While starting my truck, I was heard a very loud static sound coming from my speakers. It was so loud I could barely think. The static seemed to be at max volume and nothing besides turning the truck off and opening my door would make it stop. Even turning the volume down or screen/audio off completely would not help. I was parked at a store at the time and had to drive with the sound for 10 minutes. I was left disoriented and with a piercing headache that lasted over 24hours. That headache has subsided but I still have ringing in my ears.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the TPMS warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the headlights were flickering. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 22V686000 (Exterior Lighting) and 22V842000 (Visibility) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where the tire pressure monitoring system was serviced, but the failure recurred. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was unknown. Parts distribution disconnect.

On start, a loud "pop" was heard and the audio system went into full volume static and other sounds. Radio could not control it, on/off or volume, nothing would stop it. sound was deafening and lasted as long as the ignition was on. turned off ignition, yet it kept on regardelss of what I did with any interior controls. Sound was deafening and as I came to a stoplight, I could not hear the siren of an ambulance approaching from the left. I could not hear the siren due to the noise in the cabin! No way to stop the noise except after shutting down the ignition and leaving it alone for 15minutes........and it turned itself on again even after I had left the vehicle!

The audio system is malfunctioning - a loud audible cracking noise occurs when audio sources are selected or connected/disconnected from the vehicle's sound system. During the malfunction, the volume control knob was unresponsive, and there was no varying difference in sound when attempting to lower the volume. The sound was so loud that it caused my ears to ring and my body to involuntarily flinch from the shock of the sudden and sharp noise coming from the speakers. My ears continued to ring for several minutes following the incident. This could pose a safety risk to occupants as it may lead to long term hearing damage or loss. I have scheduled an appointment with my Ford service department to have the issue addressed one week from the initial occurrence. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle downshifted into first gear. The contact then attempted to shift gear manually, and while on an incline or going downhill, the vehicle failed to accelerate or shift into the intended gear. No warning lights was illuminated. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Additionally, the contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V163000 (Visibility) and 22V142000 (Visibility) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. An undisclosed dealer was contacted and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 129,000. Parts distributions disconnect.

The vehicle has fallen out of neutral tow mode while being towed behind motor home twice. First time happened April 10, 2022 and the second was August 23, 2023. The first time it ruined the transfer case and transmission, a dealer in Georgia replaced those and all 4 tires. The second time we were able to stop with only tire damage. Both times we were driving on the highway. Both times the neutral tow mode was set through the dash board of the F150. There were no warning lights only smoke from the truck and motorhome slowing down due to F150 not rolling. Neither incident involved police, we were able to pull off to side out of traffic.

The all digital gauge cluster just goes out while driving leaving the driver with no instrumentation. The ford dealer states ford knows about it with a service bulletin. The vehicle is not able to be driven with iut knowing how fast you are going if you even your fuel level.

Truck speakers randomly emit excessively LOUD pops and static. Took in truck for service and they “couldn’t replicate.” This was at a Ford dealer in Mew York. Gave truck back. It has done it everyday since and it’s so loud it’s almost like I’m in a concert. It lasts 5-10 seconds. It causes disaffections when driving as well. First time it happened I thought something broke a window. I saw many complaints posted about this through NHTSA and found online via [XXX] that Ford issued a bulletin for this fix but my service department at the local dealership didn’t bother to fix it. This has been an ongoing issue since I purchased the truck in late 2022. This was my first attempt to have it fixed. The front section of the panoramic sunroof on my 2021 Ford F150 unexpectedly shattered as I was driving down the road today. There were no cars immediately in front of or near me. None had passed by me. I was not driving underneath anything. The only thing I can deduce is that the glass spontaneously shattered due to unseen stress or faulty glass. I have owned the truck since new and had no issues or concerns with the sunroof previously. As a result of the glass shattering shards fell on me and inside of my truck. After getting out and shutting the door, the glass began collapsing inward and falling inside the truck. This is a safety concern as glass shards flying into a vehicle on a roadway can cause serious injury to the occupants inside.

VISIBILITY/WIPER
I brought this vehicle into 2 different Ford dealers to have the Recall 22C22 (wiper motor) taken care of. Both dealers said my wiper motors were not part of the affected recall parts. My wipers had stopped working one time and this was reported to both the dealers and Ford. The dealers will not fix it without Ford's permission. Ford is telling me I must take it back to a dealer to see if they will fix it. Here is the quote from Ford, "Since the vehicle is still having issues with the wiper motors not working, the dealership must assist. They need to inspect again and if they are refusing service you will need to find another dealer. I have been in touch with [XXX] , and he stated same thing you first thing you told me that it had passed inspection. If they state that current malfunction is not related to the recall, then we can still review to see how we can help. The loud sound of shattered glass and of glass cracking played over the sound system. This is the second time it has happened to us. Turning off the F150 and opening the door did not help it stop. This is very scary when driving. Since it happened before, I didn’t panic this time, but it is a reoccurring problem that could contribute to an accident.

very loud ear piercing noise coming from the stereo system. had to remove the + battery cable to stop the noise. has happened multiple times since. cannot drive the vehicle during this condition. keep ear muffs in vehicle from now on.
