ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
Since I have purchased the 2022 Ford F-150 I have had several incidents where the cruise control has set itself. A couple incidents have resulted in me slamming on the brakes to avoid collision. I have taken it to the dealer a few times and they have replaced everything that has to do with the cruise control and it still sets itself from time to time but it's sporadic. The dash lights/instrument cluster has went completely out 2-3 time and came back on. When it does come back on the drive mode disabled light is on and I can't change the drive modes. The entertainment/map screen has froze up several time. The map will freeze and I can't change the music or do anything on the screen.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
The contact leases a 2024 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the vehicle was under a trial subscription for the driver assistance system BlueCruise, which included the driver-attention system. The contact stated that while driving at night and wearing his medical eyeglasses, the BlueCruise driver-attention system failed to see through the contact's eyeglasses and could not determine that the contact was awake, which caused the vehicle to jerk several times. Additionally, the messages "Watch the Road" and "Resume Control" were displayed, and the hazard lights were engaged. The contact stated that the BlueCruise system then disengaged independently, causing the Adaptive Cruise Control, the Lake Keep Assist, and the Lane Centering Assist to disengage. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring while driving. The contact stated that the BlueCruise system automatically engaged when the Adaptive Cruise Control mode was engaged and could not be overridden. The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer for assistance. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 100.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed during a rainstorm, the driver’s side windshield wiper detached from the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V163000 (Visibility). The dealer confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and also confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 58,500.

POWER TRAIN
The automatic 10 speed transmission 10R80 covered by TSB24-2176 will violently downshift or upshift causing passengers and contents of the vehicle to be thrown around the vehicle. This happens at random events, sometimes while accelerating, sometimes while decelerating, and without warning, which leads to violent decelerating and lurching on the road, which is a safety concern in heavy traffic. The transmission has been serviced 3 times by Ford of Homewood, twice under warranty and once out of warranty (60K powertrain) but there is no fix or remedy to repair this issue. I own several other identical 10 speed equipped trucks that operate fine, perhaps a bit jerky with shifting, but this truck is a safety hazard that cannot be repaired.

POWER TRAIN
Starting at roughly 2000 on the odometer the truck began shifting very harshly, missing gears, slipping gears, lurching forward during shifts. Upon acceleration through the first four or so gears, there is a very loud "thunking" sound presumably upon shift. There have been 4-5 times I was turning across traffic at a safe distance, and the truck would not accelerate, missing several gears. I was almost hit hard several times because of the truck failing to drive. Dealership turned me away 3 times, saying they would not be able to diagnose anything without a CEL code. Since the truck doesn't throw any fault codes they would not take it in for troubleshooting or attempt to reproduce the issue. The issues were reproduced by a local shop I took the truck to for a third party opinion. The loud thunk was thought to be too low a lubricant level on the slip yoke where the drive shaft meets the transmission. The shop checked and there was sufficient lubricant. They reproduced the thunk sound driving slowly with several technicians witnessing the issue standing within sight distance. These known and reproducible issues with the 10R80 transmission and there have been an exorbitant number of reports of this behavior in owner message groups, all with the same lack of resolution. Dealerships either don't fix the issue, won't troubleshoot without a CEL code, or say the transmission is working as designed.

Multiple times the acceleration has stuck and would not release when hitting the brakes. I have to stick my foot under the accelerator and lift the petal to get acceleration to stop. Without physically lifting the petal it would appear this continues indefinitely.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
When I use the cruise control and set it at a speed, it will maintain that set speed for a period of time and then the set speed will randomly jump up 10 to 20 miles an hour and reset the speed faster. So if I set it at 70 miles an hour. It jumps up to 80 or 85 and once even jumped up to 90 mph. The first time I told this to a Service person they told me that’s normal. The car went in and supposedly they fixed it, but it is still doing it.

SUSPENSION, WHEELS
The wheel wells on the front of my vehicle do not properly fit the well. One has been replaced twice the other once and recently the dealer made the decision to cut the wheel wells so they would no longer rub. I was told it was the best they could do. The other choice is to keep replacing them when they fail. I am concerned that somthing from the road may fly up in their and get lodged in the exposed under section. I feel there should be another alternative but Ford doesn't want to pay to get a resolution. If those well covers were not needed they wouldn't have them n their in the 1st place. So I know they are needed.

BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING, UNKNOWN OR OTHER
The 360 camara does not always come on for several minutes after starting up. This prevents me from using the bachup canera and therefore I ciuld run over something or somebody when backing out of my garage or out if a parking spot. I have taken the truck in to to different dealers and all they say is they can't duplicate the problem. I even show them a viseo of it happening to me but say they have to see it to fix it. I see all of the ford SUV's are on recall, so wht aren't the F150's? This is a very dangerous situation that needs to be corrected asap. I swe many owners on tge internet with the same problem. Please help!

I recently took my truck to the dealer because I have been experiencing a clicking and rattling noise that I believe is coming from the drivetrain. The service adviser stated to me , "According to Ford , this is a normal condition and there is nothing to be fixed." The same problem/condition that I am experiencing is described in NHSTA Campaign ID 23V896000 which appears to be Ford Recall # 23S65. What should I do ?

Vehicle lost power while driving on highway requiring vehicle to be guided to shoulder. Once on shoulder, truck died and would not restart. After being towed to dealership, the vehicle was found to have a failed fuel pump. At the time of the incident, vehicle had 27671 miles on odometer.

- Component: Air conditioning system. - Safety: A/C failure in summer heat conditions over 90 degrees. - This a known Ford issue with thousands of complaints and not resolution. Ford does not want to repair issue. - Ford dealership - Symptoms: AC blower can be heard ramping up but no air is coming through the vents. ** This an on-going issue with Ford that they are failing to rectify. My 2023 Ford F-150 has less than 7k miles and the A/C has already stopped functioning. The compressor and A/C components are freezing up and not allowing air into the cabin. This is a safety issue when temperatures are in the 90's in the south. Ford has not taken responsibility and has failed to correct the problem. There are several blogs and complaint websites with consumers complaining about the same issues. Something must done. I made an appointment and Ford did not want to repair. Please take action and issue a recall.

After running for an extended period of time, the heating/cooling vents stop blowing air. If this happens while the windshield is icing up or fogging and the defrost vent isn't blowing air, this could be catastrophic.

Weatherstripping on sunroof is deteriorating. This could affect the safety of the driver as well as any passengers in the vehicle if it was to start leaking. Furthermore, if water entered the cabin it could affect any electrical components that might interfere with the driving of the vehicle thus causing a safety hazard to any vehicles that would be nearby if this was to happen. The vehicle was taken to the local Ford dealership on 5/29/2024 for inspection. The repair was denied because the whole sunroof would need to be replaced in order to fix the weatherstripping. No one else has looked at the weatherstripping. It was first noticed on 5/24/2024.

About two blocks after leaving my house I made a right turn from a stop sign into a heavily traveled street. I completed the turn and while the truck was upshifting it got stick in a lower gear around 20 MPH in traffic and would not upshift causing the engine to rev around 5,500 RPM's. After a few taps on the accelerator pedal it finally shifted and I was able to resume to normal speed. The above situation could have resulted in an accident.

SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Truck was repair as per the recall of the emergency brake however is still applying the parking brake again and took it to have it scan but ford dealer ship says they don't find no codes or anything saying it does and I'm just scared of continuing to put myself and my family at risk when is still applying the emergency brake whenever it wants. So far has done it over 3 times in a period of a few moths after the recall was supposedly been done for that same reason. On the picture I'm posting here is the invoice of the repair of the recall. Is in Spanish part of it but all the numbers of the recall are there
