I am submitting this complaint regarding a new safety incident involving my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe after completion of the repair associated with Recall 68C. The Recall 68C repair was completed on January 28, 2026. After that repair, the vehicle experienced new and serious operating failures. The vehicle repeatedly tripped my home charging circuit during charging attempts. In addition, the vehicle's electric mode malfunctioned despite the battery showing charge. The vehicle then experienced loss of propulsion and stalled while driving, creating a serious safety risk. Because of this incident, the vehicle was towed through Jeep Roadside Assistance and is now at Schumacher Jeep in [XXX] for diagnosis. The vehicle is currently not safely operable. Recall 78C also remains open with no available remedy. This complaint is being submitted as a new safety incident following completion of the Recall 68C repair, and it should be reviewed together with my prior ODI complaints, including ODI XXXand ODI XXX. I can provide supporting documentation, including recall records, repair records, tow documentation, and dealer information. There are multiple recalls on my vehicle the 68c which was a overheating battery issue that a software update was performed but the underlying battery issue still exists and the 78c which is sand casting in the engine block which has no fix and the dealer has no remedy because Stellantis has no remedy they say it could cause catastrophic engine failure but it’s safe to drive they refuse to give me a loaner or reimburse me for a rental vehicle they also refuse to buy back my vehicle so I can get into a safe gas powered vehicle I find this unacceptable and would like you to take action against this company please help us Thank you [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V766000 (Engine); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer and Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Scottsdale (3800 N 89th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251) were contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at highway speeds over a bumpy road surface, the vehicle experienced the death wobble. The contact stated that the failure occurred mostly while exceeding 70 MPH. The steering wheel and the vehicle shuddered abnormally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the steering damper was replaced; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was then taken to Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Scottsdale (3800 N 89th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251), where it was diagnosed that the steering damper had failed, and the front shock absorbers were leaking. The dealer replaced the steering damper and the front shock absorbers; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the second dealer, where the rear shock absorbers were replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.

Instrument Panel Cluster Failure. Black screen. Can’t see MPH, Gas, mileage or any engine functionality. Consistent with NHTSA safety recall. My VIN is not in the recall despite being a 2020 Jeep Wrangler that is listed in the safety recall. Stellantis won’t cover repair and Jeep dealer in Marshfield won’t cover. Potential 6 month fix with no replacement vehicle offered because part hasn’t been in stock.

ABS Module fails with C2200 code. No replacement parts are available, hence driving with no ABS (manual brakes). Jeep needs to address the nationwide backlog on ATS moudles so proper repairs can be made and Jeep owners have the peace of mind that the ABS is functioning properly.

My 2022 Jeep Wrangler has an ongoing issue involving an oil and diesel leak, which creates a hazardous driving condition and poses a fire and safety risk. The vehicle has been taken in for repair multiple times (4 repair attempts) for the same issue, and the problem remains unresolved. Due to the severity of the leak, the vehicle is unsafe to operate and requires towing to the dealership. Despite repeated repair attempts, the manufacturer has failed to provide a permanent fix and has denied further assistance based on procedural reasons (vehicle not currently at dealership, mileage, and warranty concerns). I am concerned this is a broader safety defect that could affect other vehicles.

2014 Jeep Wrangler ABS module failure, part number 68145835AE Dash light for ABS and Brake warning light are constant on the dash. This is the 2nd 2014 Jeep Wrangler I have owned that has this problem. It has been diagnosed by the Jeep dealer and another mechanic. The part is on National back order. I ordered the first one in 2024 and it has not been available. I have done a bunch of research and believe a CHIP in the module fails but is no longer available. My Jeep is available for inspection.

Just like many other people have wrote about, the ABS SENSOR is defective. The ABS light comes and the traction light does also. Jeep has been aware of the problem for 18 months to 2 years. There is no fix or replacement sensor in sight.

ABS Module component has failed which controls anti-lock brakes, cruise control and traction control. Jeep has no stock of ABS Modules, and no production dates for potential fix. Therefore these Jeeps have reverted a decade or two in safety losing their ABS, traction control and going into limp mode, which prevents you from driving (I have not experienced limp mode but neither do I wish for this to happen.)

CAR WOULD NOT START AND WOULD NOT CHARGE. WHEN JEEP SHUT OFF IT WOULD SHOW THE RED PLUG SYMBOL. ONCE IT FINALLY STARTED, I NOTICED THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. IT FELT LIKE IT WAS GOING TO STALL SO I COULDN'T COME TO A COMPLETE STOP FOR VERY LONG IF AT ALL. IF I DID COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND I WAS ON A HILL, IT WOULD START TO ROLL BACKWARDS. WHEN I WOULD ACCELORATE, IT FELT LIKE IT WAS STUCK IN 2ND GEAR, WHEN I WOULD TAKE MY FOOT OFF OF THE PEDAL IT WOULD CONTINUE TO ACCELORATE A FEW MPH AND THEN WOULD FINALLY SLOW DOWN. AT TIMES IT WOULD NOT WANT TO ACCELORATE, EVEN IF YOU DID HAVE YOUR FOOT ALL THE WAY DOWN. DID NOT WANT TO REVERSE AT TIMES. DIDNT FEEL LIKE IT WANTED TO GO. THE JEEP WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO DRIVE IN E-SAVE, OR ELECTRIC, EVEN THOUGH THE BATTERY WAS 100% CHARGED AND HAD A HALF TANK OF GAS. THE JEEP WOULD ONLY DRIVE IN HYBRID MODE. WE HAD THE JEEP AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR ONE OF THREE RECALLS THIS JEEP WAS APART OF. IRONICALLY MY JEEP DID NOT START HAVING ISSUES UNTIL THAT SPECIFIC RECALL WAS "FIXED". IF I WERE TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE THIS JEEP, NOT ONLY WOULD I CAUSE HARM TO OTHER DRIVERS AROUND ME, BUT MY CHILDREN AND MYSELF THAT DRIVE IN THIS VEHICLE ON A DAILY BASIS. IT HAS BEEN AT THE DEALERSHIP SINCE FRIDAY THE 13TH WITH NO RESOLUTION.

The contact owns a 2022 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that approximately one month prior to receiving notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); the vehicle experienced electrical failures and the battery failed to hold a charge, and the vehicle was not operational. Additionally, the transmission was extremely low on transmission fluid, and the differential was leaking oil. The contact stated that after the recall repair was completed, the previous failures worsened. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 18,300.

The component that failed is the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) Control Module in a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. Diagnostic code C2200 (“ABS Control Module Internal Failure”) was retrieved during a scan, indicating an internal electronic failure within the ABS module. The component remains installed in the vehicle and is available for inspection upon request. When the failure occurs, the vehicle’s ABS, traction control, and stability control systems become disabled. The dashboard displays warning lights for the ABS, traction control, and brake system. While the base braking system continues to function, the loss of these electronic safety systems could increase the risk of reduced vehicle control during emergency braking or low-traction conditions such as wet or slippery roads. The issue has been confirmed through diagnostic scanning by a service center, which produced code C2200 indicating an internal failure of the ABS control module. The condition is repeatable: the warning lights appear after approximately 10 minutes of driving, and if the vehicle is turned off and allowed to sit for a period of time (such as overnight), the lights reset but return again after driving. The replacement ABS control module is currently extremely difficult to obtain. According to a Jeep dealership parts department, the module is on significant backorder, with hundreds of outstanding orders that were expected to be filled earlier in 2026 but remain unfulfilled. The part is widely reported within the Jeep owner community to be a common failure for this vehicle generation, yet no recall or official remedy has been issued.

- #11724303March 14, 2026POWER TRAIN, ENGINE, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
My 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (3.6L eTorque, automatic transmission) has had recurring drivetrain instability since about 2,000 miles while under factory warranty. It intermittently has high RPM flare during acceleration, delayed shifting, shuddering under load, and abrupt engagement. At low speeds (about 10–5 mph), it harshly downshifts, grabs suddenly, RPMs jump up and down, and it can feel like it will stall; it has stalled intermittently. Braking feels inconsistent, and at times it feels like the vehicle resists braking or surges before slowing. The forward collision warning/automatic emergency braking has activated with no obstacle present, and the power steering assist has been lost intermittently. There is also an engine tick and a high-pitched whining noise from the engine/drivetrain area. In January 2026, the transmission catastrophically failed and required replacement of the transmission, torque converter, cooler, and control module. The vehicle was out of service for over 24 days. After installation of a new Mopar remanufactured transmission and torque converter, the same symptoms returned. AAMCO has now found that the new torque converter failed, with metal shavings throughout the transmission, in the fluid, and at the bottom of the pan. I was advised that the vehicle should be sent to a Jeep dealership because no codes are currently present. I was also advised that the dealership may replace only the torque converter rather than the entire transmission, despite recurring failure and metal contamination. This presents a safety concern due to loss of acceleration, unpredictable torque engagement, stalling, unintended braking activation, power steering loss, engine/drivetrain noise, and repeated drivetrain failure. I have all the records if requested, file is too large to send in the upload area.

DEATH WOBBLE repeatedly while traveling on the highway at speeds above 60 MPH. Where is a terrain surface change, asphalt to bridge or and seam in the road cause a violent shaking of the front of the car. This has happened multiple times. I took the car to a car repair, there was no visual issues seen, but the repair people told me they no longer buy Jeeps as their personal vehocle because of the death wobble. They did not recommend a sway bar because in their experience it did not correct the issue.
