SummaryFuel Tank Dealer Inventory *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is now escalating the temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold on 196 specific model year 2022 Nissan Rogue vehicles in Service Comm to a dealer inventory quality action to inspect, and if necessary, replace the fuel tank. Nissan is continuing its investigation of a potential fuel tank puncture. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality hold using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC903 ⢠New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ⢠Some vehicles may still be in transit. Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for QA Hold applicability. 2. Please do not drive, loan, rent, sell or trade the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality hold. 3. Use the attached procedure to inspect and, if necessary, remedy any vehicles affected by this quality action: ⢠If parts are needed, dealers may place an order via the normal process. 4. URGENT: The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed as soon as the action is completed so it can be closed on Service Comm, and release the vehicle. 5. NOTE: Parts replaced under this quality action will be collected through the Nissan Part Return Program to help with Nissanâs continued investigation. If a Part Return Required Notification is received by the dealer, it is important for dealers to return parts applicable specifically to the VIN and repair order identified.

To increase customer confidence and satisfaction, Nissan will replace the front passenger airbag, front passenger seat belt retractor, and reprogram the airbag control unit (ACU) with the updated parts. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Emission Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. P2A08. 2. Dealers are requested to remedy any affected vehicles in dealer pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. SummaryVOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN PASSENGER SIDE SEAT BELT RETRACTOR AND AIRBAG MODULE INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific model year 2021 Rogue vehicles produced at Kyushu prior to January 28, 2021, to update the front passenger (RH) side seat belt retractor assembly and airbag module, and reprogram the airbag diagnosis sensor unit. Vehicles with this update applied were tested by NHTSA in March 2021 and received an overall safety rating of 4 stars and a front passenger safety rating of 4 stars. This is not a safety recall as all Rogue vehicles meet all U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number P2A08 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory.

Affected vehicles may experience the following conditions: ⢠Air Conditioner (AC) blowing warm air at idling condition. ⢠A warning to apply the parking brake when the vehicle is stopped and is in gear; a âCVT malfunctionâ light when driving; a delay when shifting from Reverse to Drive; difficulty shifting into Neutral; as well as a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON.
