POWER TRAIN
Bolt broke on passenger side rear axle shaft. Bolt retains drive axle shaft into drive wheel. Dealer replaced passenger axle on Nov. 9, 2022 but not driver side. No warning lamp. There was a squeak from axle. This truck has a "Max trailer tow package". I was towing a 6,000 lbs trailer which is within specs. for this truck.

I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection in an Atlanta suburb. I was several cars back from the red light. I saw the light turn green so I took my foot off of the brakes to engage auto start and barely tapped the gas and the truck dinged and showed me an error on the screen. I was so mortified and my heart started racing that I could barely read the error, all I remember seeing was "Shift to P." However, I tried to shift to Park and the shifter wouldn't do anything! I was desperately trying to engage the brake and shift to Park or Neutral and it wouldn't budge. I kept trying back and forth back and forth trying anything to get it to shift. It finally shifted to Park. I turned truck off. Opened the door, closed the door, and restarted engine and it had a slight hesitation but then let me shift down to Drive and proceed. Luckily, I had enough time to fix it before I started getting cussed out or honked at and possibly shot for having this happen on a busy intersection. My heart was beating so fast. So scary. I got home and connected my OBD scanner and no error codes were found. Sunny day, about 65 degrees, and truck had drive 55 miles to my Mom's a few hours before. This was on my way back to my house in Atlanta from my Mom's house an hour outside of Atlanta. I had no time to take a picture of the error on the screen because I was scared to death trying to get my truck to shift and drive. There was no reason for this error as I did not do anything differently. The auto start/stop engaged on its own when I come to a stop and then starts itself when I begin to depress the gas. Very concerning and I don't panic at all, but in this case...I sure did.

I started the truck. I heard a loud pop over the sound system. This was followed by a loud crackling noise over the speakers. The sound continued after the sound system was turned off. The speakers smell like they were burning.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving over a speed bump at approximately 15 MPH, there was a loud grinding sound coming from the vehicle before the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The contact was unable to restart the vehicle and the vehicle was later towed to the local dealer. While at the local dealer, the mechanic diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the engine had seized and needed to be replaced. The mechanic stated that parts of the piston and valve spring retainer were found inside the oil pan. The engine was replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 2,966.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL, POWER TRAIN
The contact owned a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at 35 MPH, the accelerator pedal suddenly traveled to the floorboard, and the vehicle accelerated on its own. As a result, the contact lost control of the vehicle and came to a complete stop after colliding with a tree. The contact also stated that the failure had occurred four times prior to the collision, with multiple incidents resulting in property damage. The air bags did deploy. A police report was filed, and injuries were reported. The contact was transported to an area hospital by EMT and treated for a cut on his left wrist. No warning lights were illuminated. On 3 occasions the emergency break applied itself while vehicle still moving and all of them was parking the vehicle but not got to fully stop when e brake applied itself. Also took it to the dealer nut they didn't find anything wrong with the vehicle

SERVICE BRAKES
I was slowing down for a corner and was going approximately 5 mph when the emergency brake activated without any action on my part. The truck came to a stop with 3 or 4 jerking motions. I released the brake and continued with my drive. The truck had about 1500 miles on the odometer at the time and I have had no problems since. This week I heard of the recall which doesn't cover my truck.

Ford recall on wiper motor(22V142- March 14 2022) and wiper arm(Recall 23V163- May 2023) are taking an unreasonably long time to be rectified. The answer they give is parts not available yet. I find it intolerably too long for remediation. I truly believe Ford is purposely stalling and should be fined.
