POWER TRAIN
I have owned my 2015 F150 SPORT 2.7 ECO BOOST since it was new, and occasionally it downshift's mainly in town from 5th gear to 1st gear. I thought this was my fault until I heard about the safety concern. I have mentioned it to ford, but was told that downshift's were normal? Transmission will change gears while driving. I can be driving 45 mph in traffic, truck will automatically shift and I'm now going 15 and cannot speed up. There is no warning lites on dash before issue occurs. Called dealership who had no solutions to offer. I cannot be the only one experiencing this issue from reading online forums and Ford needs to be held accountable for faulty equipment. This is a safety issue in traffic for my family.

POWER TRAIN
While driving at random times trans will go into a limp mode and have only 3 gear speeds. Sometimes either a wrench symbol will come up or a check engine light will come one. When this happens it’ll stay in a limp mode til ignition is cycled for it to reset. Also while at low speeds it has dropped me from 4th gear to 1st.

This os a complaint Ford knows that at some point this is goign out. I have only 45k on i. I called ford and they will do nothign to prevent it goign out. When this breaks or malfunstions the car can go into 1st gear at 60+ miles and hour which could be life threatening. If the recall is for 150,000 miles it should be honored no matter the Age most everyone reports a problem around 85-120k miles. They know hw ot fix it and they know it is life threatnening here is the ford info. I am afraid ot drive my truck and cannot afford to prevent it. I bought the truck from a dealer. Transmission malfunction by sudden downshifting to first gear at highway speeds. This caused my rear wheels to lock up and skid as if I had slammed on the brakes and temporary lose control of the vehicle, which is extremely dangerous on the highway. It has occurred multiple times. There were no warning lights the first several times this happened. They check engine light did come on after about the 6th time it occurred.

Know CDF drum issue starts with hard shifting but now when driving at highway speeds the gear shifter will show it goes from 10th gear to first gear to second gear. Sometimes the engine will actually down shift for a moment. Secondly at low speeds the truck will shift from 3rd to 1st gear causing the truck to lurch forward.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
My rearview backup camera blacks out won't load, cuts off and on. When in drive it still takes a while for it to still load the radio and navigation. It blacks out and won't load when I start the truck. By the time I back up, still not loading, and start to drive it takes a few minutes maybe 10 for it to finally start working and displaying the navigation and the radio. I've had this issue for a while. And if other makes and models are having the same issues, it has to also be affecting my make and model being it's the same issue.

1st incident: shift lever on centre consul " froze" in recessed position and vehicle could not be shifted into gear. Mileage at 500. 2nd incident: Mileage at 1600. With engine running, shift lever " froze" in reverse gear and couldn't be moved. If this happen on a busy street or highway, something serious could occur, even life threatening.

This recall has been out since August of 2024, this recall is extremely serious and should not be taken lightly, a remedy should absolutely already be developed!!!!!!!!!! This can cause serious accidents resulting in death especially at a high rate of speed!!!!!! Solve this issue!!!!!

We purchased this vehicle approximately 6 months ago. On our second long trip of owning it we noticed that when we would give it gas to pass vehicles it would down shift and up shift hard. No warning/error lights came on. We dud have a diagnostic check done but nothing came up. The mechanic at Nicely's said it could be the clutch bank? I read where these similar trucks are having the same issues with shifting and there are some recalls on them. Please help..my warranty was only good for 6 months therefore expired. Where and how to we go from here.

10 speed power train down shifts when trying to increase in speed. throw me almost into windshield. The Purvis ford would not even take it in to fix it. had to take it in a transmission shop at cost 8K for new power train. they claim they seen hundreds of the 10 speed in for repair.

POWER TRAIN
Truck was going down the highway at 75mph when the transmission went from 10th gear to 1st. I have videos of this happening several times and then eventually a gear symbol appeared on dash. From day 1 when I bought the truck new it would have a hard time shifting from 3rd to 4th gear. It would lung forward or not even shift and the truck would just roll forward trying to figure out what gear it is in. I've taken the truck in to multiple dealers and all they would ever do is reset the computer. Once I took the truck in for the 10th to 1st gear issue. I told the new dealership I went to about the 3 and 4 issue. The service advisor said his trcuk had the same issue and he was able to get it fixed under warranty but I was already out of the warranty so they couldn't do anything about the 3 and 4 issue. For the shifting from 10 to 1. They rebuilt the transmission and put some locking device to keep fluid flowing into the case. Since the repair that I had to pay out of pocket for. I still have the 3 and 4 shifting problem. Only happens on cold starts when I'm accelerating up or down a hill. The new issue I'm now having is a hard shifting into reverse. Ford keeps telling me I don't qualify for any reimbursement because I'm outside of the warranty limit, even though, the truck every time I took into a Ford dealership for oil changes, I would complain about the transmission and they would just say it's a known issue but nothing they can do about it. Also after the transmission rebuilt, about 2,000 miles after, driving on the freeway, smoke was billowing out of the bed and transmission fluid was leaking out of the case all underneath the truck. The truck was towed back to dealership and they just said it was filled with too much transmission fluid.

Vehicle will downshift from 10th gear to 1st gear at highway speeds. Vehicle lunges forward after stoplight restarts. 3rd to 4th and 9th to 10th gear shifts are extremely delayed and transmission slips during shifts. Transmission makes very loud noises and clunks when driven. Transmission lags and delays when going into reverse.
