June 2025 rear door locks stopped working. (Odometer 12,538) I was unable to lock/unlock doors with key fob or with inside driver's door lock/unlock button. Repaired 06/10/2025 at Mentor Nissan, 44060, by replacement of parts #82500-6R0B & 82501-6R0B: CONTROLLER-LOCK in both rear doors. Incident #2: Feb 2026 front driver-side door lock became inoperable, the same as had occurred with the rear door locks. I'm at Nissan Mentor today (02/17/2026) for evaluation & repair. (Odometer 15,200) Both of these door lock issues resulted in inability to enter/exit vehicle. Very dangerous if someone were unable to exit vehicle in emergency. Otherwise a big inconvenience requiring one to climb over other seats to enter/exit vehicle. The car is under extended warranty. June 2025 I paid $100 deductible plus tax & fee, totaling $110.21. Today's repair cost to be determined. In each incident there were no warning lamps or messages. Both issues began with intermittent lock/unlock failure, then escalated to complete failure within 2-3 weeks. This has caused several inconveniences of not being able to enter the vehicle through the effected doors. And now the second incident again requires waiting for repair. In the first instance with rear door there was a wait of several weeks for the needed replacement parts. I anticipate the same delay with the front door repair. As I write this I'm at Mentor Nissan facility waiting for report from service department.

The moment it happened I'm cruising at 75 mph, highway humming under the tires, everything normal. Then—without warning—the engine doesn’t just stumble, it fails. A sudden jolt, a surge of noise that doesn’t belong, the power dropping out like someone pulled the plug on the entire vehicle. In a split second, your brain goes from autopilot to full survival mode. My hands tighten on the wheel. My eyes snap to the dash. My mind is already calculating: *Shoulder? Speed? Traffic? What’s behind me?* It’s the kind of moment where you don’t think—you react. And afterward, when the car finally coasts to a stop and the adrenaline drains, you’re left with that hollow, shaky feeling that only comes from a real scare. Why the sounds bother me now I think my reaction now isn’t irrational. It’s your nervous system doing exactly what it’s designed to do after a sudden, dangerous event. When something fails at highway speed, your brain tags it as a threat. So now: - A faint rattle becomes “Is it happening again” - A vibration becomes “What did they miss” - A normal engine note becomes “What if I’m not safe” That’s not weakness. That’s pattern recognition. It’s your brain trying to protect you from a repeat of a moment that could have gone very differently.

I rented this vehicle from Enterprise on 02/05/26 with approximately 50k+ miles on it. On 02/15/26 at approximately 945am I was stopped in a restaurant drive thru and heard a loud pop and looked back to see the rear window had shattered. I got out and verified nothing had hit the window. The driver next to me stated he saw the rear window explode without notice or outside force. The temperatures were in the mid 40s and raining. The rear defrost was not on at the time nor was the rear wiper. However both were on approximately 15-30 minutes prior for about 15 minutes.

MY REAR BACK UP CAMERS STOPPED WORKING. I TOOK THE CAR TO MY LOCAL NISSAN DEALER. I BOUGHT THE EXTENDED WARRENTY FOR ELECTRONICS SO THEY REPLACED THE CAMERA TO NO AVAIL. THEN THEY REPLACED THE A/V CONTROL UNIT WHICH DID NOT FIX THE PROBELM. AT THAT TIME THEY ADVISED ME THE REAR WIPER GROMMET LEAKED WATED WHICH CAUSED THE CAMERA CONNECTOR TO CORRODE. THEY ADVISED ME TO FIX THIS I MUST REPLACE THE TAILGATE. THERE IS NO REPAIR FOR THIS. I HAVE SEEN POSTING ON FACEBOOK AND OTHER PLACES SHOWING I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THIS IS HAPPENING TO. THE DEALER KNEW ABOUT IT BUT WHEN I QUESTIONED IF IT WAS A KNOWN ISSUE THET PLAYED DUMB I FEEL THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE AS I HAVE NO REAR CAMERA NOW

- #11718101February 15, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
While driving at 45 MPH with my wife in the front passenger seat, on a two lane road (one way each direction) in Wake Forest NC, no cars were in the front or rear of my vehicle , sunny clear weather, the following happened: Driving normally, then all of a sudden, the car proceeds to, what felt like emergency braking and then a split second, the dashboard signals come on , different symbols, then a red image appears on the dashboard (for a split second) then it brakes hard a second time (within a split second) then everything clears and the car proceeds to drive normally. The braking action felt like a severe brake pulsing, then a split second release and then another spilt second brake pulsing and then everything cleared and the car continued to drive normally. The braking was so severe, my wife and I lurched forward towards the windshield, held back by our seat belts. The braking occurred suddenly with nothing near the vehicle. The emergency braking came in the first pulse, then followed by a extremely brief release(split second) then another quick emergency braking action(split second), then multiple lights and warnings quickly appeared on the dash board ending with a split second red symbol (so brief i could not determine any of the warnings or lights). Then the car drove normally after that. If any vehicle had been behind us, a rear accident collision could have taken place. This happened on Saturday, February 14th at approximately 2:30pm on Forestville Road, in Wake Forest, NC. This was an extremely dangerous situation. As this is now a Sunday, the Nissan dealer will be contacted tomorrow and arrangements will be made to bring the vehicle in for an inspection ASAP. I feel the vehicle is unsafe to drive at this point in time.

While driving on the freeway, the car started to feel like it was requiring more pressure on the gas. Heading to an exit ramp, as more gas that was pressed, white smoke suddenly started to come out of the exhaust and even into the passenger compartment (presumably from the engine) and just as it neared an exit ramp , the car lost all power... incredibly dangerous with other cars beginning to line up behind the car. Then the gear shift could not go into neutral so the car could be pushed to a safe location. When the Auto Club associate arrived, he was able to get the car in neutral and tow it to the local Nissan dealer (Van Nuys, CA).

Incident Summary: On February 14, 2026, at an automatic conveyor car wash, my Nissan vehicle would not shift into neutral while in motion on the conveyor belt. It stayed in drive/reverse, creating a hazard as it could resist conveyor movement or cause unintended acceleration/reverse. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Transmission shifter/gear selection system (likely electronic shift-by-wire or CVT controls) prevented shift to neutral while vehicle was in low-speed motion. This seems due to a software safety interlock blocking neutral during movement, similar to reported Nissan issues (e.g., Rogue/Pathfinder/Ariya models requiring hold procedures or "neutral hold mode"). Vehicle available for inspection and in my possession, Knoxville TN). How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Inability to shift to neutral prevented free rolling on conveyor, risking resistance, jerky movement, hopping off track, collision with mechanism/other vehicles, or rear-end incidents. Hazard to me (driver) and car wash attendants/customers. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? UNKNOWN — Incident today; not yet diagnosed/reproduced at dealer. Similar owner complaints noted in forums (difficulty shifting to neutral at car washes due to safety features). Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? UNKNOWN — No inspections yet by Nissan, police (no crash), insurance, or others. No damage occurred. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warning lamps, messages, noises, or symptoms prior. Shifter worked normally idle (shifted to neutral after initial exit), but failed again in motion—likely motion-related interlock.

I turned on my Nissan Rogue 2024. The moment I hit this on button I heard a loud bang and my back windshield had completely shattered. I immediately called the dealership I bought it from Beau Townsend Nissan because I knew I had paid for security plus gold preferred and Ultimate Platinum Protection and wanted to know what to do. The dealership gave me the number to customer care, then customer care said it’s not covered under extended warranty and gave me another number, and after talking to various people I ended up back with the dealership begging for help. They said oh it definitely would not be covered. This incident posed risks as there was no warning anything would happen. Much of the glass shattered into the trunk in small crevices and I have children. The glass sprayed across the driveway where it can get in tired if a shard is missed. I had to leave my car with a huge hole outside in my neighborhood where there has been convicted theft.

There is an open recall for this car model for many months now. I received official notices of the recall. However when I took the car to the Nissan dealership to be serviced, they stated the manufacturer had not provided them with a fix for this engine problem recall and they were unable to address the issue. The car therefore is still being driven for me and my family without the engine problem being fixed or addressed.

Engine failed while driving at a high speed while driving in the middle lane on the Garden State Parkway. The engine light came on and my speed started to decrease. Thankfully I was able to pull to the shoulder before the car stopped completely. I got the information about the recall after this happened and was dated for the day after the failure. It has since been replaced through warranty.

I went out and got in my 2025 Nissan Roque in the garage. I opened the driver's side door, got in, closed the door and heard a loud explosion. My back window completely blew out! It was frightening! Glass is all over inside the back of my car and behind it. I'm thankful no one was in that whole area! I called my insurance that day and they contacted SAFELITE immediately and set up and appointment to have them come and replace it here in my garage, although it has taken 6 days. 6 days without a vehicle! I have since learned there is Class Action Law Suit on this ongoing matter.

I have a brand new 2024 Nissan rogue I keep it very pristine condition and I follow all recommendations for service on my vehicle. I am down in Naples Florida originally from Crystal Lake Illinois, and while I was at the gas station called Murphy's in Naples I presumably got bad fuel and now I have $3,000 in damages on my car. I asked the Naples Nissan dealership to help me fill out a form to make Murphy's be held accountable and they still haven't done it 5 days later. I'm in a rental car losing money everyday. I contacted Nissan consumer affairs and their case manager is in India she's never returned my call, she has never even contacted the dealership and I contacted the consumer affairs department again yesterday asking for a supervisor to call me back but I never got a return call. I'm at a financial loss, and under horrible stress due to all these conditions with no one helping me resolve my issue. I need help please help!

The back window randomly exploded while I was taking my children to school and there are MULTIPLE complaints of the same issue but NISSAN hasn’t issued a recall yet. My children could have been cut or injured yet I am somehow responsible for a window exploding on its own all because I used the defoggers. That is not safe AT ALL.

The rear window shattered without being hit by anything. We were parked in a lot and the window just shattered for no apparent reason. Window fragments are dangerous. I saw the issue online when I started to investigate if this was a one off or it happened to others. We are scheduled to visit the dealership. They indicated that they had another incident with video proof that nothing struck the rear window and it just shattered. The dealership also indicated that Nissan refused to fix it. There was no warning. Something needs to be done to cure this situation. Our vehicle is brand new - we have owned it for less than a year.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, unknown orange warning lights illuminated, and the message “Do Not Drive” was displayed. The contact was instructed by the dealer to immediately tow the vehicle to the dealer. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed, and determined that a wiring harness had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000. The VIN was not available.
