SummarySome 2021 Escape vehicles built on or before 9-Feb-2021 may exhibit a "Tire Mobility" message in the message center. This may be due to the software in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). To correct the condition, download and run the "IPC Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Configuration" application in the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. If asked if the original module is still installed, answer NO. For claiming, use causal part 10849 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4.

SummarySome 2025-2026 Escape vehicles may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0073 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) and/or B1B38 stored in the body control module (BCM). The vehicle may also exhibit no ambient air temperature reading shown in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) and/or center display screen. This may be due to a pinched, chafed, or severed wiring harness 15K867. To inspect the suspect area of the harness for damage, turn the steering wheel to the left and remove the four lower push pins from the front passenger side fender liner. Gently fold the liner inward and visually inspect the visible portion of harness 15K867 below the passenger side headlamp and follow the harness down behind the visible parts behind the front parking aid sensors.

SummarySome 2020-2025 various Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with blind spot information system (BLIS) may experience an inoperative blind spot monitoring with a "Blind Spot System Fault" message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may also be accompanied by diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B118C:11 and/or B118C:15 stored in the driver door module (DDM), and/or B118D:11 and/or B118D:15 stored in the passenger door module (PDM). This may be due to the wiring connector from the mirror to the BLIS module. If diagnostics lead to an internal mirror wiring harness fault, a new lower level BLIS light pigtail is now released for service. It is not necessary to replace the exterior mirror assembly. Use part number SC3Z-14A411-B to resolve the concern.

SummarySome 2025 Escape/Maverick vehicles equipped with an 8-inch instrument panel cluster (IPC) display may exhibit a condition where the fuel gauge displays up to the 8th mark below full fuel level when the fuel tank is full. This condition does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected by the end of Q1 2026. Replacement/reprogramming of the IPC will not resolve this condition. Monitor PTS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. If this condition is encountered, enter a vehicle identification number (VIN) and click the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)" link at the upper right of the PTS "Vehicle ID" screen. Fill out the GCR form, referencing this article number in the report.
