While approaching a red traffic signal at speed, I went to apply brakes and the brake pedal had no resistance and failed to slow the vehicle. Immediately several alarms sounded and lights illuminated on the dash board. I was able to slow the vehicle with repeated brake attempts and swiftly moving to the right turn lane where I could navigate a turn and come to a complete stop after coasting. Dashboard indicated: Pre-collision assist not available, antilock brake fault, service AdvanceTrac, and check brake system.

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal became soft while attempting to stop the vehicle. The contact examined the vehicle and discovered that the brake fluid reservoir was empty, and the brake line fitting was not properly secured, causing brake fluid to leak from the brake lines. The brake line fitting was secured by the contact and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 3,000.

Ear-splitting static-like noise upon starting the truck. Followed by loud static that would persist even when audio was turned off. Extremely distracting while driving. Took to dealer who said nothing to be done until Ford figures out a fix. Told me to keep checking back. No warning lamps or messages. I wish Ford to put a higher priority on fixing this issue. 2022 F150.

My car should have been included in the recall to replace the heated steering wheel with this vehicle. Ford has decided that because they did not put a heating element in my steering wheel yet I got charged the $4000 for it and only got $140 credit. I do not think that is fair and should get it upgraded as the 2023 Ford F150 have except for my truck

Good day, I am experiencing a leak from the front differential pinion seal on my vehicle. This leak appears to be a common issue based on reports from other owners in various online forums and owner groups. The front differential transfers power from the transmission to the front wheels. A leak from the pinion seal can cause a loss of differential fluid, which could lead to premature wear and eventual failure of the front differential components. If the front differential fails while driving, it could cause a loss of control of the vehicle and increase the risk of a crash or collision. This poses a significant safety hazard to myself, my passengers, and other vehicles on the road. I am requesting that Ford Motor Company acknowledge this issue and take corrective action by issuing a recall or service bulletin to inspect and repair/replace the faulty front differential pinion seals on affected vehicles. Allowing this defect to persist is unacceptable from a quality and safety standpoint. A front differential failure caused by this leak could result in serious vehicle damage, injuries, or fatalities. Please investigate this matter thoroughly and require Ford to address this safety defect before it leads to additional vehicle failures and potential accidents. Thank you!

Unknown which component is failing. It started with a rumble while accelerating or coasting but goes away when I shift into neutral so I believe that is the transmission. Other issues that are occurring randomly, speedometer will change indication to slower speed than I am actually going or it will drop to 0 while I am driving. Alerts and faults that have shown at the same time the speedometer goes out are: Powertrain fault, ABS, Forward Collision Warning, Parking Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Keeping Assistance, Cross Traffic Warning. Also a random metallic spinning noise coming from under the truck. It has been in the dealer garage 5 times now.

I was in the process of turning onto a two lane road when all of a sudden I heard an incredibly loud noise, much like speakers blowing out that seemed to be progressively getting louder. I remained calm. I tried to turn down volume on the speakers and it would not stop the loud sound. I put the truck in park and turned off the truck. That did not work so I turned it on and off again and the noise stopped. The volume was not working at all after this happened. I was completely confused because I didn't understand what happened or why. The sound was excruciating and fortunately when this happened I was able to safely put the truck in park and turn it on and off. If I were in traffic or driving that would probably not be possible. I can see this easily causing an accident if someone is in traffic and panics. I immediately called the dealer after this happened. They said they had not heard of this happening before. I presented them with this article I found in the WSJ - "Ford Confronts Strange, Ear-Piercing Static in F-150 Trucks, Drivers have complained to federal regulators of abnormal noise coming from the vehicle’s speakers", By Ryan Felton & Nora Eckert. This article states the noise was recorded so loud as to damage hearing. There are many complaints about this happening online as well and something should be done. This is without question a safety issue and there should be a mandatory recall.

Engine shut down while traveling down a mountain with a 4.8% grade at 50 mph; the transmission was in 3rd gear to contain the speed with no pressure on the brakes. There was an initial chime as when the vehicle is first turned ON, followed by the wipers traveling halfway up the windshield, all screens went completely dark as if the vehicles key had also been turned OFF. Brakes were initially soft and then on subsequent push came back. Vehicle went through it's normal power up cycle and then engine restarted as I was still traveling at a good speed down the mountain. The engine has shut off on it's own before with all screens going dark while sitting at stop lights. To get it restarted I had to put the vehicle in park, press the brake and push the start button. I assumed this issue was with the auto start/stop feature and now always drive with it selected off. I've never had this issue with it off. This was the first time the issue happened while the truck was in gear and moving. The auto Start/Stop feature was ON. For previous issues I've had the Ford dealership check it and no error codes or issues were found.

The AC stops blowing and cooling at an adequate speed after driving for a period of time. The safety issue is that while the blower is malfunctioning, it cannot defog/defrost the windshield.

A/C and hvac system does not work properly. On lowest setting you have somewhat cool air and once you turn dial to 60 degrees it’s heat. This is unsafe because I can not regulate the temperature in vehicle correctly whatsoever and trying to defrost windows is also a nightmare. The air conditioning is also not even cold enough on its lowest setting. Multiple people are having same issues with 2022-2023 f150s

I was driving at about 40mph and everything shut off for about 5 seconds. It was long enough for all the gages on the instrument cluster to go to their off positions. The desolation screen went blank as did the infotainment system and all lights.

Harsh downshifts in 10R80 transmission. Unpredictable shifting. Significant clunking while driving. Vehicle less than 1 year old and I bought it brand new. Issue has been happening since I bought it. Ford dealer ran TSB 24-2070 software update on it yesterday. This transmission is dangerous in my opinion and Ford should be held accountable. No warning signs, nothing at all. Dealer claimed there were no DTC’s stored. Ford should be replacing this transmission and fixing the problem.
