The following occurred in a 2022 Ford F150 Raptor with less than 500 miles. As soon as I put the car in drive and turned out of the parking lot, there was a huge boom that sounded like an explosion. I assumed that something had burst or all of my glass was shattered and the sound of loud crackling noises could be heard coming from the speakers. After the explosion-like sound, I was unable to hear for some time and I nearly went deaf. Regardless of whether I turned the audio on or off, the loud crackling noise would not go away. without delay The service manager afterwards contacted me and told me that the sound system needed to be reconfigured after I drove to the dealer to demonstrate the problem.

The audio system suddenly put out loud static noises from the speakers. The volume level was so excessive, I felt my ear drums were going to be damaged. This could have caused an accident if driving since the noise was so instant and loud. I had to turn off the vehicle to eliminate the noise. I read that several others have complained of this with no resolution yet. My vehicle is available for inspection. I have not notified my dealer or others yet since this occured in the evening. That was some minor static from the vehicle before this occurred.

At 300 miles, air conditioner lines froze up. Took to dealer; wouldn't fix it. At 700 miles, air conditioner lines froze up again. In 100+ temps outside, this is a safety issue the dealer refuses to fix.

Noticed when the vehicle was already in motion and accelerating to get up to the street speed the truck all of a sudden starts shaking in the back. The shaking was not only in the back but in the front also. I called Ford and they stated there was nothing wrong with it. If that’s the case the explain why the back end and front end of the truck started shaking.

Since the recall was first issued on March 14, 2022, I contacted the local dealer 5 times (4 in person during normal maintenance and one by phone) to address the recall. Issues have happened continuously and the latest was on July 22nd, 2023. The dealer is: Joe Cooper Ford of Edmond - 600 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73114 - Phone: (405) 475-9000 Every time they stated they do not have the parts to perform the fix and they would contacted me once they received the part. This is over a year and I reported to them the erratic behavior of my wipers to no avail.

While driving down interstate Friday, July 28, at approximately 6:15PM in North Augusta, SC, I heard a loud noise and could not identify what had happened. It was raining so I did not notice that the fixed portion of the panoramic sunroof over the back seat was shattered. I did not think to even look back there closely. The next morning I got into vehicle to find glass in back seat and water all over floor and seat in back. The whole panel had shattered.

The center console lid (work surface style console lid), continues to fall closed due to the springs not being strong enough to support the weight of the lid in the open/up position. If you are not paying attention or holding the lid open/up, it will slam close/down without warning. Since the lid is open, you can assume the inside of the console is being accessed, thus the lid slams closed on hands/fingers. It is bad enough for adults, but is extremely dangerous to the small hands of children. I have reported the issue to my local Ford Dealership and to Ford Corporate. Currently there are no recalls or solutions to the issue. A quick search of the internet, shows how big an issue this is on the Ford F-150's

Upon the first drive of a '23 Raptor, within 20 miles of driving the TPMS sensor warning lights up on the dash. This immediately caused a loss of data (no PSI data) on at least 2 tires shown on the truck's dash display. There is a loss of data on the FORD app also that corresponds with the dash display. This will only reset after the truck is off and parked for a reasonable amount of time. This occurs EVERY trip in excess of 20 miles. In the Ford Raptor Forums it appears this issue is persistent anywhere from 17-30 miles into a trip. This issue/error prevents the safe operation if it is unknown whether tire pressure is low, or there is another issue at hand. The truck has been at FORD at least 4 times in order to assess the problem. From "resetting" the system, replacing the ECU, replacing additional electrical components and still having the same issue. The issue has been replicated at the dealer level - hence the numerous attempts at a fix as mentioned above. Apparently a work-around is shielding the Pro-Power - the power chord is causing interference with the truck's electrical system. This problem is persistent with numerous 2023 F-150 Raptors, and it appears to correct itself TEMPORARILY if you turn off the Pro-Power...which of course turns off numerous electrical outlets in the truck. Again, this issue prevents the safe operation of the truck - the sensor is set off during every drive, and although its apparently caused by RF interference, we have no way of knowing if there is an actual anomaly in the TPMS system. Will it read correct if a tire is dangerously low - is unknown whether tire pressure is low, or there is another issue at hand. Is the Pro-power affecting RFI in other electrical/safety components???

Door latches are inoperable from the inside after slamming the door. Three out of four doors have become inoperable from the inside since new. The problem is repairable however I fear that upon a front impact doors will become inoperable and create confined space entrapment. Incidents were 11/1/2022 (rear passenger), 4/12/2023 (driver's), and 6/15/2023 (rear driver's).

Started vehicle and a horrific static popping sound started coming thru the speakers. It lasted about 10 seconds and I immediately turned vehicle off as I thought it was going to explode or burn. I restarted it again and it made the same sound again for about 5 seconds and it then stopped. 3rd time I started the truck it did not make the noise. When making the noise I couldn’t adjust the volume on radio or make a phone call

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 30-36 MPH, he noticed that a vehicle had stopped in the middle of the roadway. The contact depressed the brake pedal to avoid crashing into the other vehicle, but the brake pedal went down to the floorboard, and the vehicle failed to respond. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact swerved off the road and ended up in a ditch. The contact turned off the vehicle however, the vehicle failed to restart when pressing the PUSH to START button and depressing the brake pedal, due to the brake failure. The vehicle was towed to the dealer to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist without a diagnostic test report from the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 10,020.

Several times the infotainment system specifically the camera system fails to operate. When backing up the camera system is unavailable, the screen just shows the Ford emblem. This condition has happened several times and takes 3-4 minutes to correct or the vehicle must be shut off and restarted to get the system to work. Backing a vehicle of this size without the camera is somewhat difficult. I mentioned it to the dealer, they said Ford is aware of the issue but can't tell me when or if it is going to be corrected. I also took the truck in for an update and told them of an incident that occurred when I got into the truck after it had been sitting for 4-5 hours. When I started the truck an incredibly loud alarm coming from the sound system went off. I sounded like all of the speakers blew but after they checked they hadn't. It's only done that once and the dealer told me my incident was the only one they've heard of. I have not had an accident due to this issue. There have not been any warning lights.

The rear axel bolt sheared off. I started to hear a rattle called ford to see when I could get my truck in to get it looked at. Got an appointment set up 2 months down the road was the soonest they could get me in. While waiting for that time truck stated to vibrate. I decided to try a tire rotation and I had the rear axel bolt drop to the ground. Not sure exactly when I started hearing the rattle. They safety was the tire could have come off while driving which could have caused an accident which could have caused injuries or death of my family or others. I called ford back they told me to have it towed in so they could look at it right away. So in 4 days my truck will be towed there for inspection. No warning lights about the bolt but I did have one about 4x4 would not engage back on 27/MAR/2023. Ford checked the axel and suspension.
