The ABS and traction control warning lights came on. The dealership diagnosed the issue as a failed ABS control module, part number 68259556AD. The vehicle is now considered unsafe to drive, and I am on a waiting list for a replacement part with no estimated time of arrival, and several others have been on this waiting list for two years. Replacement part can not be found.

My 2021 Jeep wrangler (VIN: [XXX] ) experienced an instrument cluster failure. I took the jeep to the local Jeep dealer for maintenance and verified the instrument cluster (IC) needs to be replaced. This issue is present for other 2021 Jeep wranglers (same make/model) and there is an active recall for them (NHTSA ID: 21V949000). However, my Jeep is not currently listed under the recall but has the same exact issue and requires IC replacement. The component that failed was the steering damper. This results in the vehicle violently shaking at freeway speeds after hitting a bump. This has resulted in me having to pull over to get the issue to stop on multiple occasions. In addition, it can be difficult to keep control of the vehicle when this is happening and there is no set way to make it stop once it has begun. It is unpredictable, as it happens sometimes and does not others. One big danger is that it occurs most often when traveling at higher speeds. The vehicle is currently at the dealership getting fixed for the same issue. This is the 5th time that it has been taken in for the same issue. The component has failed 4 times since I got the car 3 years ago. I have taken the car to the dealership 5 times for the same issue. The first time I brought the car in for the issue, they replaced several parts, but not the steering damper. Within a month I brought the car back in for the same issue. Each time since then, they have replaced the steering damper along with other parts (Invoices will be attached to this report with part names and numbers). Each time the vehicle was taken in to the dealership, the mechanics were able to reproduce the issue. This is documented on each invoice I received. No warning lamps, messages, or any other warning signs were present prior to the issue occurring. The issue first occurred in February of 2023 (10 months after purchasing the car new). It was taken to the dealership for the first time on February 10, 2023. It was brought in for the repeated issue on March 9, 2023, March 18, 2024, March 14, 2025, and most recently on September 23, 2025.

The driver side door handle har a foil wrapping that has come loose and cannot be returned to its standard position. The wrapping is sharp jagged aluminum that has cut my finger on two separate occasions. The wound is rather deep in both instances.

Transmission clunking when changing gears, while my abs light is on. The break pedals rumble and the car is scary to drive. These issues are with a faulty abs control module.

The instrument cluster has went completely out. There is a currently open recall for 2018 - 2024 Jeep Wranglers (Recall #24V-652), but my VIN is not included. According to FMVSS No. 571.101 (Controls and Displays), you are required to remedy this situation as it is now a safety and hazard for the driver.

My 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL has a known corrosion issue TSB31-001-19 and TSB31-002-20. Corrosion on doors and hinges and spot welds. I have called local dealers and they won’t help. I got with the Jeep help line and they gave me a case number and said they would not be doing anything about it. They never gave me the opportunity to send pictures of corrosion in said areas. There is a Goodwill program that I asked about and was refused so I’m reaching out to the NHTSA and BBB to get some help with this issue. This is a well known and documented issue and not owner negligence. The Case# given to me was 94287282.

My 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Sport is experiencing multiple premature engine failures that present a serious safety risk: •Vehicle overheats while driving. •Recurrent misfire on Cylinder #5 (DTC P0305). •White exhaust smoke with a sweet coolant smell on cold start. •Coolant loss despite recent refill. •Oil contamination with metallic particles found during inspection. •Valvetrain noise from the right bank, suspected intake camshaft wear. These conditions create a risk of engine seizure or sudden stalling while driving, which could cause a crash. Manufacturer awareness: Jeep/Mopar has issued bulletins acknowledging these exact problems, including: •TSB MC-11018482-0001 (May 2025): Intake camshaft/rocker wear causing misfires (P0301–P0306). •Customer Satisfaction Notification ZD8 (2023): Coolant inlet tube fastener issue causing coolant leaks and overheating. My vehicle’s symptoms directly align with these known manufacturer issues. Despite this, Jeep/Mopar has denied goodwill repair coverage. Safety Concern: This defect is not just a performance issue — it creates a high probability of sudden engine stall or seizure, endangering me, my passengers, and other drivers. I am requesting NHTSA investigate premature engine failures on the Jeep Wrangler JL (3.6L Pentastar) and require Jeep/Mopar (Stellantis) to address this safety hazard.

My 2019 Jeep Wrangler is experiencing the "death wobble" every time I hit any uneven pavement while traveling at 60-65. This is extremely unsettling and could cause serious injury or death. Why haven't all the Jeeps during this time span been recalled considering the number of reports of this issue on the 2019 Jeep Wrangler?

ABS system has failed and Jeep dealer said the parts are on back order and has been for over a year. Depending on who your speaking to at Stellantis they are either re-engineering the part or they are no longer manufacturing it. While my Jeep still drives, there is a major safety concern due the ABS and traction control being unavailable. There is a whole thread set up online and this problem is affecting many people. Car shut down on [XXX] and would not start. Indicated problem with charging system. Vehicle is currently in Cabo San Lucas, BCS, Mexico. Towed car to local Jeep dealer. Car had outstanding recall (ZB7 2021-2023 JL 4XE Loss of Motive Power). Dealer diagnosed issues as a failure of the battery, so that was replaced, along with software updates to address the recalls. We had to pay over $900 out of pocket for these repairs, and it stayed with the dealer for 3.5 weeks. Two days later the vehicle is again failing with the same issues and will not start. It began with the check engine light coming on, then A/C stopped cooling, then the car only would stay in hybrid mode, and the transmission was revving. After stopping the car and shutting it off it will not restart. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

- 2015 Jeep Wrangler with only 46K miles - Dealership has confirmed that the ABS Module is out on the break system. - When module suddenly went out, Jeep went into "limp" mode in heavy Houston traffic. - Warning lamps: ABS System, Sway Bar, Check Engine, and Traction Control all lit up suddenly. - Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep has a National Backlog of the ABS module that apparently has not delivered new products for months or years. - Vehicle hard breaks, will not go faster than about 15mph, and cannot be used in current state as it is unsafe to drive. - Vehicle is stranded 1 hr from my home, cannot be driven and will not be able to be driven for the foreseeable future. - Unconscionable that Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep is not making this part thereby rendering my vehicle absolutely useless.

While driving to an appointment on 11 August 2025 the yellow CEL light came on and the Jeep Wrangler 4xe stopped operating in hybrid mode. A few miles later the Jeep went into limp mode with a red turtle, red wrench, and red battery light. Pulled into the left center turn lane to allow faster traffic to pass and then made a left turn off of a busy 4-lane highway. I then proceeded down the hill and at the next traffic light I was turning right when the Jeep stopped and the gas engine completely shut down and the Jeep stopped moving halfway through the intersection. Putting the vehicle in park, I attempted to restart the vehicle while it sat in the middle of the intersection but it wouldn’t restart. I then turned on my flashers and exited the vehicle so I could call a tow truck. After the vehicle was towed to the nearest Jeep dealership I learned two days later that the hybrid battery pack had failed and it needed to be replaced. As of 18 September and the vehicle is still at the dealership awaiting authorization from the Jeep engineering team so the technician at the dealership can order a special part!

ABS light, stability control light and brake light on instrument cluster is illuminated. Took vehicle to dealership. They stated that the ABS module is faulty and needs to be replaced. The person at the dealership said that he could not say whether or not the vehicle is safe to drive. Did a little research and found that this part has failed on many vehicles, and there are over 500 of this item backordered across the country. The dealership has no idea when to expect replacement part.

There was a crack, and subsequent leak, in the fuel line to the engine. My safety, and my passengers safety was absolutely put at risk as that could have ignited a fire at any moment. I took the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the problem. No warning lamps appeared, however, the smell of gas was very strong in and near the vehicle.
