The infotainment touchscreen experiences ‘ghost touching,’ where the screen activates functions without driver input. The system randomly changes screens, activates apps, changes music/navigation, and becomes unresponsive while driving. This creates a significant driver distraction and safety concern. The issue occurs intermittently and has continued despite troubleshooting/reset attempts. Dealership acknowledged the issue as ‘ghost touch.’ Very disappointing that this isnt a recall. Having this problem not even 6 months after purchasing this car for over 30k

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2012 Honda Accord. The contact discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase the vehicle mileage wa47,000,p=and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 238, 629. A Carfax report was obtained with the same mileage. The contact sent a message and left a voice mail message but there was no response. The contact received an unusual high quote from the insurance company. The contact's son sent a text to the seller but they did not respond. There was no other agency contacted.

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at 59 MPH, another vehicle ahead of the vehicle in front of hers unexpectedly stopped, causing a three-vehicle rear-ended collision. The contact depressed the brake pedal, but the vehicle failed to stop. The front driver's side air bag deployed, but the side air bags did not deploy. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact did not sustain any injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a vehicle lot but was not deemed totaled by the insurance company. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 153,389.

I own a 2018 Honda Accord equipped with the 1.5L turbo engine. The vehicle is experiencing a head gasket failure consistent with numerous complaints reported by other Honda owners online and through NHTSA. My vehicle began showing symptoms including rough cold starts, engine misfires, loss of coolant without visible leaks, and reduced engine performance. Diagnostic testing indicated head gasket failure and coolant intrusion into the cylinders. The repair cost quoted to me is extremely expensive. This appears to be a widespread defect affecting 2018 Honda Accord 1.5T vehicles. Many owners are reporting similar failures at relatively low mileage, often involving cylinder misfires, overheating, coolant loss, and major engine damage. This issue creates a potential safety hazard because the vehicle can suddenly lose power, enter limp mode, or stall while driving. Honda should investigate this issue and provide assistance or recall coverage for affected vehicles. I would like to report a potential safety concern involving the Evenflo Revolve360 Slim 2-in-1 Rotational Car Seat. My child is [XXX] old and is able to independently press the harness release/loosening button located between her legs while seated in the car seat during normal vehicle operation. Once she presses the button, she is able to lean forward, loosen the harness straps significantly, and climb out of the seat on her own while the vehicle is in motion. This has happened repeatedly during everyday use and not during a crash. My concern is that the harness release mechanism is too accessible to a young child and allows the child to defeat the restraint system while riding in the vehicle. I am concerned that if this occurred during a collision or sudden stop, my child could be seriously injured or ejected from the seat due to the loosened harness. The seat has been used according to manufacturer instructions to the best of my knowledge. I believe this may represent a design or safety issue that should be reviewed further. I am submitting this complaint because I believe other caregivers may experience the same issue, and I am concerned about the risk of injury associated with a child being able to loosen the harness independently during normal travel. Radio has recently starting making deafening static after driving for about 15 miles. Cannot reduce the horrible noise with volume control or by changing from radio to BT or USB or any other Source option. It is EXTREMELY loud to the point where I think it will affect my hearing...not to mention extremely distracting to be trying to drive with that deafening noise. This is very dangerous!!! I searched online and I see a number of other complaints about this exact issue. PLEASE issue a recall and force Honda to deal with it. I see that it is likely heat related, and I live in [XXX] --the issue seems to be happening more frequently and we are now heading into the brutal summer and I am worried that the car will become undrivable soon. This car has well known issues with the infotainment system probably since it came out and nothing has been fixed. There are constant ghost touches/glitching, especially when it gets hotter outside. Now after owning it for a year, Apple CarPlay freaks out. I’ll be listening to music and then suddenly the screen goes black. The buttons still work on the blacked out screen but nothing will pop back up. I had my dealership take a look and this is an ongoing issue with Honda. I’ve seen car forums talk about the same thing for years and nothing is being resolved permanently. This can be a distraction safety hazard. My other issue is the lane keep assist. It doesn’t detect lanes very well, especially if it’s faded or has sealed cracks. I could be driving the freeway speed limit and then the car suddenly brakes hard. I’m lucky no one was directly behind me when these incidents have happened or else I would’ve been rear-ended. Safety hazard for both complaints.

2025 Honda Accord Hybrid experiences a severe, loud knocking noise when turning the steering wheel while stationary or at low speeds. The dealership attempted to grease the components but the mechanical knock remains. This is a known EPS/steering rack defect on the 11th generation Accord and poses a steering failure/binding safety risk at highway speeds.

the steering on the '25 Hybrid Sport L is a little loose? Even small movements make the car drift, and it's hard to keep it straight. the feels like the car won’t track straight. The Lane keep assist does not work like the 10th gen. It’s like a ping pong bouncing off the lines. Who’s experiencing this as well.

My car started blinking the Check engine light when I am going 40-50 mph. Got the vehicle scanned and the code showed “misfire cylinder 4” so i replaced the spark plugs and the coil on cylinder 4. Vehicle ran fine for about 3 weeks. Same issue happened again. I did research and found that alot of honda vehicles with the 1.5 turbo has had head gasket issues. I took it to a mechanic and got it diagnosed. There was no coolant when they checked as well as put the camera down cylinder 4 and seen fluids in the cylinder

"A manufacturer Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware deployment has caused a root-level cryptographic security certificate mismatch between the Audio Unit and the central CAN Gateway, matching Honda Tech Line Article A29051. This network failure has forced the vehicle's VSP (Vehicle Sound Device for Pedestrians) Safety Module into a permanent hard offline (NG) state, operating the vehicle out of compliance with FMVSS No. 141. The manufacturer (American Honda Case #[Your Case Number]) and authorized dealership (Heritage Honda Parkville) have been provided video proof but have actively refused to schedule the vehicle for a high-priority warranty repair or issue a safe alternative loaner vehicle, leaving a safety defect active on public roads."

My car infotainment system keeps on having a "Ghost Touch" and it keeps on being a distraction when im using the GPS and it is a hazard being on the road especially in [XXX] where drivers are reckless. Other people have been having same issue, at least 80% that i have seen in person and online. This should be on a recall or at least have honda figure out the issue since theyre selling there cars over 30k+ it should st least be working for a good while and not a hazard on the road.
