Whilst driving my 2023 Rogue the AWD light came on with a warning MALFUNCTION see owner’s manual and the check engine light came on. The start/stop/ idle feature turned off at the same time.. I was not able to stop so I reduced my speed from 55 to 40 and proceeded to finish the drive an additional 12 miles. I parked the vehicle and called for an appt at Nissan. I took the car in for service and when I got there I showed them the pic of what the dashboard was reading. I later received a text that no warning lights came on when the service tech attempted to drive it to make his report. I was recommended to pick up the vehicle and if it happened again to return. I cannot and will not drive this vehicle. I have only been driving the car for 7 months and this is the second issue I have had with it. I do not feel safe or comfortable driving it.

On 6/22/2026, my vehicle was towed due to loss of power, excessive oil consumption, and excessive vibration, and unable to start. These issues have been ongoing since October 2025. Nissan dealership informed me that I needed a new throttle body and an oil change. Against my better judgement, I paid $1374.02 to replace the part. Two weeks later, My engine started making knocking noises, excessive vibration and completely shut down. Subsequently, I discovered that there is a recall for my vehicle directly related to engine oil bearing failure(NHTSA 26V080, AND Throttle body(NHTSA 26V081). This is an unresolved recall issue and this is both frustrating and disturbing because the manufacture is trying to use delay tactics and avoiding my free repair. This dealer improperly denies a legitimate safety recall when they are required to inspect parts, update software and replace damaged parts at no cost to me. I was told since my warranty has expired, it will not be covered. To say I am baffled, is an understatement. This has nothing to do with my warranty expiration, rather everything to do with over 642,000 U.S. SUV(model years 2023-2025) Nissan Rogue safety campaign. My vehicle is a 2023 and I am asking for some assistance with enforcing the company to honor this recall. In the end, these franchise dealerships want to save money but had no problem taking my money when the vehicle was purchased. More disturbing, my vehicle neither has not been torn down nor any diagnostic code been confirmed. After asking why, I was told that the engine is locked up and it will not show. Please assist me with my refund to out of pocket expense with throttle body and a new engine asap. Thanks.

I own a 2021 Nissan Rogue SV, 2.5L engine. I have repeatedly experienced a strong gasoline/fuel/exhaust-like odor inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The odor is extremely strong and has caused me and my passengers to experience dizziness, nausea, feeling sick, and discomfort. I regularly transport my children, including a [XXX] child, creating a serious safety concern. The exact component causing the odor is UNKNOWN. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. I have taken the vehicle to the Nissan dealership more than eight times for this same recurring problem. On some occasions, I was turned away without the vehicle being properly inspected, and on other occasions I was told that the dealership could not find anything wrong or that there was nothing they could do to repair the issue. The problem has continued and worsened I eventually took the vehicle to an independent automotive repair facility for a second opinion. Their written service documentation states that I reported a strong smell of gas and feeling sick. The shop removed the rear seat cushion and inspected the low-pressure fuel pump and found no leak at that particular time. They also visually inspected the high-pressure fuel pump and found no obvious signs of a fuel leak at that time. The independent shop documented the ongoing concern and recommended that I return to the dealership with the information they found. Their documentation also states that I should not drive with children in the vehicle at this time because of the unresolved issue. Although the independent inspection did not identify an active fuel leak at the time of inspection, the recurring odor remains unresolved. The problem appears to be intermittent or difficult to reproduce during inspection, but it continues to occur during normal operation of the vehicle. I am particularly concerned because this vehicle is used to transport my children and we have all experienced some health concerns. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (F

I turned on my car and it started smoking. (White smoke out of the exhaust). I decided to drive it to the nearest Nissan dealership (approximately 4.7 miles). I noticed a sputtering and loss of power while driving. Approximately 3 miles into the drive, the check engine light and see owner’s manual warning popped up on the dash. I noticed the engine temperature was really high, and I noticed a dramatic loss of power. I turned on my hazards and I pulled into auto zone which was along the route. I put coolant into it and the engine began struggling to even start. I got it started and attempted to drive the remaining mile to the dealership. I wasn’t able to get enough power to enter traffic safely. I reversed by putting it in neutral. I then called a tow truck and had it towed to the dealership.
