STEERING
I was driving and when I came to a stop light the power steering stop working and I had to go because the light turn green so I had to steer very hard and pull over to the side. It was very dangerous and I can’t believe this happened. The warning light came on as well and it says service power steering drive with care.

SUSPENSION
While driving within the neighborhood, the upper control arm ball joint failed and the wheel folded under. After some research, it appears that this truck purchased new from the dealership where it was upfitted with a suspension leveling accessory as shown in the photo. It should have been included in NHTSA Recall 21V-718 as it clearly is premature failure of the OEM upper control arm ball joint due to the dealer installed Suspension Level Kit. Vehicle was purchased new at Vaden Chevrolet in Pooler GA.

The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The contact stated that the vehicle would be low or completely out of fuel quicker than expected. The contact stated that while attempting to refuel, the contact was unable to fill the rear tank due to the tank being full of fuel. The vehicle had been taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed and determined that the transfer pump had failed to transfer fuel from the rear tank to the front tank. The contact was informed that the transfer pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 197,000.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The Bluetooth handsfree system has sound problems within incoming and outgoing calls. The radio is working between, Sirius XM and Bluetooth music from the cell phone, with no issues along with AM and FM transmissions. However, when on the phone there are random crackle noises from the speakers. Most of the time it's when they're pronouncing letters that creat a higher pitch sound in normal conversations followed with the crackle. It's happening throughout the call and is consistent on every call. Test were completed with the Dealership’s Service Adviser where we replicated the issue with his cell phone separate from mine. After researching this, I have discovered is is not an isolated problem. Truck was purchased from an authorized chevy dealership less than 6 months ago. Truck had transmission service just before purchasing it as it was *maintenance* not repairs. However all of a sudden the truck will stop accelerating in the middle of intersections where you typically would have a 1-2 or 2-3 shift. along with during acceleration on highway it will decide it doesnt want to shift anymore to a higher gear than 4th or 5th. This is causing a constant safety threat as i cannot control when the vehicle will move under its own power. This is a known problem with cheverolet as they will replace the parts that cause this if its under warranty however mine is not. Although the warranty is up the issue is caused by poor manufacturing process and they know that.

My lifters gave out on a brand new engine with 4000 miles on it. Truck was currently at 60,000 miles on odometer. I was traveling 75mph when everything locked up and all my lights on my dash board lit up. Causing multiple cars to swerve around as I guided the limping truck off the highway.

I am writing to request urgent assistance with my Chevrolet truck, which has experienced several serious issues recently. On September 25, 2024, while driving, the steering wheel became stiff, and the engine's power stopped. The dashboard lights remained on, and I was unable to start or turn off the vehicle. The Chevrolet app initially indicated an airbag system issue. However, the next day, it reported problems with the engine and transmission system. I scheduled an appointment with the Bomnin dealership for September 28. When I arrived, the service advisor informed me that due to a backlog, the truck could not be inspected immediately and advised me to return in a month. Consequently, the vehicle has not yet been seen by a Chevrolet mechanic. On September 29, the Chevrolet app also indicated an issue with the anti-lock braking system. To date, I have not received a clear explanation or resolution for these problems. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you can provide to expedite the repair process and address these issues as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Rocker arm on left (as you are facing engine from outside vehicle) back rear left is making a cherping noise when engine gets warmed up. Dealership & 2 separate mechanics say the cam shaft and lifters need replaced, or the whole engine should be replaced. Vehicle has 162500 miles on it. Noise started about a week after my last oil change on 6/11/24.
