I am submitting this complaint regarding my leased Jeep Wrangler 4xe, which has been affected by two recalls: Recall 68C: My vehicle was not drivable for over 60 days while awaiting a repair under this recall. For 60+ days this recall was a fire risk, left me unable to charge my vehicle, and I was advised to park away from structures or other vehicles. This caused a significant and unreasonable loss of use, even though a fix is now available. Recall 78C: My vehicle is currently affected by Recall 78C, for which no remedy is available. Because of this recall, I have been instructed to limit vehicle operation due to safety concerns, including the risk of engine failure, unexpected vehicle crash, and fire. These restrictions prevent normal and safe use of the vehicle. The combination of these recalls has resulted in substantial impairment of the vehicle’s use and safety. Stellantis has had more than a reasonable opportunity to repair these defects. I am concerned that the vehicle poses an ongoing safety risk and that delays in remedy are unreasonable. I request that NHTSA document this complaint and investigate Stellantis’ handling of Recalls 68C and 78C, and I am submitting this in conjunction with a formal Ohio Lemon Law demand for lease repurchase.

I’m writing to ask for you all to honor the recall for my jeep. I purchased a 2022 Jeep Wrangler in April of 2025 Months after the purchase I began to notice that on certain road conditions that my vehicle would shake violently back and forth at higher speeds if I hit a bump. As you can tell this causes great concern for mine and my children's well being. My teen son is also driving my vehicle which is also a concern. I've had it looked at by multiple shops who all state that the vehicle has a recall on the steering damper as it can create a death wobble. I attempted to take it to the Jeep dealership in Boulder, CO who refused to look at it stating my jeep doesnt count. However the mechanic and online states that it will honor any jeep that appears to have this issue to be looked at and fixed as you all were sued and claimed to have fixed the problem yet it still continues, and Jeep offers this as an extended offer for all jeeps. Jeep is refusing to honor the extended recall. So I am filing a complaint to get this fixed as this issue is not of my doing, not wear and tear.

Under recall 78C, Sand Contaminated Engine, I was advised by the manufacturer FCA to contact the dealership immediately if there were any unusual sounds/movements while operating the vehicle. On January 10th, 2026, the vehicle is noted to be making a new clicking/vibration sound. I contacted the dealership Milton Ruben Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Augusta GA who towed the vehicle to their location. Upon vehicle arrival, the sales manager Ben at number [XXX] called this consumer and stated he did not want the vehicle and wasn't going to service it because they catch on fire, and that he will just place it on the back lot. So now I am without a safe vehicle to drive and this is a leased vehicle that is under manufacturer warranty. I purchased this Jeep 4xe in September 2025 and the dealer did not mention any recalls or safety concerns at the time of purchase nor did I receive any notification of a recall. My jeep battery caught on fire just like the recall states. Fortunately a neighbor saw the fire prior to it burning down my other jeep and barn.

The vehicle does not always turn on after coming to a stop. The auto start-stop function does not work at all times. There have been a few situations where the car will not turn back on and takes anywhere from 10-30 minutes to turn back on, and leaves us stranded at stop signs, red lights and turning lanes and we are unable to get out of the traffic which we feel is very unsafe as people have to try and go around us as we impede traffic . The vehicle displays error message stating their is a problem with the battery system, but once it turns back on (no specific time or way to get it going that we are aware of) the error light disappears. We have taken it to the dealer but they state since they cannot recreate the error , happened at ~3k miles, ~10k miles, ~16k and last time ~24k and the error turns off once the car is able to go, they will not do anything.

My vehicle is affected by a serious safety defect involving engine fire risk. FCA US LLC Stellantis has issued a safety recall 78C/NHTSA 25V-766 for this condition and has publicly stated that the remedy for this condition is not currently available. I have been instructed to park outside and limit the use of the vehicle. This defect presents an unreasonable risk of fire and is unsafe and unreliable. A loss of drive power may result in a vehicle crash without prior warning. This defect poses a substantial impairment of use, value, and safety. This defect poses a substantial danger to life, health, and property. This defect constitutes a serious safety hazard, and FCA US LLC Stellantis has failed to provide a timely or effective repair remedy. Because no repair is currently available, the vehicle is unsafe to operate. Under Texas law, a manufacturer is not permitted unlimited time to develop a repair when a vehicle presents a dangerous condition. I have sent a demand letter on January 8, 2026 to FCA US LLC Stellantis, certified mail return receipt of my demand to buyback the vehicle at the paid purchase price, including sales tax, finance charges, down payment, registration fees, etc.

THIS IS A LEASED VEHICLE THAT HAS HAD 3 RECALLS : 2 RECALLS , THAT AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING, COULD BE SCHEDULE FOR A POTENTIAL FIX (DONE ON 12/31). THERE IS 1 THAT STILL HAS NO FIX. THESE ARE HIGHLY DANGERS RISKS (FIRES, EXPLOSIONS, COMPLETE SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING, ETC) THIS IS MY FAMILY VEHICLE, CHILDREN ARE IN THIS CAR. I AM CURRENTLY PAYING WELL MORE THAN THE CAR IS VALUED AT SINCE IT DEPRICIATED DO TO RISKS OF SAFTY, AND I AM RISKING MY CHILDREN'S AND MY OWN LIFE BELIEVING THAT THERE WILL BE A FIX AND I DONT EXPLODE TAKING THEM TO SCHOOL OR MYSELF TO WORK. THIS VEHICLE HAS SHUT DOWN ON ME TWICE IN 8 WEEKS BEFORE HAVING THE RECALLS THAT COULD BE DONE SCHEDULED. IT JUST DIES NO INTERIOR LIGHTS, NO WAY TO SHIFT IT OUT OF GEAR TO GET IT TO SAFE PLACE TO BE IN A DEAD VEHICLE. SINCE HAVING THE 2 RECALLS AND THE 12V LOOKED AT IT HAS BEEN RUNNING IN FORM MODE..NOT WHY YOU PURCHASE A HYBRID. JEEP CUSTOMER CARE IS A JOKE AND STALLANTIS (ALSO MY LEASING COMPANY) WILL ONLY RETUNS MY CALLS IF I “FORGET” TO MAKE PAYMENT BY THE 10TH OF THE MONTH…FINALLY FIGURED THAT OUT. MY GUESS IS A LEMON LAW ATTORNEY MAY BE THE ONLY WAY TO PROTECT MY FAMILY, SINCE THE ONLY ONES WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE CONCERS AND SAFTY OF MYSELF AND MY CHHILDRENS ARE THE DEALERSHIP. The manufacturer refuses to process the 68c recall. The car was purchased from a dealer in Canada in 2021. I purchased it in 2025 and imported it to Poland. Currently, the car is registered and used in Poland. The dealership refused to process it. He suggested I take the car to North America and have the recall performed there. It's possible to have the software related to the 68c recall installed at an independent repair shop in Poland, but if the battery needs to be replaced, Jeep won't do it. I tried contacting Jeep in the US to ask how to resolve this, but there's no email address or online form available. Given zip code is incorrect since this form do not allow to use forein zipcode. Please contact me via email address. Regards [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

While driving, the vehicle lost all propulsion and came to a stop. Fortunately my wife was able to pull to the side of the road safely. It has not been inspected because we believe it falls within the A7C recall for which there is no current remedy.

Steering Death Wobble, usually on bumpy type of roads. Has improved some after front end alignment. No safety risks so far but very scary. Dealer has not been able to reproduce it, only happens so often. No, only a mechanic shop has looked at the vehicle. No warning lights or messages came on before.

The power steering system experienced a sudden failure while the vehicle was in motion. Steering assist was lost without warning, causing a significant and immediate increase in steering effort. This created a serious safety hazard and I nearly lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle is a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with approximately 31,000 miles. There were no warning lights, messages, or symptoms prior to the failure. The loss of power steering occurred unexpectedly while driving. The vehicle was taken to an authorized Jeep dealership, where the issue was confirmed. The dealer stated the failure was related to two communication bus lines associated with the power steering system. The dealer is refusing warranty coverage and has quoted approximately $1,000 for repair. The failure directly impacted my ability to safely control the vehicle and posed a risk of crash, injury, or death to myself and others on the road. The vehicle is currently available for inspection upon request. The issue has been confirmed by the dealer, and no inspection by the manufacturer or other third parties has occurred at this time.

On Tuesday January 6 2026, I was driving my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. I noticed smoke coming out the engine. I pulled over to the side of the road to determine the problem. Upon exiting the vehicle, I saw flames coming from the undercarriage of the engine. The fire soon engulfed the vehicle. 911 was called. Police and Fire responded. The vehicle was destroyed in the fire. I have photos and videos of the fire and aftermath, taken once I exited the vehicle. I assume the fire is the result of the recent recall on the battery components of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe. The vehicle is currently in an impound lot and would be available for inspection upon request. I have notified Jeep and my insurance of the incident, but the jeep has not as of yet, been inspected by either entity. The fire was of great risk to myself. If I hadn't pulled over when I did who knows what might have occurred. In addition I had a full tank of gas so the vehicle could have exploded endangering other people, vehicles, and property. No warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem appeared prior to the failure. The vehicle had been operating as intended prior to smoke/fire. I have documentation of a service of the vehicle on Wednesday Dec 3, 2025 with Raidon's of Kirkland in which the performed recall services.

I own a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX] ). A high-voltage battery safety recall for fire risk was issued on October 30, 2025 (NHTSA 25V-741 / Stellantis 68C). From the date of the recall, I did not use the plug-in battery function as intended because of the fire-risk recall instructions. A remedy was not available until mid-December 2025. When I brought the vehicle in for the recall remedy, the battery failed the recall procedure/diagnostic and now requires a full high-voltage battery replacement. The vehicle will be out of service for approximately two weeks. This recall has prevented normal safe use of the PHEV battery function and has resulted in extended loss of use while awaiting battery replacement. My vehicle was previously subject to the earlier HV battery fire-risk recall(s), including NHTSA 24V-720 (FCA 95B) (and earlier NHTSA 23V-787 (FCA B9A)), before the newer battery recall campaign INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I am submitting this supplemental statement regarding my previously filed complaint involving a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. On November 8, 2025, I was involved in a crash that resulted in bodily injury, including head, neck, and back pain, and required post-accident inspection and towing. Despite the nature of the impact and the injuries sustained, the frontal airbag system did not deploy. The manufacturer, Stellantis, conducted an inspection through a third-party contractor and advised via email that the airbag system did not deploy because the deceleration threshold was allegedly not met. However, I have not been provided with the Event Data Recorder (EDR) data, crash pulse analysis, sensor performance evaluation, or the technical criteria relied upon to reach this conclusion. Given the vehicle damage, injuries sustained, and non-deployment of the frontal airbags, I am concerned that the airbag system may not have functioned as intended or that the deployment thresholds, sensor inputs, or system calibration may be defective or unreasonable. I respectfully request that NHTSA review this incident for potential safety defects related to airbag non-deployment, crash detection thresholds, sensor performance, or system logic in the 2022 Jeep Wrangler.
