recall. After running the test, the dealer concluded there were no issues with the vehicle and that only the battery needed to be replaced. The dealer reprogrammed the engine control module (ECM) software for the NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact was informed that the vehicle was included in another recall regarding the turbo charger under DTC: P4847; and replaced the turbo charger hose. The contact replaced the battery. Two days after replacing the battery, the vehicle failed to exceed 35 MPH, with the check engine warning light became illuminated. The vehicle was not returned to the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

My husband and I had just cranked up our 2023 Nissan Rogue to warm up before putting our newborn in. Suddenly, it sounded like a gunshot. My husband looked back and the windshield had spontaneously shattered. Our back windshield just malfunctioned and we immediately called our Nissan dealer to report it. If we had started driving with our newborn in the back seat he could have seriously been injured. There were no warning signs or indications. Currently waiting on it to be inspected by the dealership, and insurance.

While I was leaving a restaurant my back windshield spontaneously shattered in the middle of me driving it, I had the front and back heat on at the time it’s shattered, I am a first-time driver at the age of [XXX] , and I was extremely terrifying for my safety and other drivers safety while I drove my vehicle after the glass shattered out of nowhere due to no fault of my own, was worried about glass being thrown around in the vehicle, but got the vehicle home safely, I am now responsible for paying out-of-pocket for Safelite to replace this back windshield, there were no warning signs it just shattered on its own! Then I found that there was a class action suit against Nissan rogue 2021-2025 saying that the back windshields are defective. The vehicle experiences a severe loss of power, placing it into a reduced-power or limp mode that prevents the vehicle from exceeding approximately 10 mph. The issue has occurred repeatedly despite multiple repair attempts. The battery was replaced initially, after which the vehicle broke down while still at the dealership. The service department removed the new battery & reinstalled the original battery, at which point the vehicle temporarily operated normally. On a subsequent visit for the same reduced-power condition, the dealership replaced the throttle body chamber and multiple gaskets. This repair resolved the issue only for a short period of time. During a third service visit, I paid approximately $3,000 for additional repairs; however, the same issue occurred again, & I was unable to safely leave the dealership parking lot. The vehicle is currently available for inspection, testing, & servicing upon request. All prior inspections & repair attempts are documented in dealership service records. My safety & the safety of others were placed at significant risk because the vehicle unexpectedly loses power while being driven. The vehicle abruptly slows & cannot exceed 10 mph. This occurred while driving on the highway during heavy 5:00 p.m. traffic, as well as during normal roadway driving. A sudden and severe reduction in speed in traffic creates a high risk of rear-end collisions or other serious accidents, particularly if surrounding drivers are unable to react in time. Yes. The dealership where the vehicle was purchased is the same dealership that has serviced the vehicle on all three occasions. Each time, the dealership has inspected the vehicle and represented that the issue was repaired. However, the problem continues to occur immediately after service, including instances where the vehicle could not be driven out of the dealership parking lot. Any qualified service center test-driving the vehicle would be able to observe & reproduce. Yes check engine light

We have colder weather, so we had normal ice and snow on the vehicle. I walked the backside of the vehicle to the driver side. I entered on the drivers side. I started the car and turned on the defrost, I then heard the cracking, which I assumed to be the ice. When I shut the driver door the back rear window shattered.

My Rogue had an engine failure in 2024. This caused the car not slow down and not accelerate on highway and could have caused an accident. Entire engine and turbo and replaced at 71276 miles. In 2025 another incident happened where the car lost power on the interstate in left lane, I had to move my car to right side of road in busy traffic. This could have also been a major accident, and put my family at risk. I left the car at another dealer as I was on vacation. This time the EGR valve, EGR sensor had to be replaced as well as all catalytic converters at 97018 and 97282 miles I received the recall notice after all of this in the mail about the engine recall on this Rogue and Nissan is failing to reimburse me for any of the repairs for the engine and other parts replacement. They are saying that the repairs are not related to the recall. I have heard from my dealer and other sources that several of these Rogue engines are failing similar to what mine did. I do not believe Nissan is doing enough to resolve the issue with these cars.

[XXX]- I have a 2024 Nissan Rogue. My car was parked in my garage. Once I pushed the button to start, the back window exploded! Broken glass everywhere. I was the only one in the car. My car has a little over 18,000 miles, and I cannot afford to get it fixed. I have insurance with a $1,000 deductible. I spoke with a dealership in Auburn, Alabama (this is where I live). I emailed pictures, and I am presently waiting for a reply. I have requested that Nissan fix this issue free of charge.
