Air conditioner continues to fail and break. I am going back to Honda to fix this issue and I will then have my 4th condenser put in this car. I have a baby on the way and my car has been paid off. Now I'll have to sell this car and get something different so I can actually have air conditioning that works. It was replaced 4 months ago and already I need a new condenser. It's a 2018 civic si so not even a old car by any means. Only 73k miles. Honda keeps replacing it with the recalled parts and it just happens over and over again. Shouldn't have to make a appointment every 4 months to fix the same issue over and over.

my steering wheel stiffens and requires and extra force to move it, causes me to swerve and also causes excessive swerving. I’m afraid of getting in an accident because of it. I am getting it checked soon. Highly annoying and concerning.

- My steering malfunctions. The steering becomes "notchy" which causes jerking motions rather than smooth turns. - Safety puts others at risk as steering becomes less than 100% accurate and smooth. - Brought it to dealer and they said they could not reproduce. Likely because the issue arises after driving for some time. - Dealer says they inspected and claims there is no issue. - No warnings, messages or other symptoms prior to steering malfunction.

AIR BAGS
While I was driving, a truck hit me from behind causing a 5 car accident. My car was unable to be driven from the scene. The radiator and front collision bar are very bent in, however my airbags did not deploy. The truck was going 60 mph when it hit me hard enough to cause another 3 cars to have damage. This is a potential issue for others and currently I have very bad neck and head pain from the accident. My car had a warning screen saying “check airbag system” after the accident.

Sticky steering wheel. At high speeds steering wheel gets stuck making it hard to stay in lane and unsafe to steer when switching lanes. Almost crashed due to it getting stuck.

AIR BAGS, SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I was driving down the highway near where I live in Hanford California the highway is 198. I was going 68, 69 mph. No one was on the road my car literally slammed on its brakes and jerked to the right.this has happened 2times I have turned off the assist I’m to afraid it will happen again. I am bringing it into the dealership tomorrow and also have them check my airbags the light in the dashboard intermittently keeps coming on then after a bit it will turn off. The first time I brought it in for the airbag lights coming on they informed me that it was due to me pulling the seat back to far I am 5 foot four. I don’t normally pull the seat back. It would be more closer to the steering wheel for me, but there was a problem supposedly with the connection that is under the seat it doesn’t make me feel too safe to think that me moving. My seat is going to prevent my airbags from deploying God for bid if I get into an accident.

•"BREAK SYSTEM" light appeared while driving and is available for inspection. •My risk was high due to the fact of "BRAKE SYSTEM" and "SEE YOUR DEALER" message. •Honda dealership confirmed of a gearbox issue and recommended not to drive it due to the fact that the steering wheel can lock at anytime during driving. •I noticed my steering wheel was very sensative and starting hearing a clicking noise during driving.

STEERING, LANE DEPARTURE: ASSIST
While driving at different speeds, my steering has started sticking, causing over corrections that make it extremely difficult to stay in my lane. The stickiness first appreared early this year with the occasional stickiness and would resolve itself randomly. In the past month, it has significant increased and is now a constant issue which now includes a popping or clicking sound when making slights corrections. There were NO warning lights on my dash to indicate a problem. On my way home from a doctors appt yesterday, the issue became so bad that i couldn’t stay in my lane due to the over corrections. I immediately stopped at the closest dealer and said my car is unsafe to drive and they must look at it. This morning the dealer called to inform me that my power steering rack has failed….In my 2022!!!!!! He also said the Honda care package I bought for issue like this may not even cover this issue!!

Our car is a 2017 Honda Civic. We bought it new in November 2016. While driving, it came to our attention there was something wrong with the steering of the car. Steering feels too loose and at times it locks up. We took it in to be assessed and were told the steering gearbox needed to be replaced. The car went in for repair of the steering gearbox. Encountering costly power steering rack repairs should not be expected in a car with low mileage and age.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Civic. The contact stated while her boyfriend was driving approximately at 35 MPH and approaching another vehicle, he depressed the brake pedal, but the brake pedal became soft, and the vehicle failed to respond as needed. The vehicle crashed into the rear of the other occupied vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The air bags deployed. There were no injuries sustained. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 71,000. The VIN was unavailable.

STEERING
While driving the car the steering wheel sticks and you have to use more force to turn the wheel which causes you to overcorrect and it does not feel safe. The problem has not been confirmed by a dealer simply because I have read online articles seeing many other people have this problem. There were no warning lamps ever activated and the problem first occurred around 50,000 miles and has continued or even gotten worse since then.

STEERING
The steering wheel gets “sticky”. It gets stuck in one place and a lot of force has to be used to turn the wheel. This only happens at higher speeds (highway/freeway) or after approx 30 mins of the car being on. The steering is not smooth, it gets very sticky and really jerky causing me to overcorrect a lot.

My 2019 Honda Civic is experiencing paint chipping on the mirrors and door handles. I've noticed others reporting similar problems. The paint is literally bubbling off. When I contacted Honda of America, they acknowledged that it's atypical and indicative of a product defect, but stated they couldn't assist as it's out of warranty and no recalls have been issued at this time. It’s crazy to me a car that spends the majority of the time in a garage has this type of issue. Keep in mind that I live in Southern California where we don’t experience much in the realm of harsh weather.
