The brake rotors should only be machined if directed by the WSM because one or more of the following conditions are present on the braking surface: scoring, excessive corrosion/rust or pitting, bluing/discoloration and/or heat spots. SummarySome 2022 Bronco vehicles built on 01-Feb-2022 and through 10-Mar-2022 may exhibit rusted fasteners on the front fender trail sights (base part number 9920038). This may be due to a lack of protective e-coating applied to the bolts during the manufacturing process. Replacement of the exterior bodyside grab handle assembly will no longer be required. Trail sight fasteners are now available on their own as SPN: M2DZ-18D654-A. This kit comes with two bolts and two nuts, enough to replace all fasteners on one trail sight assembly. These fasteners work on both the left and right trail sights.

SummaryThis article supersedes TSB 22-2210 to update the expected release date of the revised ABS module software. Customers who neutral (4-wheel flat) tow 2021-2022 Broncos equipped with an electronic brake booster (EBB) may report an inconsistent brake assist when a supplemental braking system has been installed. This may result from supplemental brake system set-up that does not account for the Broncos EBB system entering sleep mode (via the ABS module) after a pre-determined period of time following vehicle shut-down. This functionality is necessary to prevent battery drain. Enhanced software is under development to address this condition when the vehicle enters Neutral Tow mode. The new software is expected to be available in December 2022. Monitor OASIS for updates. Until the software becomes available, customers who meet this criteria may perform the procedures below to address this condition when neutral (4-wheel flat) towing their vehicle.

Specifically, Ford is investigating whether the right hand and/or left hand side impact sensor could be missing the retaining stud and nut that secure the sensor to the b-pillar of the vehicle. Ford is voluntarily conducting this program because it received one report that a side impact sensor was not installed correctly, and it is inspecting other vehicles that were built around the same time. It is very important that the information and pictures from these inspections be provided to Ford for this study

This problem only existed for a few months and has since been corrected. The incorrect dipstick that showed in the catalog was SPN: MB3Z-6750-B/F (EPN: MB3E-6750-BB/BC). The 'MB3Z' dipstick (EPN: 'MB3E') is ONLY designed for use on the 2022 Bronco Raptor which is equipped with a 3.0L GTDI engine. The correct engine oil dipstick for the 2021-2022 Bronco 2.7L GTDI engine is SPN: FT4Z-6750-B/C (EPN: FT4E-6750-BF/BG).

This may be due to a compatibility issue between the customer's phone and the wireless accessory charging module (WACM) that may make it difficult for Ford and Lincoln vehicles to wirelessly charge these specific phones. The phone can still be charged using the USB cable if the vehicle experiences the above symptoms. If the customer is using a Magsafe iPhone such as an iPhone 12 or 13, verify the wireless charging pad works with a Qi certified phone prior to any part replacements.

SummarySome 2017-2022 Ford/Lincoln customers may experience a notification in the FordPassÃÂÃÂÃÂî/LincolnWayÃÂÃÂÃÂî app indicating Vehicle Has Entered Deep Sleep Mode. This occurs when the vehicle has not been started for 14 consecutive days, battery voltage is at/below 9.5 volts or the body control module (BCM) 12 volt battery state of charge (SOC) drops below 50%. A warning may also set if the telematic control unit (TCU) has received an over the air update. The TCU powers down all communication when in this mode and app features are disabled. Manually start the vehicle to wake if from mode. More information is located in the app under: Account > Help > search 'Deep Sleep' in the entry box. If the condition remains, check the BCM 12v SOC. If the SOC does not change after charging the battery or after BMS reset is performed, continue with normal battery and/or BMS sensor diagnostics.
