Have been driving the vehicle for nearly a year but while driving my motor blew exhausting blue all black smoke and then when I turn the car off the car was completely dead when I was getting it towed it could not be told because both of the front wheels had locked and no matter if I put the vehicle in neutral the car will not move come to find out that the bearing ride has shot a hole through the motor block. Took the vehicle to two different Hyundai dealership was told the same thing that no one would take the vehicle or trade it in for an the value for another vehicle that I was stuck with the vehicle and had to pay for the damages which was about 12 Grand also vehicle has been down in my driveway for the last year now cuz Hyundai refused to pay it without $190 diagnostic fee again on top of 12 Grand to replace my motor and the vehicle is not even worth all that money when I don't have much left to pay on it even though I only had the vehicle for only 2 years now but only driven it for only one. Lastly I've also read where there was a recall on these vehicles for the the baron rod and the engine malfunction as well as a new system being put into this these vehicles I was not aware of these recalls because it purchase of this vehicle was right when the recall window had closed and I ended up having a problem now they won't do anything about it can someone please do something about this vehicle.

- #11587355May 7, 2024SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I was coming back from the mall on the highway doing 50mph and my truck started losing power which it has done before but this time the emergency brake came on and my truck stopped in the middle of the highway on a Saturday. Thank God no one was following me close because that would have caused a bad accident. And also sometimes after I stop at a light or stop sign my brakes harden and I can’t press them down if that makes since and all my needles move back and fourth while the engine is making a noise but the car is still in drive but will not move. I have to hit the button to turn the car off and restart it and this has happened to me 3 times already. This is very frustrating and scary

Had had the vehicle approximately four months (purchased at Irwin Dealership in Laconia, NH) when the vehicle would not start. It was rendered non-functional. It was “repaired” in February 2023. When picked up in Feb after Irwin dealership in Laconia, NH had had it for almost 3 wks, they told me it had carbon buildup. It had only been driven about 4,000 miles since it had been purchased on [XXX], 2022. They changed the oil (oil changes are recommended every 5,000 miles). It died again on [XXX], 2023; again it had been driven less than 4,000 miles and was not yet due for an oil change. It has been there since. They (Irwin) wanted service records, I told them all I had from prior to purchase was the carfax, and that they had performed the only service because I hadn't driven it long enough to have even had a second oil change. When Irwin submitted documents to Hyundai, they indicated the issues with the car were due to neglect and poor maintenance. Hyundai refused to replace the engine citing that I had failed to provide service records. The car remains at the dealership, despite payments being made on a vehicle that can not be used. There is no power when accelerating, especially up a hill. The rpm's hover over 4k for a long time before downshifting, hence, eating up gas like crazy. Also, the passenger side back door does not open at all, the driver's side back door takes several pulls before opening, the driver's door takes 3 pulls to open, and the front passenger door takes a minimum of three pulls to open. The no power just recently started happening. The door issue started in late 2023 and has gotten progressively worse just recently.

My rear passenger door will not open from the inside or outside. My front passenger door has difficulties opening, I have to try to handle a few times. The front passenger door has been since I purchased the vehicle in 2022 but the rear passenger vehicle just started 5/2/24. The alternator has already been replaced as of 2022 and the front passenger motor has already been replaced as of April 2024 because the window stopped going up. And all of these have been at my expense!! I have read owner blogs that have all of these same issues. This is a HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. What if there is an emergency and I can't get my child safely out of his car seat? These issues, especially the door actuators, needs to be a recall and fixed immediately at no expense to the owners.

My engine began consuming oil at a faster rate. My miles per gallon decreased. Then while driving, my engine lost power, and then the check engine light came on without warning. Pulled into the closet mechanic (less than 2 miles) and mechanic found that I had lost all compression in cylinder 3 of my engine and that there was a large carbon build up. My engine just failed. I bring my Tucson in every 5000 miles for service.

I religiously come into a auto repair shop for oil changes. Well before my next scheduled change, my engine started to make thumping noises. I filled up the engine with oil before taking it in to the auto body shop. The shop informed me that the engine needs to be replaced. They also informed me that this seems to be a recurring issue with Hyundai's and that a lot of owners are experiencing high oil needs for their engines. Neither my check oil light or check engine light notified me that there was low oil before the damage occured on my engine. I have filed a report with Hyundai as well and am still waiting to hear back from them.

KSDS engine software update was performed by Hyundai dealer on January 22, 2024. On or about February 11, 2024, the vehicle began stalling, intermittently, and would not restart for several minutes. On March 4, 2024, the vehicle stalled and, upon restarting, after nearly a 30 minute wait, it would not exceed 35 mph. The vehicle registered, nor recorded, any diagnostic codes at any time, during these events. The vehicle was taken to Edwards Hyundai service center for diagnosis and repair. No diagnostic codes were recorded in the vehicle history. Upon inspection, Edwards changed a loose timing chain and exhaust camshaft. The vehicle was picked up on 3/13/2024 and presented with the same issue on 3/14/2024, with the engine stalling and failing to restart for several minutes. When the vehicle did restart, it would not exceed 35 mph. It was then returned to Edwards Hyundai on 3/15/2024, where it duplicated the issue for Service Writers, failed to restart, and had to be pushed out of the service garage. The vehicle has since, without further diagnosis or repair, started and ran for technicians, who have since supposedly driven, approximately, 200 miles, in an effort to determine the issue. Edwards Hyundai then demanded the return of a loaner vehicle, in an effort to force us to retake possession of the vehicle, having failed to properly diagnose or repair the issue. A complaint has been filed with Hyundai corporate, which resulted only in them also trying to convince us to accept return of the vehicle in said state of disrepair. It has since become very clear, as evidenced by numerous reports of Hyundai vehicles experiencing the same effects and mechanical issues, after receiving the KSDS software update, that Hyundai, both at the corporate and service level, have been dishonest, as to being unaware of the cause of the issue and what must be done to resolve it. Given that the potential end result of the customer retaking possession of the vehicle in its

we bought Tucson 2024 Sel from Stafford Hyundai January 1, 2024. We were happy new vehicle owner and yourself. Sales told us it will be good for at least few years without any problem after four months and 22 days the vehicle started not running call Chantilly service they connected me with the online service and they suggested us to call Roadside assistant and jumpstart. while we talk with them jumpstart vehicle rolled down the driveway the door was open bumped by the carport wall. Luckily the vehicle stop didn’t damage anything behind other houses or anything. The door was damaged. We don’t want this vehicle anymore. We want return or replace. It’s a brand new vehicle and it’s a life safety issue and I have a special son., bad battery after four months and rolled down the driveway, I want to mention the Service Manager instance of empathy he told us nothing last forever have a bad battery after four months and roll down the vehicle is very normal. He mentioned Manager checked the role down, but advisor from service said only repair happened bad battery and also he did inform Hyundai motor corporation. I spoke with the case manager after I spoke with service manager and he said he never spoke with Safford service and no one return his callsl. He tried to call multiple times. Gap communication, and false information is giving to us and we purchased this vehicle from here we do not want this vehicle we want return or replacement, otherwise someone has to sign a bond and saying this is safe to drive. If cause any trouble with my family or big acident or death Safford Hyundai service is reliable for it. They said send it to body shop but they didn’t Thank you so much. Bellow is case created with Hyundai corporation.
