SummarySome 2025-2026 Aviator/Explorer/Expedition/F-150/Mustang Mach-E/Nautilus/Navigator vehicles may exhibit the hands-free BlueCruise feature intermittently/consistently unavailable when BlueCruise is active and when traveling in a "Blue Zone". Speed sign recognition may also be inaccurate. If there are no active relevant diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) present and the issue persists after multiple key cycles and if the BlueCruise System Health Check passes, download and run the "TCU - Reset Telematics Control Unit (TCU) Module" application using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). If the condition is resolved, inform customers that this may be a temporary fix and engineering is currently working on a solution expected in Q4 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. For claiming, use causal 14G229 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4. If the condition persists after a test drive, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-03B for normal

SummarySome 2021-2026 Ford/Lincoln vehicles may exhibit various symptoms including but not limited to the auto start/stop system not operating as intended with a "Check Charging System" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) while the charging system is operating properly with no charging related diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. This may be due to someone using an aftermarket programmer to change the body control module (BCM) configuration to disable the auto start/stop system or perform other unsupported programming modifications. To correct this condition on F-150 and Bronco vehicles, download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application titled "BCM-Charging System Configuration Correction". Running this application will determine if the BCM configuration was modified by the customer and if so, provide the option to return the configuration back to factory settings. For other vehicle models exhibiting concerns related to unsupported aftermarket BCM programming, submit a Technical Support Request (TSR) requesting support to revert the BCM configuration

SummarySome 2024-2025 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit an intermittent false alarm activation. This may be due to the software in the body control module (BCM). Monitor the BCM alarm event parameter identifications (PID). If ALARM_EVT_1/2/3/4 show a value of "Interior Motion Detected", reprogram the BCM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal 15604 and labor operations 12651D and BCM. If ALARM_EVT_1/2/3/4 does not show a value of "Interior Motion Detected", refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-01A > Diagnosis and Testing > Pinpoint Test E (False Alarm Activation) for normal diagnostics and repair as necessary outside of this article.

SummarySome 2024-2026 Nautilus vehicles may exhibit a condition where the intrusion alarm will activate without an external source. This may be due to software in the body control module (BCM). Reprogramming or replacing the BCM or intrusion sensor may not resolve this condition. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q3 2026. SummarySome 2024-2026 Nautilus vehicles equipped with an 8F35 transmission may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P0767, P0766 and/or P2703 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) and harsh/no reverse engagement. This may be due to the selectable one-way clutch (SOWC). To correct the condition, remove the transmission. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-01. Disassemble the transmission only far enough to access the SOWC. Refer to WSM, Section 307-01 > Overhaul and perform Steps 24-65. The transmission range (TR) sensor does not have to be removed. Remove the SOWC assembly, disassemble the A-clutch and discard the SOWC. Refer to WSM, Section 307-01 > Overhaul and perform Steps 164-170. Assemble the new SOWC with the A-clutch components. Refer to WSM, Section 307-01 > Overhaul and perform Steps 173-179. The A-clutch seals can be reused unless damaged. Install the new SOWC and reverse the procedure to reassemble the transmission. SummarySome 20242026 Nautilus vehicles may have previously exhibited unsuccessful programmable module installation (PMI) starting with a CallGetRestore Invalid hardware error message, when using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) to program a new door latch control module E (DCME), door latch control module F (DCMF), door latch control module G (DCMG), and/or door latch control module H (DCMH). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U211B may also be stored in the door latch control module. The programming concern has been corrected. Download and run the applicable PMI application again using the latest software version of the FDRS scan tool. Make sure to follow any remaining steps to complete the door latch installation and programming. SummarySome 2024-2026 Nautilus non-hybrid and 2025-2026 Aviator vehicles equipped with 28 radio speakers (minor feature code IDBBN) and 2025-2026 Navigator vehicles may exhibit a no audio/sound condition with no communication with the audio digital signal processing module (DSP) with U0238 stored in the audio control module (ACM). This may be due to the DSP. To determine if the DSP is the root cause, remove the DSP fuse from the battery junction box (BCMC fuse F40 for Aviator, BCMC fuse F138 for Nautilus, BJB fuse F5 for Navigator). Inspect the fuse for an open and make sure the fuse has proper blade contact. After one minute, reinstall the good fuse. If the concern is still present or a fuse concern is found, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00 for normal diagnostics. If communication has been re-established with the DSP, install a new DSP ordered from Ford Component Sales using the On-Line 1878 form to correct this condition. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00. For claiming, use causal part 18B849 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D13.

SummarySome 2024-2026 Nautilus and 2025-2026 Explorer/Aviator vehicles equipped with power autofold exterior mirrors may exhibit concerns with the passenger mirror not automatically folding in or out at times, while the driver side mirror automatically folds properly. This may be due to the software in the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM). To correct the condition, reprogram the DDM and PDM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. SummarySome 2024-2025 Lincoln Nautilus vehicles built on or before 17-Jul-2025 and equipped with continuous controlled damping (CCD) suspension (feature code DWAA9) may exhibit a clunk, rattle, knock, or thump noise from the rear suspension over bumps at lower speeds. To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by clicking "Additional Information" under Vehicle ID Tab > Vehicle Information, or double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner on Professional Technician System (PTS). In some instances, the noise can be reproduced by a jounce test of the rear suspension on a level surface. This may be due to a concern with the rear shock absorbers. If a noise is confirmed from the rear shock absorbers, replace both shock absorbers. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 204-02 > Removal and Installation > Rear Shock Absorber. For claiming, use causal part 18125 and labor operation 18125AT.
