  The ambient temperature sensor mounted on the mirror may read higher than expected, sensor must NOT be removed before reviewing the following cases. There are two cases: 1) DTC codes are present, proceed according to the following TSBs: 1.1) 18-031-25 (25 MY DT with DTC: P0071-00 & P0073-00) 1.2) 18-032-25 (25 MY DT with DTC: P0071-00 & P0073-00 for vehicles built on or after July 01, 2024 and before July 29, 2025) 1.3) 08-357-25 (26 MY DT with DTC: P0071-00 & P0073-00) 2) No DTC codes are present, but temperature shown in the cluster/radio is higher than expected, proceed according to SOL S2508000078. To allow the sensor to update properly, drive the vehicle at highway speeds (above 20 MPH) for several miles (15 minutes). This ensures sufficient airflow and temperature sampling for accurate readings. If the temperature still does not update, proceed with standard diagnostic procedures.

Customers may experience one or more of the following: ● Vehicle speed limited to 157 KPH (98 MPH). ● A potential to stall when coming to a stop with an immediate restart. If the engine were to stall while stopping, a message would display in the cluster informing the driver to shift to park to restart the engine. This bulletin involves Inspecting and possibly reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software.

  Dealer technicians have reported failures involving camshaft cap bolts breaking within the cylinder head assembly. This can lead to damage to camshaft towers, camshafts, and other cylinder head components. In many cases, the entire long block has been replaced unnecessarily. Do NOT replace the entire long block unless absolutely necessary. Perform a thorough inspection and replace only the cylinder head assembly if the damage is localized.
