My car has manufacturer defect / crack on steering knuckle. There has been recall in UK and Canada. Why not in states? Driving with crack / defect in steering knuckle is extremely dangerous. It has been proven that this has caused by over tightening the nut bolt. There are so many land rovers have this reported issues. The car leaked all antifreeze. This is a 2012 Range Rover sport that has the same problem as the recall N623. “ The recall number for the 2012 Land Rover Range Rover is N623. The recall was for certain 2010–2013 Range Rover Sport and 2010–2016 LR4 vehicles with 3.0L V6 or 5.0L V8 engines”. The dealerships refused to take in consideration my vehicle or reimburse for the cost to fix.

Engine failed at 43k miles. RR would not take apart engine to identify failure. Local RR repair shop (Elite Rovers) claims they see 3-4 dead RR engines per week usually between 60k-80k miles. He thinks it’s a coolant component failure that damages the engine. This many failures per week is not normal. There seems to be a class action lawsuit over engine failure in the UK and Australia—so this is not a small problem. My husband was driving the car when it happened and if on the freeway could have been seriously hurt. No warning, no engine light, no leaks…. Just locked up and died. 6 months later my neighbors RR engine also locked up and died. There are 6 dead engine RR at the dealer right now that people are abandoning because the cost to put a new engine in costs more than the value of the car or there are no engines available. Who can make JLR (manufacturer) take responsibility for this known issue that they are playing as if they dont know?

Land Rover has been made aware through several complaints that there is a widespread issue with their vehicles that requires recall. Thousands of customers have reported issues in their vehicles with cylinder 4 cracked pistons resulting in engine failure. Land Rover refuses to address the issue in their vehicles causing this malfunction and costly vehicle repair. Land Rover needs to issue a recall to address and rectify this issue in their vehicles as this issue results in the vehicle losing speed and coming to a complete halt with no warning from the vehicle. This could result in death of multiple people and cause crashes. It is highly dangerous and needs to be addressed by Land Rover with urgency.

TRIM ELECTRICAL - Upon dealer service inspection, technician found the air bag light on. DTCS code B0020-13 left side airbag deployment control circuit open due to the wiring harness routed under the driver's seat becoming chafed as a result of the automatic seat adjustment resulting in a nondeployment or late deployment of airbag. Dealer recommended replacement of the wiring harness. THIS IS A DEFECTIVE DESIGN - this is a stock vehicle with 63k miles and normal use of moving the electronic driver's seat forward or back should not interfere with an airbag's performance.

The car vibrates a lot. I bought this car 2 months ago and it's my first Land Rover. I loved the car. I want to use it to cross the United States and then take it to Europe. This year I want to do something different because I lost a son at the beginning of the year. I really need the car. I want to cross all of the United States by car. I need the car to be safe.

leaking coolant onto the Turbocharger. My coolant light has been coming on often for the past year or so. A month after I top off coolant my Warnings light indicates low coolant. I’ve been to Land Rover Range Rover multiple times with this issue, I was told there is no issue and they top it off and tell me it’s good to go, a month later same issue. I’ve noticed there has been a recall on this matter for 2019-2021 Land Rover Ranger Rover PHEV but not on Range Rover sport 2021 even though there has been many complaints about this. I went in today and I was not talking no for an answer and finally they check and as I had suspected coolant is leaking onto turbocharger. I will attach a photo that the technician from Jaguar Land Rover Fort Lauderdale has uploaded to the Service Status Tracker link, there you will see that it is the same issue that the recall was on for Land Rover Range Rover sport PHEV vehicles Recall no. 23V221000. They have not added my specific Range Rover Sport to the recall.

Here's an improved version: --- While driving on M59, the main screen turned off unexpectedly. I exited the main road and pulled into a strip mall outside a Costco. The vehicle then completely stopped and shut down. The hazard lights were not functioning, and I couldn't restart the vehicle. After waiting for 5 minutes outside the car, I got back in and called the local dealer, Land Rover of Troy, Michigan. While on the phone, the car suddenly turned back on as they were answering. This incident happened yesterday, and I want to ensure there's a record of it because it was extremely dangerous. ---

While driving on the freeway a low coolant notification came on. Minutes later we saw what we believed to be our engine in smoke. We made it to the side of the highway before the car became engulfed in steam. Car was towed to Land Rover Rancho Mirage. It was found that lower front coolant manifold had failed what caused the sudden release of steam. This caused engine to overheat and allow coolant to enter the lubrication jacket causing the oil to become contaminated resulting in full engine damage. The person we spoke with knew pretty quickly what happened. Online research shows this is a known problem with Land Rover Range Rover Sport and it has not been recalled. We were quoted 30K to replace engine. We got it replaced outside of dealership for 20K. This is a serious safety issue. I have videos of damage I can send in an email, it will not let me upload.
