Customers may also experience the following: ? **Driveline bumps and rumbles when lightly applying the accelerator pedal in traffic or at other low vehicle speeds such as parking lot maneuvers.** ? Transmission hard upshifts, rough/bump during low gear 1-2 and 2-3 at 40-64 kph (25-40 mph). This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.

Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: ? P1404 - EGR Close Position Performance. ? P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak. NOTE: If DTC P0456 is present use the wiTECH Small Leak Verification test (SLVT) to determine if a leak is present in the system. In addition, the customer may notice one or more of the following conditions: ? **Power Take Off (PTO) disable to high engine oil temperature (DD DP Only).** ? Abrupt gear engagement when transitioning from Park to Drive/Reverse gear state in Power Takeoff (PTO) Mode. ? Vehicle hesitation or surge at low vehicle speeds. ? Engine hesitation when turning steering wheel to end stop. ? Powertrain bump or hesitation around 16-24 kph (10-15 mph) vehicle speed. May be reported as rough or harsh transmission shifting in the same vehicle speed range This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software.

NOTE: P1404 - EGR Position Sensor Rationality Closed DTC can be erroneously set when P2457 -Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooling System Performance DTC is set. In addition, the customer may notice one or more of the following conditions: ? **Power Take Off (PTO) disable to high engine oil temperature (DD DP with DF3 Only).** ? In PTO mode, transmission gear engagement is abrupt and idle speed is high when transitioning From Park To Drive/Reverse Gear. This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.
