My vehicle has been nearly underivable since purchased. Several times I have taken the car in for things like: No power. The car will drive, but slowly and with no "get up and go". It takes quite a bit of time to get to legal driving speed. This has happened on a highway at least once, and multiple times on regular roads. My electrical system has failed, and all components, including my battery, has shut down. This happened on the highway on my way to work. I lost time at work as well as my car for 34 days. (This is the second time it has happened). My gas tank cover refusing to open/my gas tank refusing to accept gas. My electric battery getting too hot and burning through wires, including my coolant tubes, which in turn, shut my car down. This happened on a major road. All of these things have caused immediate safety to myself and others that have been in my car when it stopped working. I have thankfully been able to get myself off the road in all of these instances without causing an accident. There have been several break downs where I had to have someone come get me, and I have had it towed several times to the dealership as well. I have broken down entirely on the highway several times, slowing to a stop and having people needing to drive around me, or stop to help. I have taken the vehicle in many, many times and have been without my car for over 40 days (if I counted, it would be over 60 days). The dealership has told me it's a 4xe problem, but then lists the problem on paper as various things (coolant leaks, high voltage battery problem). At this point, I am afraid to drive it, as I have 1 active recall with no remedy available and a few alerts. My check engine light came on again this morning with no reasoning behind it, and the Jeep says to check ABS braking system and electrical systems. It's my very expensive daily driver. It has been inspected by two dealerships, with me taking into one dealership at least 12 times for recalls and repairs.

On August 18, 2024 after charging the vehicle it showed a 95% charge instead of 100%. Immediately after attempting to drive the car, it began to stall and multiple warning laps/messages were on the dash board including “service charging system, check engine, red plug light, red battery light, red wrench with lightning bolts, red lightning bolt with backwards parentheses)(.” Car was not able to be driven more than a few miles per hour and a few feet before it stalled. During an attempt to drive the car and move it to a secure parking spot, the car stalled and large amounts of smoke came out of the exhaust smelling like burning. Car was towed to dealership. Car was unable to be towed onto the tow truck, tow truck driver had to just start the car 3 times and drive it up the tow truck ramp with jumper pack attached to car battery. This situation was unsafe for myself as the driver, surrounding cars/pedestrians, and for the tow truck driver who drove the car in order to tow it. When the dealership was diagnosing the vehicle problem, the replicated the problem. Initially the tech states the car is drivable and all set. When I questioned that a similar issue occurred when the vehicle was brand new and the plug needed to be changed and the whole hybrid system was disabled for 5 months while waiting for the part, the tech/manager continued to assess the car and stated the hybrid battery needs to be changed and the car cannot be driven. It took 4 weeks to receive and replace the part. The car and charging was working perfectly fine until I received the recall on the replaced battery of fire risk and not to drive it charged, park inside or near cars and buildings. This continues to be a threat daily to myself as the driver, cars around me and where I park. Such guidelines cannot be avoided and this car continues to have issues with the hybrid component that are not only unsafe but a complete waste of money for the consumer.

Windshield developed a crack with no impact. Windshield was normal on a morning errand, then noticed on an afternoon impact. Took dealership and they took pictures, and they did not find any evidence of impact, but refuse to repair under warranty.

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH on an interstate with her son occupying the front passenger's side seat, the vehicle shuddered violently. Additionally, the steering wheel became uncontrollable. The contact stopped in the right-hand lane and turned on the hazard lights. The contact was able to continue driving, but the failure recurred while driving. The contact stated that the front end of the vehicle started shuddering violently while driving 60 MPH. Upon researching the failure, the contact's husband became aware that the vehicle had experienced the Death Wobble. The contact stated that while traveling over a bridge and driving 50 MPH over a road seam, the failure recurred. The driver came to a complete stop. The contact stated that the failure recurred while her husband was driving the vehicle, causing the contact's husband to decelerate to 10 MPH. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the steering damper needed to be replaced; however, the part was on backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. POWER TRAIN
3 months after purchase. I Driving on highway 70mph, pressed clutch peddle as I was exiting and slowing down. clutch literally combusted (and fly wheel). Jeep was smoking and smelled like fire. Coasted to side of road and rolled into gas station: car wasn’t operable and had to be towed. Thankfully not a lot of traffic as this was a very UNSAFE SITUATION FOR MYSELF AND MY DAUGHTER! Clutch and flywheel were replaced by dealer after a few weeks. No warning lights. I’ve since had TWO CLUTCHES RELACED. A TOTAL OF THREE! I have contacted chysler (denied my claim) and filed a complaint with the AG. I do NOT feel safe driving this vehicle, I have major anxiety when I am driving in Traffic because I get wanting to release the clutch peddle due to overheating. The jeep sits in the driveway whenever possible due to safety concerns. And I’m PAYING MONTHLY PAYMENTS. It’s frustrated and EXTREMELY UNSAFE!

Recall #95B one of many since I purchased my vehicle. Cannot use it for what it was purchased for which was to use electric and save gas money. Now recall states not to plug in vehicle and that it can catch fire and explode at any time running or not. I am scared to death to drive this vehicle and have my child anywhere near it. And it is our only vehicle which costs me over $1000 a month payment I can barely afford. Its causing us extreme stress and anxiety. I have been trying for months to get rid of this vehicle which has dropped over 50% in the value.

SUSPENSION
On several occasions the vehicle experienced the 'death wobble' this is a known issue and was recalled on earlier models but the 2021 has not been recalled. The suspension shakes aggressively out of nowhere at highway speeds. This is extremely dangerous! The entire car shakes and rattles aggressively on the highway, it is so easy to lose control of the vehicle! I could not get it to stop and had to dangerously pull over on the side of the highway!

While driving on [XXX] to upstate NY in heavy traffic on [XXX], my Jeep Wrangler 4xe lost power and showed the error message "Put vehicle in Park and shift gear" while at highway speed. I had no ability to accelerate but steering was still enabled and allowed me to pull over to the side of the road to investigate. Fortunately I was being followed by another member of my family and they provided a bit of a roadblock to allow us to navigate the traffic. At the time power was lost, the console had several warning lights including the check engine light, multiple battery system lights and others. After shutting the Jeep off, it started up again normally as if nothing had happened. I called the dealer who basically said they couldn't reproduce the issue but it had happened to others and clears on its own. Additionally, up to this point, the Jeep had several times been unable to charge in the warm summer weather with error messages Check Charging System and the Check Engine Light which I was able to clear with an OBDII scanner. I purchased my Jeep March 14th 2024 I purchased my Jeep as a buy back that had already been fixed. I purchased an additional 6000 warranty to be double protected. I received a letter from FCA on 10.18.2024 stating the 95B recall letting me know my vehicle can catch on fire at anytime. They also have no fix for this issue. I want them to buy back my jeep due to this extremely dangerous recall and they refuse. I cannot begin to explain how unsafe I feel on a daily basis. This has given me extreme anxiety that I now have to take daily medication for. I think it’s criminal that they will not buy back my jeep! There has to be a class action lawsuit if not I’ll hire my own attorney. This is beyond criminal.

The safety of this vehicle is a ticking time bomb. We are instructed not to park in or near a structure, near other vehicles, or charge it. Even if I don’t not charge it how am I supposed to park at my own home? How am I supposed to park at work? You are putting several lives at risk not to mention others vehicles, houses, businesses. I do search and rescue and have my k9 with me pretty much at all times. I am told it can ignite at anytime but it’s ok to leave my dog in? Where is the safety and concern over my highly trained k9 let alone family pet. I will never feel safe with this car again. I asked if they even replaced the battery if they could tell me it wouldn’t happen with the new battery and I could park back in my garage and they said no they couldn’t say it wouldn’t happen again.
