The warning lights on the dashboard come on when driving. ABS, VSC, 4WD, automatic emergency braking etc. are all shut down when this happens. The lights may stay on for a few days or turn off at the next restart with only a check engine light remaining on. It has been back to two different the Ram dealer for repairs 4 times for this issue. Starting out on 04/25/2025 at 419 miles, the last time was 12/22/2025 at 3,677 miles. They have replaced several sensors and updated the computer several times, yet the problem still persists. It may be fine for several hundred miles or it may happen several times in one hundred miles. At this point the dealer doesn't seem to know what more to do.

The 2025 and 2026 dually 3500 Ram trucks with the 12" AAM rear axle are having issues with the rear wheel speed sensors (different sensor for each side). They apparently fail or are not able to properly communicate to the computer. When this happens, the following are disabled: -ABS -Auto Emergency Braking -4x4 -Electronic Stability Control -Cruise Sometimes, the engine won't shut off. The gauge cluster will state it can't detect which position the transmission is in. So, you cannot shift, and you can't shut the truck off, and you can't drive. You are stuck in place with a running engine. Despite Stellantis releasing a new revision of wheel speed sensors (AB revision), they have failed in less than 2,000 miles on my truck. Many, many dually owners are experiencing these failures. I've had this problem occur over half a dozen times. It has been to the dealership to be repaired 3 times so far. After the 2nd time at the dealership, the sensors only last less than 23 miles.

I have had the seal between the transmission and transfer case replaced 3 times due to leaking since new and after each repair within miles of each repair and all prior to the vehicle reaching 50,000 miles. The last time it was repaired at 65,000 miles they decided to replace the transmission with a new transmission - it also leaked between the transmission and transfer case within 1 day and less than 100 miles.

While driving on interstate 20 and then on I65 my cruise control dropped off causing the vehicle to sudden decrease in speed. Rear end collision narrow avoided due to commercial vehicles, following, quick action saved a disaster. This loss of cruise control, is/was caused by the warning ⚠️ of recall C4B/NHTSA 24V-896. We are now experiencing a total loss of safety (service electronic brake system, service abs system, loss of traction control, {loss of cruise control}). These safety functions are now making this, one ton, dually, a death trap, mental health problem (I have PTSD, depression, anger management, anxiety problems) . My wife is afraid of this vehicle, WILL NOT let me pull our 42 foot, 15,000 pound, Redwood 38GK 5th wheel RV. Should your investigation be done, this is the 3rd recall/repair on this system. Will this dangerous vehicle be the next cause or a deadly pile up, will children be the the innocent victims? This recall and the other ever be fixed? The value has dropped , now by $25k to $35,000 on truck with 45,000 miles. Appreciate your time, [XXX] . Incident Description (ABS Module Failure) The ABS control module is failing intermittently. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The ABS warning light illuminates unpredictably, sometimes every few minutes to every few tens of minutes. When this occurs, ABS, cruise control, and trailer brake control are disabled, making the vehicle difficult and unsafe to operate, especially when towing or driving in traffic. This failure creates a safety risk due to loss of braking and stability-related systems. The issue is a known manufacturer defect with an established repair; however, the manufacturer states that replacement ABS modules are currently unavailable due to parts backorder, with no repair timeline provided. The issue has been acknowledged by the manufacturer and dealer. No inspection by police or insurance has occurred. Based on available information, my best assessment is an intermittent ABS module failure that renders the vehicle effectively unusable. I am requesting escalation and corrective action by the manufacturer.

- #11711007January 14, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
On January 14, 2026, while starting my 2025 RAM 3500 with approximately 4,000 miles on the vehicle, the digital instrument cluster completely failed to function. After the engine started and the vehicle was running, the dashboard continued to display “Press Brake and Press Button to Start,” as if the vehicle had not started. All gauges and indicators were inoperative, including the speedometer, tachometer, warning lights, and vehicle information displays. Although the vehicle could be driven and exterior turn signals were functioning, there was no indication on the instrument cluster. No speed, engine RPM, or warning alerts were visible to the driver. After driving the vehicle home and allowing it to sit for a period of time, the vehicle was restarted and the instrument cluster returned to normal operation, indicating an intermittent failure. Based on known issues reported with digital instrument cluster failures, this appears to be a potential electrical and/or software-related defect. In addition to the instrument cluster failure, the vehicle has experienced electrical issues related to trailer lighting. When towing a new trailer equipped with LED lights, the running lights would not function when connected to this truck, although the trailer lighting worked properly when connected to other vehicles. The trailer was taken to the manufacturer’s shop for a full inspection, which confirmed the trailer was functioning properly and identified the truck as the source of the issue. On January 12, 2026, during an oil change service, the trailer lighting issue was reported to the dealership. When the technician connected a diagnostic tester to the truck’s trailer wiring connection, portions of the connection began to smoke. The dealership determined there was a defect in the truck’s electrical system and ordered a replacement component. I have video documentation provided by the dealership technician showing the issue at the trailer light connection.

Every month I am receiving a check engine light for abs / traction control / failure. Dealer states HPU unit is bad, however I noticed all the fuses in the fuse box were loose. I pushed them in to reseat and the error cleared. This happens monthly. This last time happened during a snow storm and disabled abs.

The problem with the ABS module started in 2019 when the truck had 43000 miles. The dealership told mee what the problem was but didn't have the parts to repair it. I've been driving it since then with no anti lock brakes, traction control, and no cruise control. This seems unsafe to me and all other drivers. I have contacted the dealership and there is still no remedy for the issue. Please consider this a formal complaint. Thank you.

On 12/15/2015 my 2025 RAM 3500 at 30180 miles had a Trailer communication problem with Running lights on trailer not working. It was sent to RAM dealership in Albany, OR. They diagnosed that the Integrated Trailer control module was at fault. It was replaced and passed working operation, On 12/30/25 Ram was connected to Trailer. The Trailer seemed to be fully operational and about 5 miles down the road the Running lights stoped working again. I had trailed tested and no electrical issues were found. Had 7 way trailer pin in Ram tested and showed 12V power but no out for Running lights. Schedule another appointment to go to Wilson Ram in Corvallis, OR. The ran another diagnostic test on it and found it was fully operational and they could not duplicate the issue I was having. As the Ram gets closer to warranty being expired and I use this Ram for business hauling a trailer that it’s a safety issue when Running lights don’t work. I feel that RAM needs to address this problem sooner than later. I will be getting my Ram back on 01/09/2026 and We’ll connect to Trailer once again and see if itheir is no issues this time. I feel a recall should be in place to resolve the problem with a new harness, brake controller and all modules for Trailer Tow system. As a consumer having down time due to having to go back for diagnostics all parts should be replaced if one part of the system has failed. Is it not only a safety issue it can impact business owners who Need their Vehicle to operate their business. Thank you for taking the time and I will submit follow up if these trailer issues continue.

The contact owns a 2026 Ram 3500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine, 4WD, ABS, park sensors, and several other unknown warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who replaced the speed sensor for the rear wheels; however, the failure persisted, and the transmission failed to recognize that the gear selector was in park(P). Roadside Assistance arrived and unplugged the battery cables to turn off the engine. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and was waiting for engineers to diagnose the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 458.
