My vehicle was repaired for a known recall related to the tailgate unlatching issue. NHTSA ID Number: 22V904000 This repair was completed, and then my tailgate continued to open unexpectedly. I have taken it back to the dealership after damage was caused to my tailgate when it fell while I was driving. They have denied my claim and continue to advise that it was repaired when, in fact, I have still been experiencing issues with it. I would like to have my tailgate damage repaired and realgind properly.

Instrument cluster would not turn on in the truck. I turned truck off 2 times and would not power on. I was unable to tell Speed, Fuel level, DEF level or any warning indicator that would have pop up if there was an issue with the truck. Once I made it to my destination came back 15 minutes later the cluster started working again.

While driving my Ram 2500 completely shut off just like I had hit the engine stop button. Luckily, I was traveling at a low speed at the time, so I was able to coast to a complete stop, put the truck in park on the side of the road. I was then able to restart the vehicle and resume driving without any more issues.

Dealer confimed roller lifter failure on 9/23/25, they replaced the roller lifters, push rods, cam shaft and rocker arms. Within 20 miles of picking up the truckl on 10/11/2025 the same noise the repair was suposed to remedy was back adn the same volume/ intensity as before. The warranty repair did not remedy the issue.

Bought the truck brand new. After 8k miles front tires started cupping. Took it in and was told it was simply due to "soft" factory tires. After 17k miles tires were gone and bought a more expensive higher mileage warranty tire. Rotated tires at 7k miles, After about 3k miles same thing happened. Had an alignment done prior to the new tires and was told it was perfect. All signs point to alignment or front end suspension, ball joint or tie rods. After 3 days sitting in the shop I was once again told nothing is wrong, alignment is perfect and it was my fault, either driving habits, not rotating tires every 2500 miles, ect. After picking the truck up and driving less than 20 miles the transmission started slipping. Call the dealership about the concern and they have ceased communication. Was advised to go online for an appointment which is more than 2 weeks out. Upon reviewing the specs for the alignment, it appears they are relying on specs for a standard ram 2500 vs a ram rebel which has a factory lift with different specs. I did question this and was told the alignment is perfect. The dealership takes no responsibility nor any urgency with catastrophic issues

Trailer lights not working properly, the marker lights flash when turn headlights on loss of brake and turn signal lights. Hooked another ram 2500 up and did same then hooked a 2013 ram and a 2021 Yukon up and all lights on trailer worked as it should. Have contacted dealer they are saying they never heard of, then at another dealer they are saying they have 4 rams with this issue and it’s with the trailer module and one was even melted. Saftey issue to me because if I’m driving my camper with my kids in it and we have no proper lighting to avoid being hit or if it melts and causes a vehicle fire

After the y43 recall that Dodge did on 2022 Cummins Ram vehicles I have had four issues. The first one being the recall itself having sensors stuck while replacing, the second being the particulate filter sensor, third being DPF pressure sensor, and fourth being the maf sensor. During my most recent visit of getting the math sensor replaced I was not given any reason to why this was being replaced when they said everything seem to be within parameters. The dealership had stayed in one talking to the TA or tech advisor that they wanted to try this to see if it fixed the issue. I am now back again at the dealership just days later after the dealership having my truck for 2 weeks for the same issue. This all stems from the y43 recall and I've only had issues since. I've asked for specific answers to specific questions in Dodge seems to pass technical engineering questions back to the dealership without providing educated answers instead of educated guesses. During the y43 recall it stated that there is potential fire hazards in other issues that could happen. I'm not okay with ram allowing for guessing games when it comes to my safety. I would like answers in educated fixes put into place while ensuring that the y43 recall they guaranteed the government is resolved without any further issues during this fix.

The truck is currently exhibiting a loud metal tapping/ slapping/ ticking noise when driving from the engine. It is loud enough it can be heard over road/ wind noise, it can also be heard in high idle situations. The truck has been to the dealer where it was purchased and they refused to research the issue because of a current RAM service bulletin that the noise is “under investigation”. It has 6,000 miles and the noise started immediately after the first oil change.

On Sunday, 9/14/25 driving on a 70 MPH interstate highway, pulling a trailer behind the Newly-purchased 2025 truck (only 700 miles on it), the road narrowed down to one lane because of a traffic obstruction and cones. As I slowed down to about 35 mph and then went to speed up again as the traffic eased, the vehicle provided a ping notification sound and the Electronic Vehicular Instrument Cluster (EVIC) display stated something to the effect of "Shift into 'P' to start vehicle". I realized that the vehicle was not responsive as expected, indicating power steering had failed, likely because the engine was off. I'm uncertain whether the steering wheel was locked, which is likely, because at that speed, only a very slight turn of the wheel was needed to move into the closed lane on the straight road. I continued to coast to get the vehicle and trailer over to the right, hugging the cones which were mid-lane in the closed lane, allowing other cars to go around me while I came to a complete stop on the interstate to shift into Park. Once I could get the gearshift into Park, I started the vehicle again, at which point it drove normally. The trailer had been weighed just that morning and both tongue and overall weight were well within the capacity of the vehicle. It was hooked up to the electrical systems of the tow vehicle via the 7-pin connector. I had the EVIC set to show vehicular information - oil pressure, oil temperature, etc. I similarly had information like battery voltage displayed on a widget on the uconnect screen. Everything looked nominal. No error code was logged to my knowledge. I have since seen similar reports from other 2025 RAM owners in NHTSA complaints and on social media. My dealership is unaware of these issues having been reported elsewhere, so they are starting from scratch in finding a diagnosis on a seemingly intermittent issue. That process is ongoing at this time.

- #11687381September 15, 2025SEAT BELTS
Twice, the seatbelt recoil mechanism has failed. Not only will the seatbelt not self retract, potentially leaving a considerable amount of slack in the seatbelt, but also the seatbelt does not stop when it is pulled quickly, meaning that it doesn't actually do anything in the case of an accident. The original seatbelt on this vehicle did the same thing, and after I had it replaced, the replacement does the same thing, indicating that it is clearly a faulty component at a scale larger than an individual faulty piece.

While driving my 2025 RAM 2500, the entire digital dash is intermittently going dark and will stay dark for several minutes, powering back up and functions as it should then goes back out. This presents the possibility for significant hazard potential as all visual indicators for speed etc are lost. The vehicle loses the ability to use turn signals as well as many other functions while this is occurring.

My 2023, Ram 2500 truck with a Cummins 6.7L diesel engine has a known defect with the grid heater bolt. This bolt can loosen or break off, falling into the engine and causing catastophic engine failure. This creates a suddne loss of power, espcially dangerous when towing heavy loads at highway speeds. Numerous owners have reported this issue, yet no recall has been issued. I request investigation and action to protect driver safety.

- #11685163September 4, 2025TIRES:SIDEWALL
Bought 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 equipped with Firestone LT275/70R18E 125 tires on Dec2023. Truck has 21000 miles, sidewalls on all 4 tires are splitting and have a ring around them in the same exact spot on the sidewalls. Dealer said it appears to be a defect on all tires. Dodge referred me to Firestone, got no where with them. Tires appear the sidewalls could blow out on highway and unsafe. Caught defects before possible premature blowouts on all 4 tires due to premature cracking on sidewalls. No towing or hauling done with truck, never been off pavement either, truck parked under cover from sun etc. Dealer advised tires not worn and had great tread depth. Dodge Ram installed these tires to sell the truck but referred me to Firestone for replacement, still trying to get someone to own up to these defective tires besides me.
