My 2023 Nissan Rogue was sitting in the hot sun and the rear window shattered. There was no accident or apparent defect in the window. It was simply the hottest day of the year (July 27, 2026) followed by a night time rainstorm. I had not even driven the car that day.

Component: Suspension: Front: Control Arm: Left Lower Arm Description: While operating the vehicle at approximately 5 mph, the left (drivers' side) front lower control arm suffered a catastrophic structural material failure, snapping completely into two parts by the ball joint without warning. The structural failure caused the front wheel assembly to collapse outward, ripping the axle out of the transmission and immediately severing steering control and braking. The vehicle immediately pulled to the left and came to a complete stop. The sudden loss of vehicular control created an immediate, severe safety hazard on a public roadway. Considering that 10 minutes prior, the vehicle was traveling at interstate highway speeds; lives were possibly saved by the failure at the point in time it did fail. The left fender was also damaged and blocked, exiting from the driver's side door. There was also damage to the struts as well as damage to the stabilizer bars on the struts. The axle was also disengaged from the transmission as well. Inspection of the failed component reveals a complete cross-sectional fracture of the metal housing, which represents a severe structural manufacturing or metallurgical defect. The failed component and photographic evidence have been preserved for engineering analysis. The AAA Service Center confirmed the issue in the repair invoice and a secondary email from the service center elaborated on the issue. No other representatives have inspected the component since the incident. There were no issues prior to the failure, but the vehicle had to be previously towed on 06/02/2026 due to a battery fuse assembly that was preventing the vehicle immobilizer from disengaging. The tow required skids since the front wheels were locked in place and there was no way to disable them. The tow was provided by AAA on 6/1/26 to my local Nissan Dealership. On 6/2/26 a diagnostic and a multipoint inspection was completed and the fuse assembly was replaced.

The left headliner above the small rear window is wet/stained after heavy rain or a car wash. I have had this issue previously with the front left headliner and the clips were replaced. The same issue is occurring with the rear left headliner now. The risk of mold exposure, water damage, etc. is high.

My Nissan rogue had a PCV valve recall and I'm still getting sick from the car. I've had it at the dealerships and they can't find anything wrong but the car is causing severe migraine headaches, severe neck pain and severe abdominal and pelvic pain. It doesnt always happen and there is no way for me to figure out what is causing It. I put a portable CO2 detector in the car and found nothing. It can happen with air on or off. I can't figure it out but it's making me and my family sick. I called Nissan and they told me to get a docto rs note that the car is making me sick to fbe able to o file a claim. I don't know how to prove the car is causing all the illness.

Warning lights keep popping up then something will go wrong with the car. A CVT malfunction came up and wouldn’t allow me to put the car in park then after I turned the car off it went back to normal. More random lights will come up they will all be different problems with the engine or system then once car has been off for a few it would go back to normal

I attempted to speak with a service advisor at Nissan regarding my concerns and symptoms of the safety recall, I left a message with a service rep explaining my issue and still have not gotten a call back over 48 hrs later. I have started a case with Nissan corporate in regards to NHTSA 26V-080, I explained that I may be experiencing limp modes. I asked if I would be getting a free loaner and I was told by corporate, that would be the dealerships decision. This is a major safety recall and the fact that CORPORATE is telling me this is very concerning. Corporate then asked if I would like to be transferred to a dealership to make an appointment. At no point did either corporate nor the dealership tell me to stop driving and offer me a tow to the dealership. This is a huge safety liability for Nissan and I have documentation of all this. While driving it feels rough and I have had power loss and have not been able to go more than 25-26 mph until pulling over and restarting the car. These calls are on recorded lines and they failed to take this safety recall seriously after I explained my issue.

Bought this car brand new from Nissan dealership 7/2023. Had issues with battery, sensor (causing car to go into low mode), and now complete engine failure all in a span of 7 months. Towed to dealership, told need new engine/turbo cost: $9,462. Reached out to Nissan Consumer Affairs for support as this car has less than 100k miles on it. Told nothing they can do-not on recall. Did online research and realized the same exact problems I had, was the same problems that was in the other recall cars. My car should have been on the recall list-not sure why not. Did Nissan just pick and choose which cars to add because it is ironic my car experienced the same problems. I had 3 major issues happen to the car in a span of 7 months this year. I was sold a bogus car from the dealership.

On July 15 at approximately 4:30 pm my daughter's 2022 Nissan Rogue stalled while she was making a turn in a busy intersection. She was able to restart it and make it to a safe place to call a tow truck. There were no warning lights on my dashboard. The vehicle had just been serviced less than two weeks prior. The vehicle was towed to the local Nissan dealership. The next day the inspected it and determined it had overheated and coolant was entering the exhaust manifold. The technician noted that the coolant reservoir was very low.

The contact owns a 2025 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while at a complete stop, the Auto START/STOP engaged independently, causing the front driver’s side seat to move backwards. No warning light was illuminated. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to two separate dealers to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the vehicle was unintendedly switching driver profiles, causing the seat setting to change. The contact was informed that the software needed to be updated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle needed to be taken to a dealer to be diagnosed, and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 11,000.

Had a coffee spill while driving down the road. It shorted out my driving shifter. It immediately triggered a cvt transmission code. I am now worried that im going to have an electrical fire. I took my suv to the shop and they replaced it at a cost of $1200. They blame me for spilling the coffee. I don't understand why you would put something like that next to a cup holder and not have it protected. I believe this should be recalled.

Since purchasing my 2023 Nissan Rogue brand new, I have experienced severe drowsiness and an inability to breathe when driving in start-and-stop traffic. The issue peaked after a recent refueling stop, where raw gas fumes or exhaust heavily infiltrated the cabin. Immediately after driving away from the gas pump, I suffered acute chemical suffocation, gasping for air, experiencing body tremors, and nearly passing out. The symptoms instantly resolved when I switched to driving a different vehicle. This is a severe cabin fume infiltration defect that causes physical incapacitation while driving.

On XXX I was traveling with my [XXX] mother who has 2 plates to her hips from a fx. We had stopped at a rest area. I went to get her out of the front passenger side and the door would not open from outside or inside. The other doors were fine. She is not able to climb over the front console so I called the police. They were able to get her over the front seat to the back. Very upsetting for this to happen. I went online to see what the issue could be and saw there is a class action suit against Nissan on the door locks(actuator) as Nissan is refusing to do a recall. I went to my Nissan dealer to do repairs and sure enough it was the actuator. Cost of $940.95. The dealer could have cared less of what happened. This is a safety issue. What if all my locks did not open and she was stuck in the car since the temps were 96 that day.Receipt for repairs are attached. The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the front driver's side exterior door handle detached and fell off the vehicle. Additionally, the front passenger's side exterior door handle fractured, and half of the door handle fell off the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed with a failed front driver's and front passenger's side door actuators. The contact was informed that the front driver's and front passenger's side door actuators needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the rear passenger's side exterior door handle fractured and detached. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The contact was informed that the failure was a known failure with similar vehicles. The vehicle was scheduled for an inspection in several days. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact referenced an unknown recall; however, the VIN was not associated with a recall related to the failure. The contact stated that the damage had occurred during normal operational and was not the result of excessive pressure or force. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

I was driving on the interstate going 70-80 mph and my car would not accelerate and I got a bunch of yellow error codes. I pulled over and shut it off and restarted. I drove it straight to the nearest Nissan dealership. In that time driving to the dealership my car barely would go over 60 mph and the RPM's would go high then low. The dealership looked it over later in the day and called me and said that 'nothing is wrong with it.' No error codes. No problems. They drove it 30 miles. I am not satisfied with this. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY issue and I am scared to drive again knowing I may not be able to accelerate on the interstate. I took a picture of my dashboard and errors that showed when I was pulled over and I gave this to the dealership. They still said nothing was wrong. I got a second CVT error that I do not have a picture of that one. I opened a case with Nissan directly. I am waiting to hear back from them. (Filed case on XXX case # XXX- [XXX], CS representative). I will have additional files to share once I pick up my car but right now I am scared to drive it. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
