SummaryFUEL FILLER TUBE LOWER SEAL IS LEAKING AND DTC P0456 IS STORED IN THE ECM IF YOU CONFIRM The vehicle has a visible leak with a smoke machine test coming from the fuel filler tube lower seal, AND DTC P0456 is stored as “Active”, “Past”, or “Pending” in the ECM. ACTION 1. Remove the supplied funnel from the rear of the vehicle or trunk. 2. Insert the funnel completely in the fuel filler tube and remove completely five (5) times. 3. Re-check the fuel filler tube lower seal with a smoke machine to determine visually if any leak is present. 4. If the fuel filler lower seal continues to leak, replace the fuel filler tube. Dealer Announcement: To ensure continued customer satisfaction and confidence, Nissan is conducting a quality action on certain specific model year 2025 ARIYA, 2024-2025 Pathfinder, 2024-2026 Rogue, 2024-2025 Murano and 2025-2026 Kicks vehicles, as identified in Service Comm and DBS National Service History. This action updates the Monroney labels to reflect corrected bumper labeling requirements for California and Hawaii. Dealers will replace original Monroney labels with corrected Monroney labels. Nissan will send VIN-specific corrected labels to address affected vehicles in dealer inventory. New labels will begin shipping via Federal Express Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Dealers will replace original Monroney labels with corrected Monroney labels. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. What Dealers Should Do: PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaigns I.D. PD172 & PMA55 •New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information •Some vehicles may still be in transit. SummaryENGINE COOLANT SERVICE PROCEDURE SERVICE INFORMATION When draining and refilling the vehicle’s coolant for any reason, refer to the updated Electronic Service Manual (ESM) service procedure starting on page 2 of this bulletin to ensure that all air pockets have been completely purged. When refilling the cooling system, use Genuine Nissan BLUE LONG LIFE ANTIFREEZE or its equivalent, mixed with water that is distilled or demineralized. This amended procedure will be added to the ESM in a future update to the following ESM section: ENGINE > ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM > KR15DDT > PERIODIC MAINTENANCE > ENGINE COOLANT > Refilling IMPORTANT: The following information under step 5 on page 3 will be added to the ESM. If not using CONSULT, turn on cabin heater switch. Open the ENGINE COOLANT BYPASS VALVE by using CONSULT WORK SUPPORT function. o Refer to : ENGINE - ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM - KR15DDT - SYSTEM DESCRIPTION - DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM (ECM) - DIAGNOSIS DESCRIPTION - CONSULT Function) Do not use additives, such as water leak preventive, since they may cause cooling waterway blockages.

SERVICE INFORMATION The APPLIED VEHICLES that come equipped with a factory installed SOS switch, located near the overhead map lamp, also come equipped with a wireless communication device called a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). With an active NissanConnect® Services subscription, the TCU communicates with the Nissan Data Center to provide various security and convenience services. CONSULT has been updated to allow DTC B2E01-96 for “Internal battery” to be cleared in the TCU. If DTC B2E01-96 is Current/Active in the TCU, and no additional Current/Active DTCs are present in the TCU, perform the SERVICE PROCEDURE starting on page 2.
