1. On June 30, 2026, it suffered a total loss of electrical power at highway speed on I-85. 2. Land Rover Greenville, under the direction of JLR Technical Assistance, has made three unsuccessful attempts to repair the same defect. 3. The vehicle has now been out of service for more than 3 months. 4. The condition is consistent with the DC/DC converter defect JLR itself identified in Recalls 26V-248 and 26V-599 and in Special Service Message SSM76173.

- #11770003October 8, 2026WHEELS, SUSPENSION, STEERING
Date of Incident: 10/08/2026 Component Affected: SUSPENSION:FRONT:STEERING KNUCKLE / AXLE HUB Complaint Description: The vehicle suffered a catastrophic, sudden structural failure of the front passenger-side suspension assembly while moving at low speed out of a residential driveway on October 8, 2026. Without any prior impact or warning, the front suspension completely separated, causing the front wheel assembly to detach entirely from the vehicle. The vehicle collapsed to the ground, tearing out the front CV axle and breaking vital brake fluid lines. Initial physical inspection shows the aluminum steering knuckle (spindle) completely fractured and split open at the upper ball joint seating, allowing the wheel assembly to break free from the control arms. This represents an extreme, life-threatening manufacturing safety defect. Had this component failed at highway speeds, total loss of steering control and a fatal crash would have occurred. The vehicle has 78,690 miles and has no history of structural accidents or suspension modifications. The manufacturer (Jaguar Land Rover) has previously issued a safety campaign (N759) for cracked steering knuckles on similar architectures, but this specific VIN was not included. The NHTSA must investigate if JLR’s structural knuckle issues extend to the 2019 Range Rover Sport Supercharged V8 models to prevent a fatal highway failure. Photographic evidence has been preserved.

My vehicle is currently subject to NHTSA recall # 26V-248. Then I started getting a check engine light with codes P0A1F-96 and P0A7B which are directly related to the recall. I took the vehicle to a Land Rover dealership and was told they are unrelated. My vehicle has only 46,000 miles on it and I was told I needed a new MHEV lithium Ion battery and that I would have to pay for it out of pocket. These batteries should last well over 100K miles if not for the direct problems caused by the recall. Having to pay for this out of pocket rather than the dealership covering it seems completely unfair.

they have failed to come up with a fix for this and am concerned that I will be stuck somewhere on the side of the road, or could be passing someone if this happens and the car will lose power while I am passing someone. this recall needs a fix for this car. I checked with the dealer the week of 9-20-26 and Land Rover still does not have a fix which is completely unacceptable

Jaguar Land Rover Dallas is actively retaliating against a safety recall complaint. They are refusing a workmanship review and have issued a predatory $10,000 quote to replace the exact suspension components their technicians completely disassembled four days ago.

I purchased this car a week ago, and the engine made a loud noise and shut down in the middle of the roadway, almost caused a rear end collision. I pulled to the side of the road and all the oil was running out of the engine. The mechanic said the plastic timing chain in that model is common to fail, and in my case destroyed the engine block, $24,000 to repair a $16,000 car is insane. This is apparently a know issue with this vehicle and nothing is being done about it.

- #11767215September 27, 2026ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:DC/DC CONVERTER
2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport VIN: [XXX] Repair Order/Invoice No.: XXX NHTSA Recall No.: 26V248 Land Rover Recall No.: D126/H575 I received a Land Rover safety-recall notification in June 2026 concerning the DC/DC converter on my vehicle. The recall is identified by NHTSA as 26V248 and by Land Rover as D126/H575. The subsequent failure of my vehicle involved the exact component identified in the recall. On or about XXX, my vehicle experienced a charging-system fault and would not start. I brought the vehicle to Jaguar Land Rover Van Nuys/[XXX]. The dealer's own repair documentation states: "DC / DC converter internal failure." The dealer further documented that the charging system was producing approximately 11 volts. The dealer then: Removed/replaced the DC/DC converter. My vehicle subsequently experienced the exact condition described in the recall, and the dealer diagnosed the exact recalled component as having an internal failure. I was charged $2522.59 for the repairs of the DC/DC converter and battery replacement due to low voltage. NHTSA states that recall repairs are to be performed free of charge at the manufacturer's dealership. I was informed that I needed a second letter of notification for reimbursement. - #11764927September 17, 2026ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING
The contact owns a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Hybrid. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, the message “Add Coolant” was displayed. After adding coolant to the coolant reservoir, the message remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a service center, where it was diagnosed and determined that coolant was leaking from the pipes and elbows. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be repaired. The mechanic associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V221000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure by telephone and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

The braking system keeps repeatedly failing. I have numerous times been driving when the braking system locks, leaving the car uncapable of securing a safe stop at any given moment. In 2024, the vehicle was serviced at Landrover Englewood, NJ where I paid for repairs. The same problem yet again emerged causing the risk of potential accident on September 1, 2026 while driving on the local city roadways. The following dashboard error messages came on my screen: "Hill Descent Control not available", "OK to drive with caution Stability control not available," and there was a third (?) message that I did not capture in time. These signs have intermittently popped up on my dash over the past few years and when brought to Mt. Kisco (seller) dealerships attention, was told by the service manager at the time that this was not an issue to be concerned with. The vehicle is currently in the landrover Edison NJ shop again due to the SAME BRAKE FAILURE/ISSUE I EXPERIENCED IN 2024, but yes, is available for inspection upon request. I launched an email back in 2024 (copy is available at your request) regarding this same issue to the landrover dealer and attorney generals office highlighting the safety risk, as I was traveling on the turnpike (the most concerning, heart dropping, life threatening experience) amongst other public roadways when I experienced this life threatening safety concern. I had to think immediately and shift the vehicle into park mode while driving because the vehicles brakes locked and failed to stop the vehicle. The vehicle was eventually fully inspected by the Mt. Kisco landrover service center and returned back to me, deemed safe in 2024. No other inspections from any other parties, to my knowledge, have been made.

The car experienced a complete electrical failure. Exactly like the recall D126 warns about. This engineering fix is taking too long. They should simply replace the DC/DC converter. I was stuck in the middle of the intersection and had to have my car towed, battery replaced. They are slow playing this problem to avoid having to pay for repairs.

The gas tank shield on my 2015 Range Rover Sport appears to be severely rusted and corroded\. This shield is designed to support and protect the fuel tank, so significant corrosion could potentially compromise its structural integrity and create a safety concern if it is not repaired or replaced\. The shield also appears to be made from a material that is particularly susceptible to rust and corrosion\. Given its important role in supporting and protecting the fuel tank, I believe the condition of this component should be addressed promptly to prevent further deterioration and any potential safety issues\.

I purchased a 2019 Range Rover Sport on July 24, 2026. The steering wheel had been off-center since purchase, so on August 31, 2026, I took the vehicle to an independent repair facility for an alignment. During inspection, the shop discovered that the rear subframe/crossmember was fractured at the left-rear suspension mounting area. The repair facility inspected underneath the vehicle and reported that they did not find corresponding impact damage or other evidence underneath that would indicate the fracture resulted from an accident, road impact, or other external hit. Based on their inspection, the technicians stated that they suspect the rear subframe failure may be related to a casting/manufacturing issue with the Land Rover aluminum subframe. This is a serious safety concern because the fracture is located at a rear suspension mounting point and has resulted in significant rear-wheel alignment abnormalities. I am reporting this to NHTSA so the failure can be documented and evaluated for similar incidents involving Range Rover Sport rear subframes.

2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport P400 Dynamic SE, VIN [XXX]. Leased new March 2025; 11,690 miles. The instrument cluster repeatedly displays "Please check engine coolant level" although the vehicle is not due for service. The cooling system is sealed and coolant should not be consumed or lost on a vehicle this new, indicating a leak or a defective level sensor. Land Rover has documented this exact symptom in manufacturer communications filed with NHTSA for the 2025 Range Rover Sport (July 2025: engine coolant leak, low coolant warning) and in a dealer bulletin for turbocharger coolant feed/return hose O-ring leaks on the Ingenium I6 3.0L petrol engine (bulletin D061). An undetected coolant leak can lead to engine overheating and sudden loss of power. I am requesting that this defect be investigated and recorded.
